Sisters Fumi and Himi started the company, Davie & Chiyo, based in Vancouver, in 2008. Since then, the staff has grown to offer brides creative, delicate and beautiful pieces, using as much local materials as possible. With lush silk, decadent beading, airy chiffon and delicate lace you will feel like a princess on your special day!

Experience

The Vancouver sisters, Fumi and Himi, began their business as a hobby through Etsy. One graduated from business school, while the other one was a stay-at-home mom. Now, after several years, the clutch-creating duo has grown into a studio with many skilled people. Fumi is the designer and production manager, while Himi is the jewellery designer. The team also have April (the marketing and social media manager), Alisa (the customer service and shipping manager), and Rena and Michiyo (seamstresses).
