  Great Food and Staff

  The food provided at our wedding was varied yet classic and delicious. The staff members were incredibly helpful and were fantastic to our guests. Our guests complimented us on how nice the staff was and how easy they were to work with, as well as complimentary of the food. Would recommend.

  Colin was fantastic to work with and made sure everything ran smoothly on the day of the event. We got many compliments on the food (we chose the hors d’oeuvres and buffet options) and an open bar with champagne. The courtyard was a beautiful setting for the ceremony, and felt very secluded and private. Highly recommended for smaller weddings such as ours, which had 35 guests!

  Beautiful Setting

  Overall, we had a very good experience with Sage. The wedding day itself was great, along with the food and the service during the reception. The setting is beautiful on the UBC campus with the North Shore mountains in the background.

  Exceptional, Venue, Food, and Staff

  Working with the Sage team for our wedding was an absolute dream. Our coordinator Michael was very responsive, flexible, and understanding. Every question we had was answered quickly and with expertise, making the planning much easier than we anticipated. We also had quite a few guests with dietary restrictions, and Chef Meyer was extremely flexible with different options for accommodating everyone. The venue itself was gorgeous even on a rainy day, and the food and drinks were some of the best we have ever had at a wedding. They worked seamlessly with all of our vendors, so from the bride and groom perspective the day was simply perfect. We could not have hoped for a better experience than what we had at Sage and can highly recommend it.

  Mega venue service in an intimate setting

  The staff at Sage were extremely accommodating of our requests and were very flexible on issues of timing and access, which made our event very easy to plan and to execute. They were always accessible by phone and email, and communicated clearly. On the day of, they took care of everything from setup, to signage, to takedown; we didn't have to lift a finger or worry about anything. The food was delicious and the setting was perfect.

  Amazing!

  Sage was amazing. Food was great, we walked in and there were high tables with white cloth, white chairs, everything set up, much nicer than anticipated. The area was beautiful, with red/yellow/green leaves all over with a beautiful pond. Staff was AMAZING, super professional and kind, everyone at the wedding enjoyed themselves. We booked the ideas lounge, it was perfect. absolutely perfect. bride walked out of bridal room with long walkway, then we had lunch indoors with big windows open with access to garden. Thanks again Sage staff!

  We held our wedding at Sage Catering's Ideas Lounge, right next to UBC's Rose Garden, and we can't praise this venue enough! Alita, our Event Coordinator, was truly fantastic to work with, making everything easy and enjoyable. The venue itself is stunning, blending mid-century architecture with a warm and inviting atmosphere.
  
  The highlight was undoubtedly the food – our guests couldn't stop talking about it. We opted for the buffet menu.
  
  The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring our guests had a great time.
  
  Sage made our wedding truly unforgettable. We highly recommend it for any special event!

  Sage's service was beyond amazing. Colin, their coordinator for our wedding planning and day, was SO kind, and helpful. He was always there for us when we had doubts, questions, and he always had a quick solution in mind! We had our ceremony and reception at Sage, and both things were simply perfect. Guests were so comfortable and had so many good comments about the wedding that I was amazed. Food was super good! The drinks were great as well. They had a variety of selections that made it easy for us to decide based on what we really wanted. It was simply, special. If you are thinking on hiring Sage, you just have to!

  Highly Recommended!

  Sage was such a beautiful venue for our July wedding! Jessalyn was our coordinator, and she did such an amazing job coordinating all the details with us. She was super responsive and always made sure our questions/concerns were addressed in a timely manner. Our guests loved the patio (when they wanted some fresh air), and the venue layout worked really well for our headcount (approx 100 people). The food was amazing, and the staff were all super friendly. Definitely would recommend!
