  It was perfect!

  The venue was the PERFECT spot for both ceremony and reception. The view was beautiful; and while the weather was great, it was also very nice to know we had a back-up option for the ceremony inside, should it have rained. The food was also phenomenal, and I will certainly return for dinner in the future!
  I also want to give a huge shout out to the management staff. They were all incredibly attentive before and during our wedding which made the whole day run without any issues. My day was so special, and so perfect, and a large part of that is thanks to the BYC.

  Perfect Wedding

  I could not have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding day. The location was amazing. The views stunning - a great place to take all our wedding photos. The service was phenomenal. Kim, their event coordinator, was so communicative, friendly, and flexible. We were in such great hands, which relieved so much stress for us! The food was delicious and the set-up was excellent. We had the best time. We also barely spent anything on decor because the venue is already so beautifully set up. It was a hassle-free wedding experience and we'd recommend it to anyone!

  Amazing venue

  This venue and staff were incredible. Kim the coordinator is very organized and was a pleasure to work with. She always answered all of our questions and was on the ball on the day of. Every one of our guests said the location was absolutely perfect. A beautiful view of the Ottawa river and a beautiful indoor setting as well.

  The best Venue... not joking

  This is a not for profit so they won't nickel and dime you. They are incredibly flexible for their menu, what ever you want they will do! Their linen selection was impressive, and had everything that I wanted (I wanted white, navy and rose gold). They helped with setting up the decor, tear down into our boxes at the end of the night and kept it for us to pick up the next day. They will go out of their way to make your day the best it possibly can be. I seriously can't thank them enough for their services, well worth every penny!

  Wedding at BYC May 2018

  We had our wedding at the Britannia Yacht Club in May 2018. Everyone at BYC was great to work with! Breanna, the even coordinator, was accommodating and answered all of our many questions quickly and easily. On the wedding day everything was perfect. The waterfront was a beautiful spot for the ceremony and Breanna helped us make sure everything was organized and seamless. The reception hall was nicely decorated, all of the staff was friendly and helpful and dinner was fantastic. We got so many compliments from our guests about the food and about the views from the balcony overlooking the river. We highly recommend Britannia Yacht Club!

  I was blown away with how accomodating the BYC was. Breanna replied to all emails in fast time. We had lots of last minute cancellations as many of our guests were coming from the states and the BYC took off all our last min cancelled meals. So impressed. The staff were amazing to deal with and gave great attention to our guests. The food at our buffet brunch was delicious except for the scrambled eggs. But the warm mini quiches were devoured.
  
  Venue price included all linens and chair covers in many colours and drapings on the ceiling. They hung back drop linens and paper lanterns for us. They allowed us to customize our meal and were just so easy going. Loved it all. No stress with the venue even when it poured on my day.

  The BYC and staff were absolutely amazing. I couldn't have anything better to say about planning my wedding at BYC and especially with their event coordinator Breanna. She was incredibly helpful, very quick to respond to questions, and helped the day go exactly as planned. The food was incredible and the venue was perfect (albeit a bit hot with no AC, but we knew that going in). I would recommend the BYC to anyone looking for an elegant venue with world class staff. Very affordable in my opinion as well, and it doesn't get better than the beautiful views of the water in Ottawa!
