Surreal Wedding
The entire process of our wedding has been a long one and we are definitely glad we chose the Star Edmonton for our special event. We've worked with them for just under a year with it starting with us visiting the venue (and falling in love with it) on the first day, to us celebrating with our loved ones on our special day. It wasn't easy planning initially with COVID, and it was a time of panic when we had to reschedule due to restrictions, but whatever request we seemed to have was answered in a response that made us feel at ease. Even when the new manager Annie took over for the previous manager, it was absolutely seamless and she made sure to do her research on all our details and make us feel at home. She was awesome for providing us many options the venue had to offer (thank you for the bridal room suggestion - our family loved it!) Our event was amazing, from the food to the bar, from the atmosphere to the ambience, it was all absolutely magical
The relationships we made from the bookings manager (Annie), to the event coordinator (MJ) are ones that now extend outside of business. They coordinated with all our vendors flawlessly from our decorator, DJ, photographer team, and photobooth team. Serving staff were sure to check in on us and the guests regularly. The bartenders were a hit and were able to cater to our custom drink menu.
We recommend the Star Edmonton to all couples who are looking for a venue that will take care of them from the start to the end, and provide you a true family feel.
