We were married there May 21 2022
First and foremost, I cannot say enough good things about Barb Timms! We were married the day of the big storm. Barb and her staff didn't break a sweat and they pulled off our wedding without a hitch! Despite having no Hydro the day was seamless for my husband and I as well as all of our guests!
Everyone raved about the food and the accommodations. The whole experience leading up to the wedding was a pleasure as well. I would recommend Black Diamond to anyone!
Barb deserves a raise! I cannot imagine how stressed she was trying to pull it all together after one of the biggest storms on record.

Wedding Review
Barb and her staff at Black Diamond were so friendly from the first day we toured the venue to our actual wedding day. They answered any questions our guests had throughout the night and were super accommodating to get us set up for both an indoor or outdoor ceremony in case the weather was rainy. We opted for inside and they made our ceremony space look beyond beautiful. We received so many compliments from guests on how spacious the venue was, as well as how delicious the food was. I cannot recommend Black Diamond enough if you are looking to have your wedding or special event here. Barb was beyond helpful throughout our entire wedding process and helped us with anything we needed. We were blown away with how beautiful our reception space looked when we walked in on our wedding day. The venus itself is stunning and again, the amount of compliments we received were endless. It was such a magical day and I wish we could relive it over and over again! Thank you Black Diamond for making our special day truly one to remember.

Perfect Day
Barb and her team were fantastic. Everything was absolutely perfect, from our first initial meeting, all the way till the end of the night. Barb was responsive, and all the details that I didn't even think about, she did and made the day so amazing. Her and Diana decorated the room so beautifully, everything was amazing - did I mention it was amazing?! The team at BD does it all for you - they really take all the stress out of wedding planning. It was truly the best day, and it couldn't have been possible without Barb and the whole team at BD. I wish I could get married again, just so I could work with Barb once more!!

The Perfect Wedding
We were so pleased and grateful for our wedding experience at Black Diamond. They were well prepared for any situation and did everything to ensure that all guests were happy. The food was amazing. The service was professional and quick. The venue itself was gorgeous and provided the perfect opportunity for beautiful photos. Decor was set up, taken down and taken care of throughout the evening.

Exceptional wedding venue, staff, and food! - June 2023
It was an obvious "YES" to have our wedding at Black Diamond right from our first meeting with Barb. The staff at Black Diamond were exceptional from beginning to end. The grounds, outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour space, and indoor reception area are stunning. We received compliments from our guests about the plethora of delicious food and desserts, the beauty of Black Diamond, the kind serving staff and the bartenders, and the relaxing feel of the whole day. We didn't have to worry about anything - from food, to alcohol, to decor, to set up and take down - Black Diamond took care of it all, and provided lots of options and were extremely accomodating throughout the process. We can not thank Barb and all the staff at Black Diamond enough for helping to create a well-organized, stress-free, dream wedding day. Having our wedding at Black Diamond was worth every penny, plus much more!

Fantastic!
If you are reading this review, you NEED to book a meeting with Barb ASAP. This is a HIDDEN GEM of a venue. I got married there this past weekend. All of my guests are raving about the food and Barb herself. Out of all the venues we say, Black Diamond was the only one who asked us how we wanted our wedding day to look. Everything was fairly customizable. It truly is a one-stop shop for anything you might need for your wedding from food, to alcohol, a decorator (who is also a florist), recommended DJ, and even an officiant! Even our photographer said she had never been to a venue as great as black diamond! Having Barb there on your wedding day means you can just sit back and enjoy the entirety of your wedding. We ran ahead of our planned schedule and were able to relax and chat with all our guests and eat everything we had on the menu! nothing was rushed, we got to dance the night away, the pictures look fantastic and we took our time to get a lot! As I said if you're still reading this do yourself a favour and go meet Barb and her team ASAP!

Excellent venue, people, and value
We were parents of the bride and took part in working with Barb prior to the wedding. Her experience planning and preparing weddings is so obvious. Although this is clearly a business, she focusses so much on making her customers happy it's almost as if it's one of her children getting married. When the actual wedding day came, we were blown away by how friendly (and even a little funny) her staff were. Barb and her team dealt with a few unexpected items swiftly and discretely. Finally, while it's a bit out of the way, this location is beautiful and delivers exceptional value.

AMAZING 10/10 food and service
The entire staff at Black Diamond were amazing and made us feel so amazing! Hands down you should hire this venue for Barb alone! She goes above and beyond to ensure you feel relaxed and stress free and has a strong commitment to making your every dream and wish come true! Erin and the bar staff are so loving and fun and the scenery for photos is unmatched! Chef Mark is a talent and the food was amazing

The best decision we have ever made!
We are beyond happy that we chose Black Diamond for our wedding. Barb and her team made our dream wedding come true! They listened to what our vision was and made sure the day went off without any stress. From the day we started planning right up until our big day, they were always there! If you are looking for amazing wedding food, Black Diamond is your answer. Our guests are still raving about the food a few weeks later. We could not speak more highly of them and would HIGHLY recommend booking your wedding at Black Diamond! Our day would not have been perfect anywhere else.

A+ VENUE! We love Black Diamond Golf Club!
You can not go wrong with booking with Black Diamond Golf Club! Barb was absolutely amazing before, during, and after the wedding. All staff were extremly helpful and very friendly as well. The ceremony was absolutely breathtaking and the venue was so much more than we ever pictured. The dinner, appetizers, and pizza truck were extremely delicious and everyone was so happy they could take their pizza to go. It was the most perfect day. The decorator Diana and Officiant Elizabeth were also amazing. Again, we could not have pictured a more perfect day/evening!
