We had our ceremony only here and it was beautiful! Chairs were set up for us and we were able to use the golf course after for our photos. We were also able to hang out in the restaurant/lounge after and order some drinks. -

Pam was hard to get a hold of in the planning stages and double booked our ceremony day. So I would recommend calling her if you change your mind on which day you want and then following it up with several emails to ensure you are both on the same page. She made it work and we just had an earlier ceremony. She made up for it on the day of as everything went amazing and she was there to help and organize everything -

The view & the venue itself are gorgeous but staff at the Canmore Golf & Curling Club are what really make this place the perfect venue. Pam was an absolute delight to work with! She answered every question I had! She has a great sense of humour and is so fun but also so professional. Her and Scotty really truly did everything they could to make our wedding dreams come true. I 100% recommend having your wedding here, the food was delicious & well priced & the menu has a great selection for both dinner & late night snack options the staff were very helpful & friendly & really stepped up to the place when the crazy bride came over & ordered a shot for the entire room! The venue itself is gorgeous, clean & the perfect size for those medium size weddings (40-80 people) it was cozy & intimate but also the perfect space to party in after!! Thank you everyone for making our wedding day so amazing! -

Pam, Scotty, and Nadine were absolutely amazing!! They were so easy to work with making our wedding ceremony exactly what we wanted! We had a couple mix ups and they provided us with a comped champagne toast to say thank you!Canmore Golf & Curling Club's reply:

Melanie Sent on 22/12/2020Be careful who already paid deposit for your wedding date
I have booked for the outdoor ceremony and the brunch for my guests on 15th July 2021. I have signed and sent the contract back to Michelle on 22nd July 2020. And she sent me back the receipt after few days. So I started to book my photography, make up and officiant and etc. I am going to prepare the decoration in December 2020, so I have emailed Michelle and asked some questions. I got her reply after few days and said they are NOT ABLE to hold my wedding brunch in their clubhouse without any reason. They can only accommodate the outdoor ceremony portion with vastly reduced. Yes, the venue is the most important part, but also the brunch for my guests. So now I have to plan my wedding from the starting point in the end of December 2020 for my wedding ceremony in July 2021, finding another venue with brunch, make sure my photography and officiant and etc can suit my new ceremony date or new venue. Thank you so much to letting me have such nightmare. -

When we booked the venue for our wedding, we based it off the pictures we seen online since it was winter season when we booked to have our wedding in the summer. The setting was absolutely stunning. The service from the staff was exceptional. They truly made our special day so much better than we expected. Also, the food was to die for! I would 100% recommend this venue over and over for any event. Thank you CGCC! -

Michelle and the Canmore Golf and Curling Club were absolutely perfect to work with for our wedding. They were so accommodating of our questions and requests and truly made our wedding amazing. They were so easy to work with right from the start and made us feel like our event was important to them. The venue is beautiful with gorgeous views of the mountains. The meal for our reception (and brunch the next morning) was absolutely fantastic - many of our guests commented on it as well! I would highly recommend the CGCC to anyone looking for a beautiful Canmore wedding venue! -

Ceremony & Reception - Sept 8, 2018
The Canmore Golf and Curling club was excellent value. The ceremony site in front of the pond is gorgeous and the reception room is also beautiful with lots of natural light. We were very lucky with the weather and had lawn games between the ceremony and reception at the ceremony site. We also were able to open up one of the glass walls and have our dance indoor/outdoors on the patio. We communicated with Michelle mostly over email and phone. At times she was slow to respond to emails but all the important questions and concerns we had were addressed. She was late for our rehearsal dinner but when she arrived she was helpful with staging the bridal party for the ceremony. We visited the venue a few times before the wedding and she was able to walk us through the limo drop off, getting ready location, etc. She was very flexible and accommodating to our requests. The food and alcohol selection were excellent and for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this venue for its flexibility, value, and beautiful mountain views. -
