Facilities and capacity

This event centre offers soon-to-be-married couples fantastic facilities for your big day. These include 6 event spaces 4 indoor and 2 outdoor. Which are the Trillium (300 seated guests), Park View (140 guests), Windsor (60 guests) and Imperial (550 guests). Our breath taking outdoor spaces are Garden tent (100 guests) and our Conservation Green House. They all include a coat check, washrooms, bars, kitchens, VIP suite and great views of the surrounding areas.

Services offered

This venue offers couples the chance to celebrate both their ceremony and reception in the same location. They offer winter and Friday weddings, and the latter typically includes services such as set up & clean up, catering/bar and event planning.

Cuisine

The Friday Wedding Package also includes a premium select bar with your favourite drinks and an hour long cocktail reception with hot & cold hors d'oeuvres. The reception dinner includes a pasta dish, main entrée, dessert, late night stations and a walking tacos station.

Utter disappointment with the service ☹︯☹︯☹︯

Ascott Parc is a beautiful venue with breathtaking waterfall behind the gazebo, several photo op areas, delicious food and drinks. Unfortunately all of this was severely overshadowed by the lack of service and professionalism. Their shortcoming was so unbelievably terrible that our DJ/MC and officiants felt the need to step up and take on their roles to ensure our wedding went smoothly and according to plan. One of the main reasons we chose Ascott Parc as our venue was the services they promised. They promised us they would be there with us every step of the way, leading up to the wedding date and on the day of. Unfortunately to our surprise, our emails were not answered for weeks and months. Months after no response, I finally received an email indicating that there was a staff change. The email address they provided for the new staff was not valid as the email I sent bounced back. When I sent the email again days after the new employees start date, I finally received responses. There was absolutely no help leading up to the wedding from answering questions to helping us plan as they promised.

On the rehearsal date, the venue supervisor/coordinator completely left us on our own to do our own rehearsal. I’ve been to several wedding rehearsals as a bridesmaid and I have never seen such lack of care for the bride and groom. I had to step up and run the rehearsal with my bridal party from what I gathered at my friends’ wedding rehearsals. When we got to the venue to rehearse our ceremony, we were told to get out of the way by the photographer and a couple. We called our venue supervisor only to find out they had a double booking. I complained to the venue supervisor that we were frustrated and all I got back was “We have everything under control, you’re too stressed. You’re stressing me out”.

I had my husband call the venue supervisor days before the wedding to ensure everything will go well and the venue supervisor told him that we have his word. His word resulted in not showing up when the decorators arrived the morning of, our officiants and DJ cueing us in for the ceremony and reception, photographer advising us of the ripped carpet for the ceremony walkway, MC letting us know of the kitchen delay instead of the venue supervisor.

I hope the venue can learn from our experience so that no one else has to go through what we went through. If it weren’t for our wonderful vendors, our wedding would have gone very differently.

For Such A Great Venue, It's A Shame To See An Arrogant Owner Owns It.

I wanted to take this moment and provide a review on behalf of a family member of mine who recently got married here. I'd like to start off by saying, for a venue that is this stunning, the management and/or the owner is absolutely disgusting. One of my cousins decided to proceed with their event in the midst of Covid-19 and personally being a soon to be bride myself, I would only imagine vendors and venues would be such compassionate during these times. A few weeks prior to the event happening, my cousin and her fiancé decided to reach out to Melanie in regards to their event to make some changes to the contract due to government restrictions. They were advised to speak with a gentleman named Ash (who is the owner of Ascott Parc, is my understanding) in regards to this situation. Ash is an extremely arrogant individual who is full of himself and belittles his clients like chump change. It's not easy for young couples to splurge $15,000 - $25,000 but couples do it because it's their once in the life time opportunity to get married. But Ash is a special breed of human being. When my cousin and her fiancé connected with Ash and simply asked how they could go about cancelling their event due to Covid-19, he wasn't even close to sympathetic to them. His first response was "Oh, you can't do that. If you want to cancel, you'll have to pay for the whole event or I'll take you to court." When they had shared this news with the family (us), I was shocked. After discussing with the family, they tried to reach out to Ash to rectify this situation and come to terms that they would proceed with Ascott Parc but abide by Government regulations. Even then, he simply showed no interest as he would be losing revenue overall, he basically suggested them to push off their event to the following year when things clear up with Covid-19 (I mean who does this or says this to a couple). I couldn’t believe what I was hearing and seeing what the couple was going through. After a number of tries of attempting, they finally got Ash to agree with the Covid-19 government regulations and provide them with an amended contract. Days later they compared their contracts with another family member of ours from last year and realized that the pricing that was provided were absurdly higher and unreasonable (numbers were just placed randomly that made no sense for the service being provided). At that point, they just gave up and called it a day and wanted their event to be over with. I felt so bad for them which made me want to provide this review and let future clients and couples who are getting married or thinking of getting married at this venue to re-think and ask yourself “if this is the type of experience you want to go through prior to your big day.” Ash, you a despicable human being and should not be in the hospitality industry. If this business were to fail, I’m sure it would be because of your failure to understand what couples deserve and how they should be treated.

On a positive note, my cousin and her fiancé were connected with a representative that works there who took care of the logistics. The way how he treated them was a day and night difference. If you are considering to proceed with this venue, go see Jay from Ascott Parc if you want to somewhat experience a headache free experience (I can’t promise that Ash won’t get in the way, but if he does, just ignore his ignorant ass and what he has to say and focus on your event).
