I held my wedding at Malaparte on August 7 after covid derailed my original plans and I am so glad I did! Betty was Responsive and easy to work with. Everything was setup beautifully the day of my wedding. The staff were courteous and professional and made our guests very comfortable. They even offer umbrellas for guests if it gets too hot on the roof! They also offer champagne/sparkling water and take away food for guests to add a nice touch. Highly recommend!

We had our wedding at Malaparte on August 10, 2018, and I couldn’t be happier that we selected this venue. Their staff was incredibly helpful leading up to the day of the wedding, and was instrumental in ensuring that the day went smoothly. The venue management staff that were there were very helpful and accommodating, and the day couldn’t have happened without their support. The waitstaff were also incredibly professional. And don’t even get me started on the food…it was so DELICIOUS! The food was truly amazing and so tasty, with great portion sizes. The dinner part of our wedding truly felt like a 5-star restaurant experience. We got so many compliments from guests saying it was the best wedding food they ever had. Malaparte was the most beautiful backdrop for our wedding and I’d highly recommend getting married here.

I had so many compliments about using Malaparte as my reception space. My guests especially loved the outdoor rooftop tented portion! Everything was well placed and there was no need for a lot of decorations because they place was already so beautiful on its own! A nice little touch was that guests order food the night of, so there was no need for place cards.

The only complaint I have is that if you are doing any dress or make upchanges, they do not have a separate room for that. I was disappointed to find out that I had to change in the bathroom (where guests were coming in and out) after I signed the contract (the previous event specialist assured me I could use a room in the condo adjacent to Malaparte). For the amount we paid for this venue, I expected a better solution.

Malaparte was an incredible venue that blew away all of our guests! We absolutely loved dealing with them and are so happy we had our wedding there. They were very accommodating with any requests. We held our ceremony and reception at Malaparte and were extremely pleased with the result. The space is beautiful, both indoors and out, and the food was spectacular. Multiple guests contacted us after the fact to tell us how much they loved the food, with those getting the vegetarian option saying it was the best vegetarian meal they had ever had. The Osso Buco was also out of this world.

The staff were professional, and it was very helpful having a responsive point person to go to with questions during the planning stages. We really appreciated having a one stop shop for ceremony and reception, as well as for catering, staff and rentals. Malaparte took care of all of this for us.

One thing we didn't like was that only two meals were covered as part of the tasting. We were trying to decide between a few different meal options and ended up having to pay extra to taste those two additional dishes. In the end it was worth it because it did allow us to decide on our final items, but we strongly felt this should have been included as part of the cost.

One thing we didn't realize when we signed with Malaparte is that we didn't have to ask guests to choose their meals in advance, which was amazing. Guests were able to choose from our pre-selected options on the day of. We thought this made it a much classier affair because guests were presented with menus when they sat down and they could decide based on the meal descriptions rather than just choosing "chicken", "fish" or "beef". It also made the invitations easier, and eliminated the need for table place cards. We thought this was something O&B should highlight moving forward, as we were thrilled to learn this after the fact.

Overall we were extremely pleased with our experience working with Malaparte and would highly recommend them to others who are looking for a really special ceremony/reception location and rave-worthy food.

Stunning event space, I was thrilled to book it. My wedding day ran perfectly smoothly thanks to the fantastic event team, who were smiling and on top of it the whole night. The lead up was equally well organised and managed by a dedicated event manager. They even accommodated my crazy idea to lay turf and have a croquet match! Canapés and dinner was divine, and closing out the night was hassle free.

We held both the wedding ceremony and the reception at Malaparte (6th floor Tiff Bell Lightbox). The venue was beautiful, the food was exceptional and the service was great! We worked with both Kristen and Nicole who were both a pleasure to work with. They were prompt in their emails and made sure we were well looked after. They were also very quick to help us with any last minute changes. Our guests could not stop talking about how great the venue and food were. Definitely recommend checking out the venue and if you are lucky enough to secure the date, do it!
