Facilities and Capacity
The team at Camp Chestermere offers the use of both their indoor and outdoor spaces for events. Couples can choose to host their celebrations inside, out, or a combination of both. Love birds also have the ability to organize small weddings or gatherings with up to 200 people, depending on their vision. Inside the Lodge Dining Hall, guests can appreciate the waterfront views while dining and dancing in an inviting hall complete with a fireplace. The audiovisual equipment and commercial kitchen help to make this a functional event space. Sweethearts can also host their special occasion in the Chap Building, which boasts a wood-burning fireplace and large windows framing the lake. Outdoor celebrations can take place on the Private Waterfront Area, with a dock, beach, gazebo, and island. Bleacher-style seating can be set up for outdoor ceremonies. Dressing rooms are also available for the convenience of the special pair and their wedding party.

Along with the multiple facilities, the team at Camp Chestermere offers a variety of services to help make a couple’s wedding a success. The camp boasts multimedia equipment, such as projectors and sound systems, along with tables, chairs, linens, and ceramic dinnerware for the couple's use. Among the technology available, the team can provide wireless mics, ensuring everyone can hear the toasts. To alleviate stress while planning the big day, the team offers catering services with three packages to choose from. There is also accommodation available for up to 150 people, ideal for out-of-town loved ones. The staff is proud of their ability to adapt to a couple’s vision, letting sweethearts celebrate in a way that feels personal and suited to them. The team takes care of the setup of the camp's equipment for the couple's added convenience.

Meet the team
Shannon has been involved with Camp Chestermere since 2010, primarily as a speaker at summer and winter camps and is humbled to take on this role as Director. He has been an educator for the past 13 years and a bivocational pastor since 2005. Shannon, his wife Michelle and their kids Julia and Evan, are excited for the new opportunities that await them at Camp Chestermere. Shannon is passionate using the gifts, talents and abilities God has given him to help others discover their own identities and passions.
Collin has grown up at Camp Chestermere and has served in many roles here at camp: Cabin Leader, Worship Leader, Male Team Leader, Board Member and now Assistant Director. He is married to Shay (Yoshi) and has just graduated from both the University of Lethbridge with a BA Kinesiology, and Ambrose University with a B.Ed. He currently serves as both our Assistant Director and on the Rocky View School Board as a substitute teacher. Collin came to Christ, was refined in his faith, and is now developing youth and young adults in their walk as disciples at Camp Chestermere.
Natasha is the newest member of our team and she's a wizard in the office! Natasha studied Insurance, Finance and Business Management with particular focus on marketing, and an extensive background in customer service. She is passionate about travel and wildlife conservation, both of which led her to live in South Africa for a brief time, where she founded a scholarship program that provides resources and opportunities for kids and young adults looking to make a positive environmental impact, study the Big 5, and achieve their licensing as a field guide and/or research assistant. Natasha is so excited for the opportunity to continue working with youth at Camp Chestermere.
