Absolutely beautiful and romantic spot!

I cannot say enough about this place. The place is beautiful, quaint and very romantic, the food was fantastic and the service impeccable. There was a hiccup with a switchover of wedding planners but the transition was uneventful and our stress was gone almost immediately. Was a gorgeous wedding and everyone loved the music and food. We chose to go with their DJs (Exclusive) and would not change a thing. We went in thinking "Things may go wrong and we'll deal with it at that moment" but I can honestly say that it was a perfect day. We had the Garden Room which we loved and if you are looking for a wonderful ceremony, hands down, request Rev. Nikki! Would highly recommend this venue for your special day.

Our wedding at the Dr’s House was an unforgettable experience, thanks to the exceptional professionalism and attention to detail of the entire team. From the initial planning stages to the big day, the staff provided seamless coordination, ensuring everything ran smoothly and according to plan. The venue itself was breathtaking, offering a stunning setting both indoors and outdoors, with beautiful décor options that allowed us to truly personalize the space. The catering was top-notch, with delicious food and impeccable service. Thanks to the expert guidance of ELISA PALUMBO THOMPSON and the incredible venue, our special day exceeded all expectations, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect celebration. Unforgettable and Timeless

We recently celebrated my parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary at The Doctor’s House in Kleinburg, Ontario last August 2024 and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. I cannot say enough about how wonderful the team was, especially Jessica B., our venue coordinator. Throughout the planning process, she was incredibly accommodating, professional, and truly understood our vision. Her support as I planned the entire event not only made the day flawless but also ignited my passion for wedding and event planning—a career I’ve recently pursued! I look forward to the opportunity to work with The Doctor's House again in the future.

Gorgeous location!

The Doctor's House captivated us because of how quaint and beautiful the chapel and gardens are. The big bell that we got to ring was an extra bonus! Staff there were extremely friendly and transparent whenever we had a question. We were told exactly what we'd expect to get when we book with them and never once felt like we were being sold a different story. Angela also made herself available to us brides for any questions we had at all at anytime of the day. I highly appreciated this invite as it allowed for smooth planning and clear communication. It was a beautiful sunny day for our wedding and the gardens were lusciously green. All photos, even from guests, have been looking amazing!

A Magical, Memorable Day at The Doctor's House

We could not be more impressed with our wedding celebration at The Doctor's House two weeks ago. Our journey with The Doctor's House started back in 2019 and during the past 5 years we have been very impressed with the patience, flexibility and professionalism that The Doctor's House was able to provide.

We wanted to give a very special mention to Ben G whose understanding, flexibility and fairness in going through multiple postponements due to COVID was sincerely valued and appreciated.

Our venue planner/coordinator, Elisa, was absolutely amazing. She walked us through everything with ease. She answered every phone call and email professionally and promptly. Her kind spirit and attention to detail made our day...

Our venue planner/coordinator, Elisa, was absolutely amazing. She walked us through everything with ease. She answered every phone call and email professionally and promptly. Her kind spirit and attention to detail made our day flow smoothly.
Her professionalism was exceptional and it was so nice to have her on our team!

All the additional support staff, servers and bartenders were amazing as well. They all did a stellar job! They were kind, courteous and warm. They were always assisting us with a smile on their faces. They were friendly and made our guests feel very comfortable!

The venue is an absolute dream. We had our ceremony in The Chapel and our reception in The Doctor's Study/Garden Room. The recent renovations in The Doctor's Study and Garden Room made the room feel magical. The care of the outside grounds and adding extra florals so that the grounds would look inviting for guests was a wonderful touch. Our guests loved the venue and had nothing but positive things to say about it!

The food was excellent and in abundance through the whole night. The guests raved about how much food was available and how delicious it was. The guests specifically commented on the salad and pasta courses and I had one guest say they could have eaten that salad for every course! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed all the hors d'oeuvres, the four dinner courses, the fruit platter and the slider station. Thank you for a delicious night!

Overall, our experience with The Doctor's House was exceptional. We had a fantastic night and it was everything we hoped and dreamed it would be. Our guests have been telling us what a thoroughly enjoyable time they had as well! We highly recommend The Doctor's House to anyone looking for a truly exception wedding planning experience and magical wedding day!

Amazing venue

We fell in love with the Doctor’s House first time we visited their venue and booked them the same day. Their team made our day go exactly as planned. Everyone loved the space, food and drinks. Elisa was our day of planner, extremely professional and responsive.

Highly recommend

We had an absolutely incredible experience hosting our wedding at The Doctor's House. We hosted our ceremony on the Country Fare patio and the reception in the Country Fare room. Working with Angela and Amanda was fantastic. They were very organized, quick to respond, and easy to work with. The food was incredible (Salmon/Short Rib) and drinks were outstanding. We brought in our own DJ/entertainment group, however, used The Doctor's House lights/sound system (xclusive group) which everyone raved about. We did all of our pictures, ceremony, and reception on The Doctor's House grounds. This made it so easy not having to travel around to different locations. The Doctor's House is a very professional/beautiful venue and we would definitely recommend.

Absolutely amazing!

A wedding that exceeded our expectations by a huge amount, we are extremely happy how everything turned out. I have received countless compliments about the beautiful venue space, the great food and so many sore feet from all the dancing to the great music from their in house DJ. The Doctors House helped put together a dream wedding for us! Couldn’t be happier!

A Dream Come True!

From the moment we walked into the Doctor’s House, we knew we wanted to have our reception there. The space is absolutely stunning! We first met with Angela who took the time to show us around and answer all of our questions. Then we met with Elisa who was our coordinator and was there every step of the way, making our experience an unforgettable one. Thank you to you both!! Just an okay experience

I typically don’t write reviews and try to stay positive, however after having the last 2 months to think about this, I decided to write one. I had my wedding here in June and it was just okay. From the beginning, I did feel pressured to book a date on a rush from our first meeting. Our original coordinator was a bit slow at responding, but then we got Elisa. Elisa was great - she did respond at all hours of the day and got answers ASAP. She was the best thing regarding our experience at The Doctors House.

From the beginning, I did feel pressured to book a date on a rush from our first meeting. Our original coordinator was a bit slow at responding, but then we got Elisa. Elisa was great - she did respond at all hours of the day and got answers ASAP. She was the best thing regarding our experience at The Doctors House.
We originally booked for Sept 2020, which got postponed due to COVID. My husband and I totally understood the difficult position vendors were in, however TDH was less than accommodating on selecting a new date. When I requested a new date change, they would not entertain a date although I was working out of the province and would not be in Ontario for the date they gave us. During many calls with the owners, my husband and I truly were as nice as we could be as we knew COVID wasn’t easy on TDH. Eventually, after the owner made me cry with extremely rude comments, he bluntly told me "there is no customer service here", and told me to sue him to get our money back and that I wouldn't win if I did sue him. I told him I didn't want to sue him and I wanted to work with him. He was extremely rude with multiple comments, and made a very stressful and non-joyful experience. It’s evident that they do not have strong customer service as we are just one-time customers.
After picking a date (that we didn't even want), TDH were still frustrating to deal with. Everything we asked, it was either a strict "no", or extra fees. For example - your flower girl cannot throw petals or it's a $500 clean-up fee, extra fees if we wanted to bring in our own dessert, had to pay over $850+tax plug-in fees to use microphone (I believe this has gone up), had to use their DJ or else had to pay more, etc. Extra costs never stopped and restrictions were all around us.
My sister got married last week at The Elora Mill (managed by Pearle Hospitality) and I cannot say enough great things about The Elora Mill/Pearle. Their customer service was completely out of this world. It was raining the morning of her wedding so they rented a last minute Airbnb castle to accommodate inside photos free of charge, they checked in on us constantly to see if we needed anything, they didn’t charge for any extra things that I would have had to at The Doctors House (for example – bringing in food, $300 to use the projector ((which was Platinum Entertainment which you had to use or were charged $750 to bring your own DJ)). At The Doctors House, when my husband and I walked in our cocktail hour, we noticed that there was 50+ people standing in line at the bar with only one bartender, which at The Elora Mill they had drinks lined up for people when they entered The Cocktail Hour, they walked around serving pre-made drinks and had 3 bartenders at all times. There were many details like this that made the wedding at The Elora Mill a wedding to remember forever, and make our wedding at TDH feel very below average.
Overall, we are disappointed in choosing The Doctors House for our wedding. It’s upsetting that looking back on our day I don’t have a sense of joy with it. With spending tens of thousands of dollars with them, I expected more in terms of customer service. Elisa was great to work with, however the owners are very much just out there for the money and really don’t care about customer service as you’re most likely just a one-time customer. If you’re deciding between a venue with Pearle Hospitality or The Doctors House, highly recommend Pearle.
