Located in Kingston, Ontario, Donald Gordon Hotel & Conference Centre is a venue that specializes in providing great indoor and outdoor spaces for celebrating weddings and other special events. This historic venue provides an intimate setting to enjoy the big day with family and close friends.

Facilities and Capacity

The facilities found at this venue include several spaces of varying dimensions plus the outdoor courtyard area. Room B can accommodate up to 112 seated guests. The John Deutsch Room and The Boardroom can hold up to 40 guests seated in each. (5x round tables of 8ppl). These rooms are adjacent from eachother. There are a total of 80 overnight guestrooms on site each with a queen size bed & full bath. Includes a full hot breakfast, Wi-Fi, and on-site parking.

Beautiful Venue + Incredible Staff = Perfect Choice

We chose the Donald Gordon Centre as the setting for our June, 2019 wedding and could not have made a more perfect choice for our 60 person event. The limestone buildings and beautiful landscaping provided the perfect backdrop for our courtyard ceremony. The Coach House Pub, along with its outdoor patio, allowed for the intimate atmosphere we wanted for our reception and was also ideal for our evening of live music and dancing. Our guests raved about the quality and variety of food, the incredible bar staff, and the ambiance. Julianna worked with us and with the rest of the staff to make sure every detail was taken care of and that our day was stress free. Thanks to this incredible team, I can honestly say we were able to thoroughly enjoy our wedding day. It was absolutely perfect!

Showstopper venue at great value!

The DGC is a perfect venue for a wedding! The facilities are beautiful, the food is AMAZING and the centre has many different rooms available to accommodate different parts of the event. When we were forced to postpone and downsize our wedding because of the pandemic, we appreciated having these multiple options. The staff, in particular Julianna, was very understanding and flexible throughout the entire planning and changing capacity restrictions, and we felt very safe COVID-wise on the day of. We had our ceremony in the beautiful courtyard, cocktail in the Coach House pub, dinner in the JD room and dancing in the pub, which has a cute terrasse. Our guests loved the venue, and it was quite convenient to have hotel rooms right on-site as everyone was from out of town. We also loved that a complete hot breakfast was included with the stay ─ it allowed us to extend the celebration with our guests to the next morning! Overall, the DGC wedding package offered great value and we would highly recommend!

50th Anniversary Vow Renewal

We celebrated our 50th at The Donald Gordon Center in their Coach House Pub September 21st 2019, and renewed our vows at the same location in their courtyard.
We could not of asked for any better venue or experience.
The service was excellent and the food was amazing. All of our guests kept complimenting us on choosing Donald Gordon Center as they were so impressed with the service , the food and the overall atmosphere.
Julianna Harbec was the coordinator for our event and it was a pleasure to work with her. She is great at what she does. What we didn't think of she did.
We would highly recommend anyone looking to book for a special occasion to check out this location. They will not be disappointed.

Fantastic team!

We could not have asked for a better experience. The entire team was friendly, hard working, accommodating and an absolute pleasure to work with. They recreated our vision for the big day and all the special touches that went along with it. Our guests raved about the incredible food and overall welcoming experience. We highly recommend this venue to fulfill all of your visions and needs for your wedding day.

Wonderful venue for 50th anniversary party

We hosted my parents 50th Surprise anniversary party at the DGC for approximately 50 guests. It was a perfect venue, having both indoor and outdoor spaces to gather. The food was excellent and very plentiful! Something for everyone. The staff were very well prepared and very responsive both prior to the event and on the day of. They allowed us to come in several hours in advance to set up flowers, decor, etc. Very good value as well!

We have our ceremony, dinner and reception at a little hidden gen near the downtown of Kingston, in the heart of Queen's University. We had a lovely ceremony in the courtyard, a beyond delicious dinner in the main dining room, and a super fantastic reception in the limestone pub. The venue offers onsite hotel style rooms for those that do not wish to travel!
