Unforgettable ambiance!

We still can't stop talking about our wedding here!

We were blown away by the quality of food, the excellent service and how smoothly the entire night went. Lara was extremely helpful and responsive leading up the event, and the rest of the staff was as amazing and on point the night of. We continue to hear from our guests that it was the best wedding they've been to, including best food and best service! Seriously would do it all over again at the Lion D'Or if we could. Don't miss out on the midnight poutines, they were a big hit with our guests. Thanks again for making our wedding so incredibly memorable!!

Wedding of our dreams!

The team at the Lion D'Or beyond exceeded our expectations. They really listened to our vision and helped bring it to life. We searched for months to find the perfect venue that provided everthing from A-Z and this was it! So affordable, and the quality was not missed. I would recommend everyone to book with the Lion D'Or. I will remember this day for the rest of my life! Thank you so much to the entire team. You made our day so special.

Exceptional service

Great food, great ambiance. Akim and Lara are warm, receptive, extremely professional and flexible, much more than many other coordinators/managers we spoke to. Highly recommend.

Une magnifique soirée!

Our wedding at Lion d'Or was absolutely beautiful! Akim, Lara, Catherine, and the rest of the team were kind, helpful, and always available to answer questions. Our guests messaged us about how good the food was. (One even described the crème brulée as "orgasmic" ! ) Everything went to plan, without a hitch. To be honest, we originally planned on having our wedding at a sugar shack, until a friend recommended Lion d'Or. Lion d'Or was only slightly more expensive than the sugar shack, in the heart of the city, and 100% worth it. Merci infiniment encore!

Awesome venue for the perfect wedding!

We booked our wedding with Lion d'Or for last month and it was perfect! The cabaret has a unique timeless charm that adds a magical touch. We had 90 guests and it was also the perfect number for that place (it can fit up to 120 people). We had room for a dancefloor and no tables had to be moved. Also, the Lion d'Or staff is very professional. We had a wonderful time dealing with Akim the whole year prior to the wedding. And the day of the reception, the venue manager was very helpful. Most of our guests had never been to Lion d'Or and we got a lot of great comments on our pretty this venue was. I could not recommend more the Lion d'Or for a wedding!

We had our wedding there in may and I had to write them a review as they are possibly the most professional and attentive team that I have ever met ...and I've thrown a few parties and banquets for work. I have been there 3 to 4 times and have seen how they set uo for concerts and shows and it's remarquable how absolutely amazing everyone is from the light technician to the sommelier from the restaurant Le petit extra Geoffroy....to the manager Akim.

Akim and Geoffroy made our wedding a beautiful experience and I feel that I have gain two new friends.
Our guests were absolutely blown away by how wonderful everyone on their team was and how any issues were promptly taken care of.

This location deserves all the praise in the world. They have really cool concerts and if you are there definitely eat at their restaurant called le petit extra... who happens to do the catering for the weddings.

Le Cabaret du Lion d'Or is a splendid place to have a reception. You don't need to decorate it beacause the place is already beautiful with an art déco style.

The planing was really easy to do during the year, the team is really welcoming and easy to talk.

The offer is really simple and have the menu, the cake, the champagne, the location of the place and a technician. Just one price for all the items.

We had magical moment here, it was a really good choice.

The food is awesome (french cook), also the wine.
We had a band and the technicien did a great job with the sound and the lights.

We definetly recommend le Lion d'Or !!

I'm a singer-singwritter, I've been acting, dancing, an have been working as Maitre D at the Cabaret Lion d'Or for many years.

I consider myself pampered to work and take part in events happening in this such unique venue : A real cabaret, that was build in 1930. Cabaret Lion d'Or is authentic, stylish and classy. It's vintage character attracts many people, from all around the world.

I now work as an Event Coordinator for special events, weddings (my personnal favorite), private partys, private and corporate receptions, conferences, fund raisers, etc.

Our goal is to host unique weddings and events, we adapt to our clients ideas and work hard along with you to make every single event special, we aim to reach our client's dream. And humbly, I blelieve we do get there...
