Amazing Venue, Food, and Staff!

Dominique and the entire team at the Nash were incredible to work with. All of our wedding guests commented on how smooth the day went, how wonderful the servers and bartenders were, and of course how fantastic the food and cocktails were. The venue was also perfectly suited to accommodate our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dance without compromise.

We also want to make a special shout out to Dominque who has so much experience that she literally has an answer for every question you might have. She added so much value and made us feel super comfortable that everything was going to be taken care of.

Oh So Smooth

We really recommend The Nash Restaurant for your full wedding event.

On a Saturday in August 2024 we had our daughter's wedding at The Nash.
The venue was ideal for our needs. Our guest list was about 80 people. We had the wedding ceremony, the cocktail reception, the dinner and speeches, and the celebratory dances and party at the single location. Our event started with the wedding at 4:30 and then bingo, it it was 1:00 am!

The Catering and Events Manager Dominique is awesome. She worked closely with the bride over a period of about 6 weeks on all of the details. And several "special requests" were included.

The venue was ideal for our needs. Our guest list was about 80 people. We had the wedding ceremony, the cocktail reception, the dinner and speeches, and the celebratory dances and party at the single location. Our event started with the wedding at 4:30 and then bingo, it it was 1:00 am!

On wedding day everything was "oh so smooth". Dominique runs the event.
Her command of what it takes to change the inside of The Nash from a wedding site to a reception, then to a dining facility and finally to a dance floor while also insuring the meal is served hot and in a timely basis is a real advantage. The use of the single facility means guests can interact with each other for the entire event without having to drive to different places.

Our dinner meal was served family style to each table. There were options for each course which enabled guests to choose and enjoy what they wanted to eat. And late in the evening, as the dancing ended, there was mac n' cheese and sliders for the ride home.

We are ever so pleased with the way the event unfolded. It certainly was memorable. Chef Noble and Dominique really care about their customer and deliver a high-quality experience.

August wedding at the Nash restaurant and bar

We had an amazing experience having our wedding at the Nash. We elected to do our ceremony out in the mountains and had a big dinner party and reception afterwards at the Nash. From the get go, Dominique and her team were amazing to work with. Whatever special requests we had for menu items, 3rd party vendor requirements, or seating plan/extra guests were easily accomodated. Dominique is very good at her job and made everything very easy to do on our end. While I was stressed about my wedding day, none of it was related to the events at the Nash because I knew Dominique had literally everything covered down to the smallest details, including that we forgot to...

While I was stressed about my wedding day, none of it was related to the events at the Nash because I knew Dominique had literally everything covered down to the smallest details, including that we forgot to make a wedding playlist--and she made one for us last minute! Dominique and her team took care of setting up decorations for us so we just had to show up to the party on the day of. Can't say enough good things about how easy the experience was and how special they made it by catering to all of our requests. Service was phenomenal, as always. Food was the best. The venue itself is very elegant and didn't even need much for decorations. We are so happy we went with the Nash for our wedding celebrations and would do it again for an anniversary party in a heart beat. Great value for the price in terms of the quality of food, service and planning that you get.

One Amazing Day!

The Nash and OffCut Bar hosted our small-ish cocktail reception Ceremony and Wedding at the end of July and to say that it was the easiest, most beautiful and fun day is a completely gross understatement! From the initial meeting with Dominique we knew that this was the right venue for our wedding! The restaurant is not only gorgeous, and the food outstanding but working with Dominque was like dream! Absolutely amazing!

In one word-wow! The Nash truly went above and beyond to create the most magical wedding day we could have ever asked for. Dominique was extremely easy to work with, very flexible and prompt with replies to any questions we had a long the way. The planning stages were fun and enjoyable, and we knew we would be in great hands. The day itself was perfect in every way, and no detail was missed. From the venue itself, the staff, the food, the drinks, the decor, the vibe were absolutely impeccable. Multiple people told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to! Dominque handled everything to make sure our wedding day was easy and stress free....

Everything about our experience was amazing and we would do it again in a heartbeat!

Our experience with Dominique and the Nash was amazing. The planning, service, food, drinks and value were all top notch. I highly recommend using the Nash for a wedding or another type of celebration/event. They were willing to work with us 100% and made us feel like our event was extra special. The Nash is one of the best restaurants in Calgary in terms of food, drinks and quality of service.

An unforgettable and joyous experience for everyone!

We recently had our wedding at The Nash, both the ceremony and reception, and we couldn’t be happier with how it went! Our two main priorities for our wedding was for the food and drinks to be good and for us and our guests to have fun and The Nash completely blew away our expectations. From our first meeting, the events coordinator for The Nash, Dominique, was enthusiastic and instrumental in helping us plan our event. She is extremely responsive over email, phone, and in-person. Because of the beauty of The Nash, we didn’t need to buy any additional décor other than our flowers and signs; The Nash was also able to provide us with an easel, card box,...

From our first meeting, the events coordinator for The Nash, Dominique, was enthusiastic and instrumental in helping us plan our event. She is extremely responsive over email, phone, and in-person. Because of the beauty of The Nash, we didn’t need to buy any additional décor other than our flowers and signs; The Nash was also able to provide us with an easel, card box, and table candles to borrow. Dominique worked with us to ensure we stayed within our budget, despite rising food costs across the country. You do not need a separate day-of coordinator for your wedding if you work with Dominique, as she timed everything during our wedding perfectly, managed our more dramatic family members, and even met with our MC before the wedding to ensure he was prepared.

If you’ve dined at The Nash before, it goes without saying that the food and drinks are incredible and all of our guests agreed. The staff easily accommodated dietary restrictions, ensured not a glass got below halfway filled, and were quick to swoop in if someone dropped a fork. We’ve had so many guests tell us that ours was one of the best weddings they’ve ever attended because of the quality of service provided by everyone at The Nash. We have to agree! We are crossing our fingers that we can attend another wedding at The Nash in the future, but in the mean time, we love that can go to the restaurant to continue reminiscing about our wedding!

We loved our wedding at the Nash!

Our wedding at the Nash was absolutely perfect. The food was incredible, and the service was also fantastic. Dominique (the venue coordinator at the Nash) was so great as well. She made our job of planning the wedding so much easier, and on our day took care of any troubleshooting or issues that arose. I highly recommend the Nash if you are looking for a venue for your wedding.

L+D 2022 Wedding at The Nash Restaurant

My husband and I had both our civil wedding ceremony (6 people) and large wedding (180 people) at The Nash Restaurant. Both experiences were fantastic; the food was excellent, the cocktails were perfect, and the staff were amazing.

For our larger wedding, the event coordinator at The Nash met with us multiple times to walk us through the venue, brainstorm decor ideas, and discuss menu/logistics. We were also treated to a free meal and drinks at each meeting, which was a very nice touch.

We wanted an intimate ceremony and sit down dinner (50 people), followed by a large reception with passed appetizers, wine/prosecco stations, and cocktails (180 people). The venue flip from ceremony, to sit...

My husband and I had both our civil wedding ceremony (6 people) and large wedding (180 people) at The Nash Restaurant. Both experiences were fantastic; the food was excellent, the cocktails were perfect, and the staff were amazing.

For our larger wedding, the event coordinator at The Nash met with us multiple times to walk us through the venue, brainstorm decor ideas, and discuss menu/logistics. We were also treated to a free meal and drinks at each meeting, which was a very nice touch.

We wanted an intimate ceremony and sit down dinner (50 people), followed by a large reception with passed appetizers, wine/prosecco stations, and cocktails (180 people). The venue flip from ceremony, to sit down dinner, to reception for 180 wasn't easy, but The Nash executed perfectly!

They also had a ton of staff on hand at all times to take coats, help with the photo guest book, and serve. I don't think anyone went more than 3 minutes without a refreshed drink in their hand!

Our vendors (florals, rentals, DJ, live musician) had no issues communicating with the venue, setting up, and getting whatever they needed.

We received glowing feedback from our guests on the quality and execution of the food (dinner, passed appetizers, dessert, and late night snack), cocktails, and the seamless flow of the day/evening.

If you're a self-proclaimed foodie and want to give your wedding guests and unforgettable experience, I highly recommend The Nash Restaurant!
