The best venue for our big day. We had our ceremony outdoors and the view is beautiful especially for pictures. I loved it. The food was excellent very tasty. Our guests were very happy. The staff was very friendly. We highly recommend it for sure.

The staff was extremely helpful and was willing to answer all of our questions leading up to the day of the wedding. I emailed the catering manager Shareen a lot of times and went to the venue to clarify things many times. But on the day of, the floor plan was not set up like I had asked them to. I tried to approach the staff and they were very unprofessional and didn't have a copy of the floorplan I had given to the catering manager, and said they didn't know where all the rentals that we had dropped it off the day before were, got responses like "I don't know" and walked away, they didn't even know about any rentals, even thou I had informed Shareen about it, and she had made notes about table cloths and other decor items that were being dropped off the day before and being set up by my friends the morning of the wedding. The catering manager was also not present during the day. So as the bride it was a very stressful morning. Thankfully I had a bunch of friends that we able to help set everything up that way I had asked last minute. During the reception everything was perfect, food and service was amazing. I think the catering manager was not very experienced, and it was super stressful for me and my mom on the day of, because I had planned everything with Shareen, but nothing was set up the way we had discussed. Really upsetting.

The only minor issue we had was that a new catering manager (Joette) started only a couple of weeks before our wedding, so we had to review some details that we had already discussed with her predecessor. However, Joette was very responsive and helpful and it didn't take her long to put all of our information together perfectly for our big day! She made sure that all of the important details were in our contract so that staff would know exactly what we expected for room layout and our wedding day timeline. The wedding day itself went very smoothly! The food (we went with the buffet) was incredible! They were flexible about adjusting the menu to include more vegetarian options. We had excellent service from the bartenders and other serving staff. Bernie checked on us regularly to make sure that we had everything we needed.

We chose the Derrick Golf and Country Club for our brunch wedding and we are so glad we did! The staff was extremely helpful and was willing to answer all of our questions leading up to the big day. I emailed them many times, and always got a prompt and helpful response. They did everything they could to make our day special. The staff working on the day of the wedding were also very helpful. The outdoor ceremony space is beautiful and looks out onto the beautiful golf course with trees and flowers everywhere. The brunch buffet was absolutely delicious!!!! They also took care of pretty much everything- cutlery, plates, table clothes, servers, etc. Definitely recommend this venue!!!
