We had our wedding at the Golden Eagle Golf Club on April 15th 2023. Lamica and her team went above and beyond to bring our non-traditional wedding dreams to life. Despite a rainy day, the day of the wedding went off without a hitch, the staff were so prepared for any weather condition even with my insistence that the wedding ceremony take place outside. Leading up to the wedding Lamica was so responsive and helpful with any questions or ideas we had for the day. She worked with us to create a detailed timeline which eased nearly all of my pre-wedding jitters. I had no fear that the day would go off anything but smoothly.
The venue on it's own is absolutely gorgeous but with the decor it was even more elevated. Guests told us they felt like they were "inside a cloud", and raved about the food. The staff were so helpful and considerate. The cost of the venue was well worth it and compared to every other venue we looked at certainly came with the most bang for your buck. Lamica as a day of coordinator made everything even more worth it.

We loved our wedding at Golden Eagle so much. It was such an amazing day and Lamica was so easy to work with. They were very flexible and accommodating and she was always a quick call, text or email away whenever I had any questions. The venue is stunning and it was great to have everything contained to one place. We also loved being able to sample the food before the wedding and how customizable it was (the food was very good might I add!). As far as weddings go, the drinks weren't badly priced and I appreciated the different options (such as drink tickets, toonie bar, open bar etc). We received nothing but compliments from our guests about the venue and food.

That being said, there are a couple of things that we were a little disappointed with. We opted to do the helicopter ride (100% recommend), but no one seemed to know exactly when it was coming so we rushed through family photos right after the ceremony because we were told it would arrive soon and then wound up with a lot more time that we could have gotten more photos but our family had all wandered off by that point. There were a bunch of photos that we didn't get that I wish we had so that just felt like a bit of a bummer and super chaotic. Granted part of that would have been on our photographer as well but I felt like maybe there needed to be some better communication there or something.

We left partway through our dinner to go get the sunset photos and when we came back our food and drinks were covered in fruit flies. Our photographer mentioned it and was told we needed to eat/drink faster...so I didn't wind up eating much of my food and I had to dig fruit flies out of our glasses every time we poured a new glass of wine. This was kind of upsetting.. I understand that they are around this time of year but considering sunset photos are built into the timeline of the day and they know the bugs are a problem, it was a bit surprising that none of the staff covered our plates of food and/or left corks/tops for our bottles of wine on our tables. We had a few people mention it to us later as well that they felt bad watching us have to clean bugs out of our drinks so it was just a little odd when it would have been an easy thing to prevent.

Overall I would absolutely recommend Lamica, her team and Golden Eagle. We loved our day and are so glad we chose them as our venue. With anything, there's just a few things I think they could work on.

We would like to thank the Golden Eagle team for providing us the backdrop for our wedding on Sunday September 29, 2024. Lamica is an amazing event coordinator that pays attention the every detail. Her professionalism is beyond what words can express. Lamica’s team helped with making sure that the timeline that Lamica has was followed to a tee. They stayed till the very end of the night which was amazing. Everything was smooth and went without a hitch. Any question that we had was answered quickly via email or a telephone call. The food was spectacular, very flavourful and all our guests commented on that. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone. Lamica provided us with a listing of their preferred venders which was super helpful especially when looking for a DJ.

Golden Eagle Golf Club was the first and only venue that my husband and I visited - we knew right away that we wanted to have our wedding there. Lamica answered our loads of questions promptly and helped ease our anxieties about the little details of our big day. Our wedding day honestly couldn't have gone smoother. We opted for the helicopter add-on and we're so glad that we did - I'd recommend considering doing the helicopter ride before your ceremony rather than after! The food was delicious, the staff were on point, the venue had everything we needed and Lamica was the guidance we needed. 10/10 would recommend.

We worked with Lamica for our wedding, and she exceeded all of our expectations! From the very beginning, Lamica was incredibly professional, responsive, and easy to communicate with. We had stopped by the venue on our own before our scheduled appointment with Lamica, and she kindly fit us in between her other appointments. She was excellent at ensuring that everything was planned perfectly so that we could relax and enjoy our special day.

The food was amazing! We received countless compliments from guests both during the evening and after the wedding. We highly recommend opting for the Bridal Box to be delivered to the bride and groom after the ceremony—it allowed us to enjoy the canapés and stay hydrated while taking photos! Guests enjoyed the patio prior to the ceremony and during cocktail hour, and the tents on the ceremony deck were a lifesaver in the hot summer sun.

For the level of service and quality we received, the pricing was very reasonable. We truly feel that we got excellent value for our money. We couldn't be happier with Golden Eagle Golf Club and Lamica’s team! They went above and beyond to make our wedding day unforgettable. We had the most amazing experience at Golden Eagle for our wedding on Sept 1, 2024. I keep telling everyone how perfect my wedding day was, and Golden Eagle was instrumental in this. The location is gorgeous, it is essentially all-inclusive, however still enough of a blank canvas to allow you to express your personality through decor and the menu. The opportunity to have a helicopter organized after our ceremony was iconic and the most amazing and insane experience. It was truly the best day of my entire life. Lamica, the coordinator at Golden Eagle, kept us organized and on track, making suggestions but still accepting our personal decisions about how we wanted our wedding to look. Lamica and her team are amazing! From our initial tour, our wine/food tasting and our rehearsal - Lamica was with us from beginning to end. She was responsive to our many questions, incredibly well organized, to the point, and made our timeline and overall planning process easier through all the guidance and documents she provided (eg. Timelines, seating plan options, vendor recommendations, budget estimates, etc). Costs were also very reasonable (eg. Food, bar). Relative to other venues we inquired with, everything about Golden Eagle was very fairly priced and we were able to stick to our budget.

On our actual wedding day, despite the heat wave, Lamica and her team had everything under control. From making sure that all our vendors knew where to go, to ensuring that we were on schedule - our day went better than we could’ve imagined. We were initially worried about not hiring an additional day of coordinator, but are so glad we didn’t because it simply wasn’t necessary with how great Lamica and her team was.

Our friends and family also loved how beautiful the venue was, especially with the mountain views at the ceremony site! The reception room was also very charming (love how it photographed and loved the fairy lights!). Overall, we received many compliments about how beautiful and smooth the day was, with a friend mentioning that our wedding day was the smoothest one that they’ve experienced. We feel so grateful that we chose Lamica and her team and we couldn’t recommend them enough!

We had our wedding celebration on Feb 17th...
Since the day we went to see the place for the first time, Lamica made us feel like home.
She was so organized! She showed us the place, and clearly walked us through all the details. She gave us recommendations about what to do and where we should not waste money. She suggested some people to work with, and all of them were so professional.
During the day, the team took care of everything! We didn't have to worry about anything at all! She made a timeline and worked with all the vendors so everything was done on time!
Our guests were so happy with the food and how clean was the place! All the staff knew what to do and how to help our guest.

My husband and I had the best night of our lives at our wedding at Golden Eagle in September. Thank you to Lamica and staff for everything, our guests loved the buffet and the beautiful scenery. I wish we could do it all over again!

From the moment we pulled up to Golden Eagle Golf Club, we were absolutely blown away. Located in a valley with mountains on either side and as far into the distance as you can see, there was no way we would find a more beautiful location for the happiest and most momentous day of our lives. The ceremony site looks out over the beautiful green fairway, comes with a tent to provide protection from the elements, and very comfortably seated our just under 100 guests with room for plenty more.
The reception space would be best described as a beautiful blending of elegant and rustic. White drapes, trendy chandeliers, fairy lights with wood accents, it fit the vibe we wanted for our wedding to a T.
Golden Eagle provides everything you need to have a beautiful wedding. From an arch and chairs for our ceremony to tables, linens, chairs and a beautiful "Love" sign for the reception, Golden Eagle looks out for their couples.
For the price, we could not have asked for a better location for our marriage ceremony and the party afterward!
