  A beautiful space for the perfect day!

  The gallery was a beautiful and unique space to have our wedding, I loved the amount of natural light that the skylight brought in. Sabrina the venue coordinator was wonderful to work with, she was very responsive and helped the day of the wedding run very smoothly. The preferred caterer The Food Dudes was excellent, we received so many compliments on the food! Pricing was reasonable, and all of the staff worked hard to give us the perfect day. I am so happy with my decision to have my wedding at Columbus Event Centre!!

  Mostly everything was perfect

  Everything was really great, though my fear of the chicken being a bit dry did happen and the sauce they said they would put out wasn't provided to our guests. Otherwise I can't complain about anything else as it was great!

  Phenomenal!

  We booked our wedding with Columbus event centre two years ago, before the pandemic. They have been amazing at communicating regulation changes with us and being so flexible with our wedding number changes. The Columbus team is positive and hard working. The food is DELICIOUS. Our guests loved the food, and service. We liked that they had only our event that day. We did our ceremony outside and the reception in the art gallery. The Columbus team followed our floor plan and set up the space beautifully. Thank you so much, Anna, Lexi, and team!!!

  Amazing wedding venue

  Columbus Event Centre was the most majestic place to have your wedding. I never realized that this place existed in Toronto.
  
  Jorge was super great and so attentive to our needs. He made the whole process so easy and the day turned out wonderful.
  
  Would definitely book another event there in the future.

  Great Experience!

  When we were looking for wedding venues in Toronto, we knew we didn't want the typical banquet hall-style reception, and we wanted to be able to have our ceremony on-site. The quotes we were getting were astronomical.
  
  Having attended a few events at the Columbus Center before, and having family that lives so close by, I was familiar with the space, and we decided to check it out. We ended up signing our contract that same week, following our site visit.
  
  Sabrina, in Sales, was just fabulous to work with. It quickly felt like we were talking to a friend and not a vendor. She was super responsive, explained the contract in detail, and when we couldn't wrap our heads around how fair the pricing was, Sabrina explained that because the center is owned by a charity, they don't try to turn huge profits as other venues would.
  
  Our Banquet Manager, Jorge, was also great. Less a small hiccup with our tasting, everything was organized right down to the last detail. Jorge was receptive of our ideas, and plans, assisted where we needed and on the day of, not only did he anticipate my every need as the bride, his team of staff was excellent. We still have family & friends complimenting us on how wonderful the day was.
  
  As food goes, we took the set menu and made a few small alterations and additions - again, at very reasonable prices, and everyone was SO happy with the meal. Guests couldn't believe how much food was served, and everything was phenomenal (especially the beef; guests were telling us it was the best they ever had while we walked around and chatted with each table).
  
  Our ceremony was held in the Columbus Room - a small room off the main area, and we were able to bring in our own decor to decorate. Everything was very clean, and the chairs and signing table were set up early in the morning, so that we could go in, add our touches and get going with the rest of the day. Our reception was held in the JD Carrier Art Gallery and for a group of ~70 people, it was perfect. The tables weren't too tight, we had a nice big dance floor, and again, everything was arranged for us in the early morning so that we could add our decor easily and quickly. Guests loved looking at the artwork around the room, and it really felt like a lovely, intimate gathering.
  
  Would highly recommend that anyone looking for a venue in the GTA check this place out. We are so happy that we found them, and so pleased with how our day turned out.

  Delicious Food

  Agostino and the team at Columbus Event Centre were very accomodating during the planning phase as well as day of. Can't say enough about how delicious the food is ! Our guests are still raving about our cocktail hour in their lovely outdoor garden.

  Beautiful wedding at Sala Caboto

  My husband and I could not be happier with our wedding at Sala Caboto on July 19, 2019. Our ceremony took place outdoors in the beautiful garden and it really is a hidden gem in the bustling city! Our guests are still raving about the delicious food, lovely venue and friendly service 3 weeks after our wedding. It was wonderful working with banquet manager Stephen Laing and sales manager Diego Rupolo leading up to our big day. They answered all our inquiries and concerns promptly. Stephen was very attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly on the big day. There were high chances of rain, and Stephen monitored the weather by the hour and accordingly prepared the chairs indoors in case of rain. He also checked up on us many times throughout the night to make sure we were okay. The feedback from all our guests on the food was phenomenal and we had to be quite picky since my husband is a chef! We could not have asked for a better venue! Thank you Colombus Event Centre, Stephen, Diego and staff :)

  Perfect wedding venue at great value!

  Stephen was an excellent venue coordinator and saw that our day was perfect! My mother has considerable food allergies and was able to get food at my wedding reception. The risotto was delicious!
  
  I didn't think we could afford such a beautiful and exquisite venue, but Sala Caboto was very reasonably priced for an off-season wedding! (60 guest minimum)

  Fantastic space!

  Columbus Event Centre was a great wedding venue. The gardens were a beautiful space for the ceremony, and the art gallery is a really unique space for the reception. The venue coordinator Jorge was fantastic-super flexible, easygoing, accommodating, and made sure all the meals were happening on schedule. We also found the bartenders, waiters, etc, did an excellent job. They were super friendly! The food was also great and the venue demonstrated a lot of flexibility with our food choices/requests. Would definitely recommend them!
