Nestled in the heart of Samuel de Champlain Provincial Park, the Canadian Ecology Centre's beautiful setting is a natural choice for your wedding venue. We offer a truly intimate, affordable, and unique venue with options for a beautiful outdoor ceremony, facilities for an indoor reception, as well as modern accommodations that appeal to those who love the outdoors as well as guests seeking less rustic accommodations.

By choosing our location, you are creating a weekend away in nature for you and your guests to connect to each other and the land while they celebrate your special day.

Ceremonies:

• Several locations within Samuel de Champlain Provincial Park, and the CEC main site to choose from depending on the time of year

Reception Hall:

• Large event space with room for up to 100 comfortably seated
• Table and Chairs provided (receptions larger than 100 may be required to rent their own chairs)

Accommodations:

• 32 Modern heated accommodations with private washroom facilities (w/ shower and flush toilet).
• Bedding provided
• Cabins do not have kitchenettes, on site guests have access to shared use dining cabin for meal preparations.
• Minimum of 15 cabin rentals required for all wedding bookings
• 2 night minumums in place during peak season (August - October)

Activities:

• Make the most of your weekend away with your wedding guests and enjoy a campfire, hike one of the beautiful trails in the Provincial Park, or rent a canoe and paddle the historic Mattawa River!

NOT INCLUDED:

• Catering: The CEC does not provide catering. Hosts will be responsible for providing their own catering (proof of insurance required)
• Liquor License: The CEC is not a licensed establishment. Hosts must obtain a special occasions permit along with Party Alcohol Liability insurance and provide a licensed bartender for their event.
