Oakfield Golf & Country Club is situated on 340 acres of woodland on the scenic backdrop of Grand Lake, Nova Scotia, only a 30 minute drive from downtown Halifax and 5 minutes from the Halifax Stanfield Internation Airport. Oakfield proudly boasts one of Atlantic Canada's finest 18-hole championship golf courses. Our clubhouse offers exquisite banqueting facilities with breathtaking views of the greens and fairways and ample amenities to ensure comfort and convenience for your guests.
We offer full food & beverage services from cocktail parties with decadent hors d'oeuvres, to an elegant dinner to cap off your perfect day. Beautiful Wedding at Oakfield Golf & Country Club
Boyce and the staff took care of everything for us, which was such a relief. They were quick to respond to an ungodly number of emails back and forth as we worked through the planning having never actually met.
Oakfield had multiple spaces indoors and outdoors to have a ceremony, beautiful change rooms, and a great dinner/reception area all in one convenient place.
We showed up with just the centerpieces and a card box. The cake and flowers were provided by other vendors, but all other lights and decorations (including chairs, arch, and signs, etc.) were provided by the venue. Boyce was happy to work with us to accommodate menu choices, linen colours, and table layouts, and he was even around the day of making sure everything was set up properly.
Dinner was good, and we didn’t get to try the hors d'oeuvres but all the guests said they were great. They had everything from chicken wings to scallops. The prices were beyond fair and we would highly recommend this venue.

Laura is our Restaurant manager, she will be your contact for all your planning needs. Laura is here to take the stress off of you & can answer any questions you may have about your big day.
Eric Tobin is our General Manager. He will be available to assist you in any shape or form. Eric works closley with Laura to ensure your guests are looked after.
John is our Executive Chef and will build a uniqure menu to fit your own wishes. John has a great deal of experience with executiing extremely large fuctions and ensuring every guests leaves happy.
