The AGO was the perfect wedding venue! We were completely blown away by the staff's level of professionalism and attention to detail, ensuring every part of our day went seamlessly. No detail was left behind.

The AGO coordinators worked diligently with us and our wedding planners to ensure everything was attended to. We could not think of any slip ups from the day. From the event coordination (which was logistically complicated with room flips and short time windows to make it all happen), to the incredible service and culinary staff - I don't think we could have asked for a better team to put it all together. Everyone was so professional, kind, accommodating, and extremely hard working. You are in great hands hosting your event at the AGO!

Originally set to get married at the AGO September 26, 2020 but because of COVID, we had to postpone twice and finally got married on December 18, 2021. I can honestly say that it was worth the wait and I am so glad that we persevered with the AGO, instead of choosing to get married elsewhere at an earlier time. Despite getting married in the middle of a pandemic, the AGO event coordinator, Jennifer, was still able to plan our perfect wedding, with no aspect feeling like a compromise to accommodate for COVID restrictions (despite the event following all Ontario mandated safety protocols).

Jennifer made the planning processes easy and was very responsive to our emails and questions. We were able to choose how our ceremony location (Galleria Italia) and reception area (Walker Court) looked and were arranged, depending on how we wanted guests seated. Chef Felicia, event chef of the AGO, created a completely custom 5 course dinner for us, as well as our wedding cake, sweet table, and hot chocolate bar, that was a seamless and delicious blend of our mixed Italian and Chinese heritages. I cannot stress enough how delicious the food was - our guests told us the food tasted like high end restaurant food and that our dinner was unlike any meal they've had at any other wedding before. The AGO also created two signature cocktails for us that our guests loved!

The day of was seamless and so stress-free. My husband and I arrived at the AGO a few hours before the ceremony to take photos around the gallery, which was an absolute highlight to me. Security followed us to ensure rooms and hallways were clear for us to use and that we had access to everything we needed for the perfect shot. As guests were being escorted to Galleria Italia for the ceremony, they got to walk through The Canadian Collection and privately view an area of the gallery usually teeming with visitors. The Thomson Collection of Ship Models was also on view to our guests, as it was near the washrooms. During dinner, the event staff were all extremely professional, and so many of my guests remarked on how in sync everyone was with each other (i.e., when placing food).

Despite the two postponements, I would 100% do it all again to get married at the AGO. It was the most perfect experience for me, and I know all of my guests were totally blown away by the entire event as well. My wedding felt like the MET Gala Toronto edition (LOL but I'm a bit biased ;) ).

It's been over a month since our wedding at the AGO, and we're still on a post-wedding high. Our experience working with the AGO has been flawless from start to finish.

First and foremost, a special thank you to Tricia. She was simply the best, and was critical throughout the entire planning process and on the wedding night. She provided accurate cost estimates, helped us shape our vision, and was very responsive and accommodating throughout.

The venue and staff were outstanding and executed everything seamlessly. The beauty of the architecture speaks for itself, Galleria Italia and Walker Court were stunning for our ceremony/reception. Chef crafted an impeccable menu and we received rave reviews of the food. The staff was highly professional and friendly, and ensured the entire night went smoothly.

Bottom line, we would not hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone looking to plan a memorable night with their loved ones: the team and the venue are the best of the best.

What is more special than getting married at an art gallery??! AGO truly gave us the wedding that we have dreamt of. We are blessed to get married at AGO (also where my husband and I went on our first date). Jennifer and Eliz did an outstanding in regards to organizing the wedding with our wedding planner. The galleria Italia at the AGO is the most stunning and unique venue for a wedding reception. Jennifer made the entire process from start to finish very easy and stress free. The staff was very professional and service was outstanding ! Our guests were very impressed with how attentive the servers were. Food was phenomenal and the Chef customized a menu just for us to incorporate both our cultures. Our guests got to enjoy some of the galleries around the room which was an added bonus. It’s been 3 weeks since our wedding and our guests are still raving about how amazing everything was. We are forever grateful to Jennifer for making our dream come true !

We selected the AGO for our venue back in 2019. The team was supportive as we had to shift our wedding date multiple times due to Covid. We finally had our wedding and to say it was everything we dreamed of would be an understatement - Jennifer and the whole AGO team went above and beyond making sure every last detail was considered. The food was incredible, the evening progressed smoothly, and taking photos throughout the gallery was incredibly special. I would recommend the AGO 100x over as the perfect wedding venue.

Our daughter's wedding was on June 24th and the AGO was the perfect venue. Right from our first visit to see the site, throughout the planning and on the wedding day , Jennifer was very professional, attentive and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious and the chef made wonderful suggestions to incorporate our tastes. On the day of the wedding, we were treated with the utmost care. We had a wonderful area to relax during the pictures and the service all day long was impeccable. The elevator operators even took great pictures of our guests as they rode the elevator to Baillie Court. I recommend the AGO as a wedding venue very, very highly. They ensured our daughter's wedding vision was realized without one hiccup and I am sure that it will be same for all brides. We were absolutely thrilled with everything. Jennifer was such a pleasure to work with.

AGO is a fantastic wedding venue. Walker Court and Baillie Court are phenomenal sites, and the management is very flexible and cooperative in helping you implement your decorations and design elements. Our coordinator (Jennifer) and banquet manager (Darren) were thoughtful, thorough and patient, and the day-of staff at the AGO are absolutely incredible. Everyone was professional, organized and attentive. As cliche as it sounds, the AGO has exceeded our expectation in every way. We cannot recommend this venue highly enough!
