It features soaring 22-foot-high ceilings and can be split into six configurations to suit a variety of seating configurations. The facility is able to accommodate both intimate affairs and larger groups of up to more than 1,000 people. A grand staircase at the mezzanine offers the opportunity for a memorable entrance and also serves as a stunning backdrop for wedding photos. Horrible experience
1. The dj there was horrible, not sure if he was even a dj. He refused to meet with me prior to my event. He told me to email him all the info and the songs. At the event, he did not know when to play my songs, he messed up the entrance songs and he even played a different couples journey on the screen instead of playing mine. Was very embarrassing.
2. The management tried to show me a different contract then the one I signed because he wanted to make more money. Of course the next day I showed him the original contract as I kept all my contracts from different vendors and he said well I guess I have to go with the original. The one he tried to show me was a couple thousand dollars more than my original. Nice try.
3. He mentioned that if I don't use all my liquor tickets, I can bring them back and he will give me money back on the unused. Well guess what, he changed his mind and never gave me money back. Yes was only 50 bucks, but it's the principle. At one point he also complained about how he's losing money on our event. We booked before covid and now for the same event he charges double. Well if you don't want to lose money, then don't allow people to book your hall 2 years in advance.
4. He also took our bartender to the other side because apparently my side was not busy enough. He got her to come back once and then she left again, hence why I had liquor tickets left.
I could go more on things, but I'm sure you get my thoughts.
Again get everything in writing, even the small things as like I said the management is poor and they seem to have dementia and forget what they originally agree on. I'm sure the venue will reply with denials but like I said so you don't run into problems I had...have everything in writing. The 5 stars this venue is getting those people must be getting paid.
