The Edmonton Country Club boasts a history dating back to 1896. This wonderful club is a perfect wedding destination, offering an amazing backdrop for taking photos, excellent services, stunning function areas and has a friendly and professional staff to take care of every last detail. Facilities and capacity
The Edmonton Country Club features two function areas that can accommodate a range of guests. The Ramsey Room offers guests a large modern banquet space situated off the third tee of the 18 hole golf course. With floor to ceilings windows, the view of the downtown skyline and river valley are sure to impress your guests. This room can host up to 150 guests.
The 1896 Dining Room is located on the second floor of the clubhouse. Also overlooking the third tee of the golf course, this room features a more intimate dining experience that can host up to 50 seated.

Incredible Venue and Staff
The event space itself is wonderful - there are a lot of large windows to allow for natural light, and the adjoining patio can be rented for additional space to include an outdoor dance floor and/or to create a ceremony site. We did so both, and it was ideal to have an outdoor ceremony under a tent (which took away our weather concerns) and to dance the night away with starlight around us). The space is also very versatile - with various setups to accommodate for different guest numbers. With the uncertainty of COVID restrictions and how comfortable people would be attending, this was something we valued. We had approximately 80 guests in the end, and the room looked spacious but not empty - it filled nicely.
Perhaps even more than the space, we were impressed with the staff. Erica was a perfect event manager from Day 1, walking us through everything we needed to know in the planning months, and serving on the day-of to ensure that everything ran smoothly and on-schedule, making adjustments as needed to accommodate and make sure the day went exactly as we hoped it would. We appreciated that they were able to accommodate dietary restrictions efficiently, that guests could choose their meal on the night-of (excellent food!), and that they were able to accommodate a customized drink list (including specifically groom and bride cocktails of choice). We also appreciated being able to set up the night before, and the willingness of the ECC staff to take down decorations the night-of, boxing them and preparing everything for pickup the following morning.
We found the ECC to be very accommodating and understanding, even as we had to move our original ceremony date due to the pandemic. The beautiful space, the organization and helpfulness of Erica, and the polite and accommodating staff all made our special day absolutely perfect. We are highly thankful, and would recommend for anyone to work with Erica and the ECC.
