  The best Venue

  We couldn't ask for a better Venue than Mayfair! Such a beautiful place with such nice staff and amazing food! We didn't have to worry about anything! They provided the food, alcohol, even decorations! The set up outside was breathtaking! Also the greenroom was so beautiful and spacious. The staff made me feel like a queen all night! I even had one of them pick my food for me and bring it all the way to my table! I will never forget this.
  We're so glad we chose Mayfair, and so are all our guests! It's a really beautiful place.

  Amazing Venue for Wedding!!

  My (now) husband and I couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue within our financial means! Jenn and the team were so flexible on things that many other venues were not and it was noted that they wanted to make the wedding experience as unique for the couple as possible.
  
  We did run into some complications with communication in the early stages of the partnership, and some things were not followed through as we had hoped for the wedding (ie. hors d'oeuvre were not brought to our bridal room or our band guests as requested, so we never got to try them).   My (now) husband and I couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue within our financial means! Jenn and the team were so flexible on things that many other venues were not and it was noted that they wanted to make the wedding experience as unique for the couple as possible.
  
  We did run into some complications with communication in the early stages of the partnership, and some things were not followed through as we had hoped for the wedding (ie. hors d'oeuvre were not brought to our bridal room or our band guests as requested, so we never got to try them). But in other ways, they went above and beyond they're service!
  
  As mentioned, they had so much flexibility in what we could bring for décor, they allowed us to bring in our own desert to replace the traditional wedding cake (which included our own little deep freeze to keep the ice cream cold), and they let us venture back out to the ceremony site for some sunset photos. They also had specific staff members act as event butlers to serve us and bring us whatever we needed throughout the reception - something I was not expecting and made us feel special for the evening.
  
  We would highly recommend as the ceremony site is B.E.A.U-TIFUL and overall, their service was great!

  Easy planning and amazing floor manager

  Jenn was our main contact in planning our event at Mayfair and was extremely prepared with lots of information for us, including sample timelines, which was super helpful early on for planning purposes (since we did not use a wedding planner). They even held a wedding showcase which allowed us to sample their buffet and was very helpful for imagining how the day would look and which food and drink selections we wanted to go with. Overall, having the ceremony and reception together at Mayfair made everything much more simpler for us. The ceremomy island was beautiful also. A huge plus was Tammy the floor manager who was nothing short of AMAZING on the day of the wedding, helping us change some items on the fly to have a better flow of events for guests and overall being so super awesome managing the reception. She was so thoughtful to fill my husband and my glasses with ginger ale instead of wine at the beginning of the reception as well as making sure we both had food the whole night.   Beautiful ceremony location and great staff

  We are so happy with our experience at Mayfair Lakes. We had to make so many adjustments due to COVID and even cancelled our reception but they were very accommodating with all our requests. The venue was absolutely beautiful, we hardly needed any decor because the ceremony space was well kept and the flowers were in full bloom. You couldn't tell that you were in a busy golf course because it was so private and quiet in their ceremony area. Yvonne was amazing to work with.   Mayfair was the first and only venue we looked at. When we saw the ceremony space, we automatically fell in love with it. The site is on a man-made heart shaped island surrounded by flowers and all sorts of greens. They even turn on the fountain during the ceremony for that extra special effect.
  
  Food: It was a buffet style and everything was absolutely amazing! All the guests enjoyed the food and all the desserts that came with the menu. If you are worried there won't be enough...dont worry because there was plenty for all my guests!

  Event Coordinator: Tammy was amazing! She has over 10 years of experience with coordinating weddings. She helped with a lot of the details the day of and even worked with my day of coordinator to ensure the day went smoothly. She is very knowledgeable with the Chinese customs so she was able to help us out during the tea ceremony and the toasting. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend her as your go-to person
  
  The only con I had for Mayfair was when our very first coordinator resigned about 3 weeks prior to our wedding and a new coordinator took over. The transition was not as smooth as we would like but that was just a very small kink. However, the new coordinator was very patient in answering all of our questions and even though we had changes up until the last day of our wedding, he was still very accommodating.

  Amazing venue and great food and staff! This should be your first choice when booking for a wedding

  All the staff were very attentive to all guests needs.  Tammy was amazing and also special mention to Jarrick one of the wait staff who was soooo helpful. Jarrick helped carry my plates for dinner and Tammy helped out my wife. Tammy was right by us when cutting the cake as well handing us the knife etc. My parents were impressed with Tammy with all the details she did as well.
  
  All of the guest comment on how good the food was as well at the buffet.

  All the staff were very attentive to all guests needs.  Tammy was amazing and also special mention to Jarrick one of the wait staff who was soooo helpful. Jarrick helped carry my plates for dinner and Tammy helped out my wife. Tammy was right by us when cutting the cake as well handing us the knife etc. My parents were impressed with Tammy with all the details she did as well.

  Our primary contact / event coordinator was Shae at this venue, and she did an amazing job being responsive, organized and kept my family members very happy. We wanted a venue that would fit approximately 180 people, serve delicious seafood and let us bring a Lechon (filipino traditional dish for celebrations) at a reasonable price. The ceremony site was lush and gorgeous in May. The food was cooked perfectly, not a single complaint in the house. We were allowed to have a Candy and Savory station in the reception hall to give our guests snacks, as well as hors d'oeuvres being hand served. There are a number of unique spots to take photos on sites, including a wall covered in ivy, that was very nice.
  
  I liked how this venue keeps both the ceremony site and the reception hall close together, to keep it simple for the guests. She also provides a detailed questionnaire that sorta acts as your final checklist to make sure you have everything ready for your wedding day.
  
  If you want a stress free venue with beautiful pictures and delicious food, this is the place to go!

  Top notch reception

  Their event coordinator is incredibly helpful. From day 1 she made it clear that she is there to support us and make.our big day happen the way we envisioned. If something was not possible she was quick to find alternatives for us.
  They are accommodating and professional. Not once did they push something on to us that we were not sure of just to get us to spend more. Staff are friendly and food was amazing! Definitely had a lot of our guests tell us they enjoyed the food.

  I had conflicted feelings about leaving a review for Mayfair. I thought I should still leave this review to help future brides out there in making an informed decision. Here are the following pros and cons about Mayfair for me:
  Pro:
  1. Beautiful ceremony and reception site
  2. Buffet and dessert were delicious
  Cons:
  1. They have very bad organization. Initially when we booked the site, the coordinator was okay with us having buffet indoors. Somehow through different changes in the coordinator, the answer became no. It took many months of communication to have them hold onto their first word. It seems like there has been inconsistencies between each coordinator. Despite having the discussion indoors in the end, on the day of the wedding one staff still accidentally put the buffet outdoors; thankfully they were able to still fix it within the given time frame. It certainly caused some unnecessary stress for the bride.
  2. Mayfair prioritizes golfers over the wedding party which means no photos were allowed on the golf course.
  3. Despite telling them my chair numbers, which was important for them to prepare the place prior to my decor people putting on chair covers, they didn't prepare a chair for my DJ's assistant which ultimately led to no chair cover (that I had paid for) on the wedding day.
  4. My wedding had a wedding planner and an EMCEE who were announcing tables to go eat. After my main 1st and 2nd parents table went, a staff decided to tell my friends table to go eat third. This was before my relatives table which was quite rude. Mayfair should not have intervened on my table eating order as it wasn't their role to do so. Upon bringing this concern up, I was brushed to the side that this never happened. I have to say that I have attended around 5 weddings thus far and none of them had this type of issue. For a venue like Mayfair that had prepared many weddings in the past, this was quite unacceptable.
  
  Ultimately I can summarize that while the place and food were great, the people certainly lacked good organization and customer service was unacceptable.
