Having our wedding at Bel acres was the best decision we could have made. The planning process was simple and having almost all vendors go through the venue as part of our package allowed us to make decisions and then relax and hand off the follow-up and execution. All of the final details were communicated 2 weeks before the event which allowed us to relax and enjoy seeing our guests prior to the big day without any stress. Last minute our signage fell through and Amanda with bel acres made us a welcome sign and table chart the night before which perfectly matched the menus and table numbers they created as well.

The grounds are stunning. The ceremony space with mature trees and perfect landscaping wowed our guests and the indoor/outdoor spaces in the clubhouse created different spaces for guests of all ages to feel comfortable throughout the entire event.

Amanda was responsive and kind from the first day of planning all the way through the wedding day. She was there from 8:00am when the girls arrived in the bridal cottage with coffee champagne and treats already set out, checking in with me and the wedding parties for food and drinks, and allowing me to check on the decor set up and tweak anything I mentioned to her. She ensured the days timeline was followed and stayed until 1:00am when we left. Anytime we had a question or a random guests request (including drunk kareoke) she made it happen.

All the staff working the event were happy, fast, and lovely to chat with. Guests didn’t have to wait in lines or want for anything.

The entire experience was amazing and my husband and I both agreed we would not change a single thing about the day. That statement was made true by Bel Acres!

Bel Acres was an amazing venue for our wedding. The new ceremony space, amazing patio, and reception room were all beautiful and provided fantastic locations for our guests. The patio especially was an amazing spot for attendees to enjoy a cocktail and snacks. In addition, the bridal cottage was a great spot for the wedding party to chill and have some snacks as we we waited for the ceremony to start. Our guests all commented on how much they loved the physical space.

With a wedding already being so busy and stressful to plan, we really appreciated how Bel Acres did everything for us. It was so helpful to have them do little things, like print menus, seating charts, and place cards; amongst other things that we would have had to find someone else to do for us. They have numerous vendors that provided all of the services that we needed, such as decor, an officiant, and DJ.

Bel Acres' wedding planner, Amanda, was amazing. She helped to prepare so many of the details of the wedding that we might have forgotten or struggled to do. She was there for the entire evening to ensure things were running smoothly and to ensure that everything was up to our specifications. She was flexible and helped us to create the vision for our wedding that we wanted, such as having an ice cream bar for dessert instead of a traditional option.

Overall, we recommend Bel Acres to everyone. They are a fantastic venue to work with, the views are spectacular, and our reception was a blast. Our wedding was fantastic and we owe a lot of that to the venue and the wedding planner.

*We recommend getting a shuttle for your guests, as ours was very popular and our attendees enjoyed the experience.

We had the most amazing experience getting married at Bel Acres, there wasn’t a hiccup in our wedding day and we got so many compliments on how beautiful our day was. The food was fantastic, the decor was identical to how I pictured it, Amanda the coordinator was fantastic to work with throughout the process and communication was always a breeze. They were flexible with our needs. Pricing was phenomenal and we were shocked at our final bill with how low the cost was for how great everything was! We highly recommend this venue!

We held our wedding at Bel Acres a few weeks ago. We were promised many things that they did not deliver on. We do not feel that we were given the level of service that was promised or that was paid for. The staff at bel acres is NOT willing to work with us to ensure we are happy or even pleased. Please, do not have your wedding here unless your wedding wish is to be disappointed.

This is just a hint at what went wrong on our wedding day because of Bel Acres and their staff. If this is how my wedding went, I can’t imagine which requests and wishes of others they won’t deem worthy of fulfilling after the making of promises....

We began planning with them in February. The clubhouse was going through a large winter renovation but the event planner Camalee helped us to see their vision and we had faith in her and what the end result would be. Everything at first seemed perfect, they dealt with and provided almost every vender and service at a surprisingly decent cost for a wedding. The outdoor ceremony was beautiful.

Slowly over the months due to Covid-19 many things were changed, they removed services while the price remained largely the same. They were not very helpful at easing our stress during this time, only adding to it. With only a week left until the wedding they forced us to cut half of our guests when the province was still allowing more than we had asked for. They claimed it was due to the fact that they felt the space wasn’t large enough to social distance in with that number of people. When we got there on our wedding day, there was so much space we could’ve fit at least 75 people distanced. If not the full government mandated 100! We understand that Covid is not Bel Acres fault and some of the changes they made had to happen. But they did not deal with them or telling us about them well. They also made their own changes and rules that did not make sense.

We were rushed through our wedding rehearsal and a waitress spilt a drink on a bridesmaid with no apology. The bar did not know what an old fashioned or vermouth was. Never mind being able to make it.

On the day of the wedding we had many issues but we lived through them with the intention of discussing them with the event planner within the next days only to learn she had been let go after the wedding. We cannot help but wonder if that could be because she performed so poorly while planning our wedding.

We were not given food we were promised, food and drinks were often very late causing other things to be late including the ceremony. Servers for drinks were almost unseen during the day. Guests had to go to the bar themselves to get drinks which we were told ahead of time would not be allowed. The servers were all chatting around the bar instead of being out serving our guests. As the bride, I was offered a drink once in 5 hours. There was other events going on in a building we had been told would be private and reserved only for us. We specifically requested sparkling wine for the whole day and the employees told us they were specifically told not to bring any in. The rooms they had the wedding party get ready and wait in before the ceremony were crowded and full of renovation supplies. They stunk like the sewer. After the wedding we were told there was a second location we could’ve been waiting in that would hopefully not of smelt but we’re not offered a choice between them before hand. We brought a few items for the wedding to the rehearsal and asked our planner what she thought we should do with them at the time and she told us she could take them and hold them in our office until the next day when she would do the necessary things with them. One of them was the pen we had specifically for signing our marriage license. During the ceremony we noticed the pen was not there and we were very anxious as to someone in the crowd needing to have a pen. Thankfully someone did however that is not a smooth situation.

Where do I even begin to describe the amazing and absolutely mind-blowing experience we had. Taryn and her stuff were so easy to work with, they were helpful and caring. They looked after all of our needs, responded to all and every question, want and whim of the bride (and groom). They never said no to anything, it was always, let’s see what we can do. Always smiling, always responsive, always friendly. They were with us throughout the entire process, helping, suggesting, and even helping with things that were not their responsibility. The entire venue was beautiful, they worked with our schedule, including when we had to decorate the rooms and stayed extra time when needed. After the wedding was over they collected all of our items for us and placed them carefully in the corner for pick up the next day. Also, they were the ones to put up all the linens and bows and what not, it was just amazing, I am could not be happier to work with them. P.S. We also had specialized desserts for my hubby and I and they were amazing. Thank you Bel Acres and it’s staff!

The best wedding decision we made was deciding to book at Bel Acres. Amanda and the staff were absolutely amazing to deal with. Every question and request we had was answered with a yes we can do that no problem. Our day was a breeze with no issues whatsoever (or if there was both me and my husband had no idea about it). Amanda was so attentive to all the details and making sure the venue was set up exactly how we wanted it. The food was amazing, the bartenders were more than attentive to all the drink orders. It was perfect having all the vendors reach out to us and Bel Acres making arrangements for everything to be delivered/picked up. It made wedding planning so less stressful. I can’t thank the staff and Amanda specifically enough for making all of our wedding dreams come true. It was the best day ever!

We got married at Bel Acres in mid-September 2023 and it was truly amazing! The best choice we could have made. Having an all inclusive package took so much stress off of us. All the vendors were organized through Bel Acres and were great to work with. This took a ton of stress off our shoulders of having to find and organize our own vendors, not to mention how much value there is in their packages. The best part of all is the wedding coordinator Amanda. She is simply sensational. She answered all our questions and accommodated our every request. The day of the wedding she was there before we arrived and was still there when we left at 1am. She made sure every minute of our day was executed exactly as we envisioned. We were able to relax and enjoy our day knowing she had everything under control and for that we are so grateful. Even when the dinner started late, she adjusted and the food came out hot and delicious. Huge kudos to her and her team. We have zero regrets booking with Bel Acres and neither will you!

On June 24, 2023 we got married at Bel Acres and we could not have asked for a better venue/ experience!

From day one (august 2022) when we reached out to inquire about having our wedding at Bel acres we were treated with professionalism by everyone onsite, and we were taken great care of by Amanda (onsite event coordinator).

They assisted everything we wanted with such enthusiasm(bringing Guinness onsite and coordinating with all our vendors), and everything we didn’t think of, they took care of and made beautiful (wedding menus and table numbers etc)!

We continue to receive compliments on the food, bar and ceremony space and I, as the bride cannot get over how perfect the bridal cottage was for 1) getting ready in and 2) hiding out in till my husband was going to see me for the first time walking down the aisle.

Amanda was so helpful with all of our last minute changes (few last minute people saying they were no longer able to attend) and through all the ups and downs in watching the weather in the lead up to the wedding, she assured us of the back up plan which kept us calm and able to focus on what we wanted to.

Ultimately, we were so fortunate with weather, guests, dance floor and all the joy and love a wedding could bring and we would definitely recommend people consider Bel Acres as a beautiful wedding venue.

We initially were booked at a different venue, but due to the pandemic we had to switch our date leading to us needing to find a new venue. Amanda made planning go so smoothly, she was very quick at responding to any of my questions, and she kept me on task with planning. The decor ended up being exactly what I envisioned, simple rustic chic. The grounds were beautiful and they let us get around on golf carts. The "get ready" house was perfect, we had access all day and it made getting ready so much easier to be right on site. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone searching. The price we paid was roughly the same of the other venue we were originally booked at but Bel Acres offered us WAY more for our money. Huge thank you to Amanda again !
