Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club is an enchanting banquet hall venue located in Newmarket, Ontario.

We at Silver Lakes know how important it is that everything be perfect on your special day. We are here to make sure that your wedding is everything you had hoped it would be and more.

The natural beauty of Silver Lakes, nestled along the meandering Holland River, will take your breath away. Mature forests of oak, maple, birch and ash are a stunning backdrop to our quiet lakes and rolling hills.

Get ready in our elegant private Bridal Suite with light bites and champagne on ice. Yours is the only wedding so you can relax and take your time - Silver Lakes is yours for the day. For the groom and groomsmen the Lakes Lounge is the perfect hideaway to calm the nerves and relax with a drink before the ceremony begins. Make the most of those quiet moments and capture memories to last a lifetime.

You can have your ceremony outdoors along the water’s edge of Blue Heron Lake, followed by an outdoor cocktail party with hand-passed canapes at our lakeside Pavilion and summer Patio, 'The Birch'. Create a storybook wedding album by taking advantage of our stunning views on the Meadow or enjoy nibbles and cold drinks on our vintage cocktail trolley while taking photos at our beautifully restored Pump House and adjacent Memory Garden.

Let us toast the happy couple with some bubbly. Our Executive Chef, Jenn Brooker has prepared a fabulous meal for you and your guests. We offer plenty of choice but can further customize the menu to your individual needs. Just ask, we are at your service.

After the first dance you can catch a breath of fresh air on the Terrace and finally take a moment to yourselves while your guests continue to dance the night away. Don’t forget to cut the cake! And what wedding would be complete without late night food stations to keep the party going.

Amazing, Intimate, Picture Perfect

A couple weeks ago we got married at the very beautiful Silver Lakes Golf and Country Club. We cannot say enough amazing things about our experience. The outdoor venue itself on the golf course is beautiful. The landscaping and maintenance of the venue is spectacular. The staff at Silver Lakes were very professional and a huge help in setting up and ensuring our day went as smoothly as possible. The DJ (Rick) was 10/10 and was so fun to work with during this process. He did an amazing job entertaining our guests. The food at silver lakes was amazing!! Our guests are still talking about it. Debbie (The Wedding Coordinator) was super easy to work with. She is very organized, helpful and the reason why our wedding day went so smoothly. I can not say enough great things about this venue. We enjoyed every second of our special day!

Perfect wedding day

I got married at the Silverlakes Golf and Country Club recently on October 23, 2021. I am sooooo happy we chose this venue to host our wedding. Words cannot express how grateful I am to all the staff members at Silverlakes who made the special day so perfect! Debbie was extremely friendly, accommodating, and detail oriented and we felt like our day was in good hands. After months of emailing back and forth, when our day finally arrived the venue was styled exactly as we requested. The food was exactly as we requested and cooked to perfection. We had no complaints from any of our guests. People raved about the venue as well as the food and said it was one of the best weddings they had ever attended!

Excellent Venue, Great Food

We recently had our wedding at Silver Lakes, all we can say is how fantastic it was! From our first meeting with Debbie, we felt like this was the place to have our special day. Debbie was just amazing, she helped us through every step of the way. From giving us a list of great vendors to choose from, to helping with a detailed timeline of the day. It was great that we were given the venue for the entire day to ourselves, so us and our guests could enjoy a more intimate wedding. All the staff at silver lakes helped create such a seamless wedding experience. Several things happened over the course of the day that we hadn’t even thought to plan for but the staff at Silver Lakes was always one step ahead of us, helping to create our perfect day. The food was delicious and several of our guests complemented us on how great it was.
Overall we would highly recommend Silver Lakes to anyone who is looking to have a fantastic wedding day.

So helpful and so amazing

How can I explain how amazing Debbie is? Debbie Robinson is the "wedding boss" at Silver Lakes and is the most organized and easy to work with vendor you could ask for. She helped me plan decor, food, timeline, etc. which was invaluable. The staff at Silver Lakes is also incredible, they are so friendly and helpful and we loved working with them. Chef Dave made incredible food and the serving staff was amazing. The grounds and venue itself are stunning and the pond and pavilion by the lake made our wedding so beautiful. Our sunset photos looked amazing on the golf course and there is a little pump house to take photos away from guests too. They even accommodated our request to not have any plastic cups or straws and are environmentally responsible. I can't say enough good things about this place.

Easy, beautiful and relaxed

We tied the knot at Silver Lakes in August 2019, and could not have asked for a better venue to suit all our needs. As a couple living abroad, Debbie (events coordinator) helped us every step of the way so that we could literally step off the plane to a fully organized wedding. She provided checklists, thorough timetables and was quick to respond to any queries. The venue is simply beautiful for photos and easily accessible for everyone. We are so happy with our choice!

Amazing Venue and Staff!

I highly recommend checking out Silver Lakes for weddings and events! We just had our wedding here and could not be more pleased! Debbie is fantastic and helped our day run smoothly. She was very prompt with communication and friendly and personable from the moment we were interested. She did everything in her power to make the day perfect for us. Chef Dave is amazing too! We received countless compliments on the food. Every staff member working was welcoming and efficient. You could tell they really wanted our day to be great! We had a few last minute changes due to weather and they were more than accommodating. The venue itself is beautiful inside and out. We had our ceremony under the pavilion and it was perfect. Thanks again for the perfect day!

Perfect Winter wedding!!

My Huband and I knew right away that Silver Lakes would be the location we would get married from our first meeting. Debbie is so friendly, considerate and accommodating. The venue is absolutely beautiful. We had an outdoor ceremony, in January, which was a first for them but it came together seamlessly. The food was phenomenal! Dave the chef was there at each of my meetings with Debbie to check in to make sure we were happy. All of our guests raved about the food and especially the dessert!! I wouldn't change one thing about my wedding and Debbie was there every step along the way to make sure what we wanted is what happened.

Wedding at Silver Lakes June 9th, 2018

My husband and I got married at Silver Lakes in June of this year. It could not have been a more perfect day. The weather cooperated and we were able to get married outside on the green and have the cocktail hour under the pavilion. We received so many compliments about the beautiful venue as well as the food (specifically the goat cheese salad and cheesecake for dessert. It truly was the best day of our lives and it was made possible because of the wonderful staff at Silver Lakes! Thank you :)

Stunning area and wonderful service

I must say, our wedding was made possible by Debbie. We decided to do the wedding at a venue last minute and I wasn't even sure if we would get it done! I met with Debbie a couple months prior and laid out our plans and prefences. She was very flexible and provided a good deal of options for such a short notice. We originally planned to hold the ceremony by the lake and the reception under the Pavillion, the scenery there is absolutely stunning by the way. Unfortunately, the temperatures were too cold. Debbie was great at suggesting last minute changes which I think made to keep guests outside. The day prior to the wedding, Debbie called and provided us with alternative options. She was kind enough to have a room inside the facility on hold for us to house the reception in case the weather didn't cooperate. Thanks to her, I'd say the day turned out better than we planned.
Our guests loved the venues scenery, its a quiet and private area, the food was divine and Debbie was wonderful with ensuring everything went smoothly.This spot is a hidden gem in Bradford, it's definitely worth checking out!
