Planning our wedding from start to finish with Rideau View was an absolute dream. Beginning with Taylor who helped us plan and organize our day. He was always quick to respond to emails and any questions or concerns that we had. He was flexible in all our requests and truly went above and beyond for us. Our day would not have gone as smooth as it did without Kristie. She was our superhero of the day. Anything we needed, or could think of Kristie was always there and waiting and willing to help. She thought of things before we even asked and always had our best interests in mind. There are not enough words to describe how thankful we are for Taylor and Kristie but also the entire Rideau View staff. They are an amazing venue and we would recommend them over and over. Our experience was great. We unfortunately booked our wedding in the middle of Covid-19, but the venue was understanding and accommodating with our schedule changes and eventual cancellation. The venue is beautiful as well, if only we booked a year earlier. Thank you Rideau View!

Rideau View was a wonderful venue for our reception. Taylor was very attentive to our needs and ideas right from the beginning. Staff were available and helpful during the set-up and we appreciated the ample time we had to set up. The fall colours made for a stunning backdrop for our day and it was easily accessible for guests. Kristie was a very professional guide to find the best spots for photos, and really took care of us and made sure it was a wonderful experience, despite the threatening rain. We had many comments from guests about what a beautiful location we had, and how delicious and plentiful the food was. We would highly recommend Rideau View as an excellent venue.

We recently held our wedding reception at Rideau View golf club, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Taylor was absolutely amazing to work with. He was very prompt at responding to questions and very helpful with suggestions as to what would be possible at the venue. When we booked the venue, we were given access to the dining room the day before our wedding as well, so our decorator was able to get in early and start decorating. As a couple who did a lot of DIY as well, we found this super helpful and convenient, so hopefully this doesn’t change in the future. The dining room fit 140 people comfortably and provided exclusive access to the large covered patio, where we decided to have our dance floor. The layout was perfect, thanks to Taylor! He had set up tables and chairs along the perimeter which we noticed the older guests claimed right away. They were able to be part of the dance/party without having to stand all night. I thought this was so smart!!!

The food was incredible. We chose the BBQ buffet option. We went for our tasting a month before the wedding and everything was delicious. We had a few guests with gluten allergies and Taylor made sure that there were gluten free options for appetizers and dessert as well. As we walked around to each table after the dinner, everyone kept repeating how amazing the food was. Multiple guests told us the food was the best they’ve ever had at a wedding  . We agree with them…we want to go back just to eat more of their food! The chicken lollipops with the orange ginger sauce (appetizer) and the beef with the sauce (entrée) were to die for. The bar staff was also great and super friendly.

Although we didn’t have our ceremony on site, we used their bridal suite since we were taking photos on site beforehand and loved the convenience of it. I met Kristie on the Friday when we were there dropping a few things off. She told us she’d be there bright and early Saturday morning to check in on us, and she was! Words can’t even describe how thankful I am that we had her with us!! She made sure we had everything we needed. She made sure we had plenty of water and drinks and food, and checked in on us regularly to make sure we didn’t need anything else. We were a bit behind schedule when we were finally done getting ready, and she told us to leave our bags in the suite and she would personally take them to a locked room for us to pick up later in the evening. When I walked out of the room and saw everyone, Kristie reminded me to breathe and was fully prepared with tissues, just in case 

During the photos, Kristie brought out snacks and drinks for our wedding party. When she saw that the ring bearer wasn’t smiling or coming to stand to the side, she brought out a bag of chips to try and coax him over. It worked, of course. We were originally planning to go out on the course with golf carts for photos, but because we were short on time, we took our group pictures just outside the clubhouse. After the ceremony, we went out with Kristie and the photographer, and Kristie took us to the most beautiful locations on the course for photos. She brought us drinks, and offered to bring more snacks. She made sure my dress stayed clean while we were on the golf carts (it poured the night before, so some spots were a bit wet). Kristie went above and beyond any expectation that I had, and played a huge part in making sure everything was perfect.

I cannot express enough, my gratitude towards Taylor and Kristie and the rest of the amazing staff at Rideau View for making sure our guests had a great evening, and for making it so easy to plan out our wedding day. I would recommend Rideau View Golf Club 100 times over.

Beautiful venue, very reasonable pricing, amazing service and help coordinating the day of.

The staff were so helpful that it felt like we didn't have to do a thing - just show up. The facilities are a perfect size for a small to medium wedding. We would recommend it to everyone.
The day was beyond my wildest dreams.

We had the most perfect wedding day at Rideau View Golf Club. The staff went above and beyond to make our day as easy and stress free as it could possibly be. We had our ceremony out on the patio which is surrounded by gardens so we needed no additional decorations. They supplied us and our whole wedding party with golf carts to go around the course and take photos on site. Dinner was delicious! We had so many compliments on how great the food was and we were able to fully customize everything to our liking. I would recommend Rideau View to any Ottawa bride.

This venue is not only beautiful but the food was so amazing and the staff couldn’t of been better to deal with. I really can’t say enough about our experience. They truly made our day perfect. Everyone (including other vendors) were so impressed with this spot.

Choosing the Rideau View Golf course as our wedding venue was the best decision we made! The venue itself is absolutely stunning; they offer multiple options for the ceremony location at no additional charge (in case the weather was not going to cooperate), and boasts numerous photo opportunity locations around the course. Since they have an open alcohol license, we were allowed to have drinks on the green while taking photos with the family. They also brought out some appetizers for us so we weren't hungry waiting for dinner, and they let us drive the golf carts ourselves! The food there is amazing and the staff was unbelievably accommodating. Everything we wanted to do or have, they made happen, even if it wasn't part of the original plan, or their duty.

It was an absolute breeze working with Taylor, the clubhouse manager, right from day one. He was open to our ideas and shared in our wedding vision, and brought to the table a lot of great suggestions from his many years of experience. He was also very flexible and accommodating to all of our needs leading up to and including on our wedding day. For example, without even batting an eye, he moved our rehearsal dinner indoors when I asked because it was a chilly evening, even with their outdoor heaters on the patio! He was very prompt with all forms of communication and went above and beyond in every way possible. We could not have asked for better service!

Kristie, the event coordinator, acted as our day of wedding coordinator, and was fantastic at keeping us organized. She was there at our rehearsal dinner learning how we envisioned our day, and was there ready to help on our wedding day. She aided in coordinating the start of the ceremony, gathering the various groups of friends and family for photos, brought out food and drinks for us during photos, and kept in constant contact, even when out on the grounds, with the rest of the staff members to keep them updated with our timelines and locations. She took exceptional care of us along with the whole bridal party on our special day, and we are so thankful for all of her help!

We have had nothing but compliments from our guests on the food, the staff and the venue itself, and we honestly feel very lucky to have found such a gem of a location. As a private golf course, the number of weddings they have a season are limited, therefore you don't feel rushed and as if you're 'just another wedding'. We really felt welcomed and that our happiness was their top priority. We have had an amazing experience working with the Rideau View Golf Course, and highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding. As new members of the club, we are looking forward to playing a round or two on their course, and indulging in their great food and service time and time again this summer!
