Established in 1913, the Stratford Country Club is one of Ontario’s favourite locations for wedding ceremonies and receptions. Along with the beautiful facility, the friendly and dedicated staff is ready to give you a memorable wedding. They will ensure that your wedding celebration will be a picture perfect event you will love!
Facilities and capacity
The Stratford Country Club offers both indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces and indoor reception venue. Located along the undulating greens and woodlands of the Stratford Country Club golf course, it holds all the elegance and ambience for your dream celebration. It can accommodate up to 220 guests. Their outdoor ceremony space and stone patio adds to their premier indoor wedding venue.
Services offered
The knowledgeable management staff of the Stratford Country Club will guide couples throughout the planning process. The Event Manager will work closely with couples and assist them in planning the menu, room layouts, and more. A banquet package is available for your event. The wedding services include the following:
- Hurrican vases, tea light holders and tile mirrors
- White skirting for cake, DJ, head, and buffet tables
- In-house white, black, ivory linens and napkins
- Round, rectangular, hightop tables and chivari chairs
- Bartender services, wine service, late night cake cutting service
- Podium, microphone, sound system, projector and portable speaker
- Room setup and teardown
- Dinner music
Cuisine
The Event Manager will work closely with the head chef to create the perfect menu for your wedding. The culinary team will serve a menu that will delight your tastebuds. Couples can also design their menu according to the taste and dietary needs of their guests.
Other services
The Stratford Country Club can host a variety of wedding-related events. You can celebrate your engagement party or bridal shower at this venue. The venue also offers golf, curling, golf simulator and squash facilities for guests.

Beautiful Venue, Amazing Staff

What truly set our experience apart was our incredible wedding coordinator, Jessie. From initial planning stages to the day of the event, she was an absolute dream to work with. Jessie brought a level of professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail that went above and beyond our expectations. She listened to our vision, offered valuable insights, and ensured that every aspect of our wedding day went off without a hitch.

Exceptional Venue and Event Management
As someone who's worked across Canada in corporate events, I've got a pretty good sense of what differentiates a good venue and venue manager from a bad one. From the first time I reached out Charlene and Jesse were extremely attentive and communicative. They never made me feel like a bother for asking questions or making special requests and they went above and beyond to make sure I had all the information I needed to feel confident the day would be executed well. Leading up I did have to double check a few clauses/invoices but they were quickly corrected to match our mutual understanding. Char was my coordinator for the big day and she and her staff executed everything to plan. The venue was beautiful and they worked well with all my vendors and DIY elements to pull the night together.

The perfect wedding venue!
Stratford Country Club was the total package! The food was delicious, the grounds are beautiful, the ceremony and reception hall were stunning and the staff were beyond helpful! Plus our wedding coordinator made sure everything was perfect leading up to and on the day of the wedding.

Amazing Wedding Experience
Such an amazing experience at Stratford Country Club for our wedding in May 2021. They made planning a wedding throughout a pandemic very smooth as they were super flexible and accommodating with anything and everything that we wanted. They elevated a lot of worry and stress throughout the wedding planning process. Even though it was not the day we original planned due to Covid, it was still an amazing day that we will never forget. They lived up to our expectations and more!! You will not be disappointed with this venue. They will make your wedding dream come true!!

Couldn’t have picked a better venue
I’m just gonna make this short and sweet! The venue was absolutely stunning the staff was beyond amazing. It was a great price for everything the venue has to offer. People were complicating the food for weeks. Best wedding food they’ve ever had. We couldn’t of asked for a better day and they made it possible. Would HIGHLY recommend. I would use this venue for future events if ever needed!

Incredible venue, incredible food, incredible staff! Jessie was so helpful & made sure everything went smoothly. She helped keep us organized & reminded us of the little things that you can easily forget about or not even think of in the midst of wedding planning! The complimentary food tasting & free round of golf were huge bonuses for my husband & I! The venue is breathtaking & we truly had the most perfect day!

Beautiful venue and wonderful service
We decided on the SCC after attending a family member’s wedding there in December 2021. We worked mostly with Char and she was absolutely incredible! She was responsive to all of our inquiries, handled family members who were asking questions well, and ensured everything ran perfectly the day of the wedding! We also had our ceremony at the SCC in their gardens- absolutely beautiful! You don’t even need to decorate it!.
I come from a big Italian family, where good food is the key to life. Our families have not stopped raving about the food (especially the bread). We would choose the SCC again in a heartbeat and are so grateful to the wonderful staff, including Char, the cooks, and all the service staff who made our wedding a night we will never forget! Thank you!
