Fairytale wedding venue

We were so lucky to have gotten the opportunity to have our wedding on the gorgeous Oriole Vessel. The cruise was just amazing!! Going through the islands, seeing the sunset and the swans through Lake Ontario. Every service attendant was remarkable. Lively, helpful and professional throughout the event. The food was exceptional, the DJ was in tone with the transitions of the evening. Our wedding coordinator was fantastic in ensuring almost everything was perfectly communicated. There were a few hiccups, but nothing memorable over the incredible day we had! Thank you to all of the employees of Hornblower Cruises for helping us pull off our magical wedding!

Tammy and Steve's wedding.

Steve and I got married on the Oriole on July 7 2018. We had the most amazing experience. Staff was great. Everyone of them. It was a beautiful warm day . We had an amazing time with our guests. They also complimented on the scenery and the food was absolutely delicious. Everyone was very helpful from beginning to end. Would definitely recommend to anyone getting married. It was one of the best days of our lives. We don't have one complaint. Thanks again for making our special day perfect. The dj was great. He kept everyone rocking.

We picked Mariposa cruises for our Wedding Reception dinner. Our vessel was Northern Spirit and we had full capacity. The planning process with Mariposa cruises was smooth but they do have selected vendors they work with and they are not very flexible. We wanted water to be served on all the dinner tables and they said their servers wont be able to do that. They also did not have pitchers for water to place on each table as an alternative to them serving. The person who we dealt with throughout the process kept switching, and on the day of our event, the event manager responsible for making sure everything is going smoothly was totally different - we had never met this person before. Everything did go as planned and smoothly but it was still a little disappointing. On the positive side, they let us see the vessel as many times as we wanted to get an idea of how to set up for our big day. Also, all our guests really enjoyed the party, the view of Toronto skyline and had a great time. So, I think it was worth it at the end!!

The Mariposa staff was great from start to finish with months of planning and correspondence. The reception was great, and the food was excellent! My family and friends loved it and had a great time!!!!!
