History and old-Hollywood elegance combine at The Eglinton Grand, a wedding venue in Toronto, Ontario. From the dazzling marquee to the charming art deco décor, you are sure to have an unforgettable wedding at this former theatre. Rich mahogany woods and refined marble are just some of the architectural details that enrich this historical landmark. The venue is located 20 minutes from Toronto Pearson International Airport. Facilities and Capacity
The venue offers luxurious event spaces for intimate and large gatherings, all of which provide you with exclusive use of the entire space for the evening. With an effortlessly elegant lounge vibe, the mezzanine provides a perfect space for cocktail hour and all-night socializing. The Gallery is a spectacular and well-lit room, popularly used for hosting ceremonies, and can accommodate up to 225 people. The Grand Ballroom is one of the most stunning areas in the building and can accommodate over 400 guests for a sit-down dinner. This spectacular room captures the essence of art-deco glamour and adds a sense of grandeur to your celebration. A dressing suite is also provided for use on the special day.

History
Built in 1936, The Eglinton Theatre epitomized the art-deco style of the era. Well known for its architecture, the theatre became known as the “Show Place of Toronto” and received the Royal Architecture Institute of Canada Bronze Medal. The stunning interior and furnishings drew people from all over Toronto for an unforgettable experience. Eventually, it was transformed into an events facility, which it remains to this day.

A Night To Remember
October 19,2019 will be a day remembered by many.
We couldn't have dreamed of a better wedding and it couldn't have been made possible without the Eglinton Grand venue and staff.
The venue is unique and has a beautiful history. All the details were perfectly place. The atmosphere had a certain je ne sais quoi about it.
However, the extraordinary team of people is what makes the venue what it is. They all have played such monumental part in making our day so very special.
A special Thank you goes to Teresa who was there for us every step of the way supporting and guiding us, giving us genuine advice and help
The food was spectacular, our signature drink Turned out Perfectly! And the service thourought the night was Stellar...such friendly, warm people. We couldn't ask for more.
Thank you Eglinton Grand for making our dreams come true.
PS. We will for sure come back for our vow renewal party!
A GRAND place to have a wedding
The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.
Paula and Teresa were very responsive and understanding with any last second changes we had.
The food was very well done and many guests had great things to say about it. The mushroom pasta and the steak were the highlight for most people.
All of our guests absolutely raved about the experience.
Glamorous Wedding!
The staff are responsive, professional and extremely helpful. The food and hors d'oeuvres were excellent - even the fresh popcorn during cocktail hour. EG provides a great value package and can work with your budget. EG works with their preferred vendors which makes it feel like a one stop shop, and I would also recommend them. Even down to them coordinating with our entertainment and outside vendors was a breeze. Overall, EG provided a stress-free wedding planning experience for us, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Us, the bridal party and the guests all felt like movie stars. We will remember this forever.

The weeks leading up to the wedding there was constant communication from the events manager Paula. She was calling and emailing promptly and was a pleasure to work with. The day of events manager Gleb was very polite and on top of everything. He went around to every table to ensure guest satisfaction with their meals. One thing to note, we wanted our speeches to happen throughout dinner, back to back to back. The DJ was fine with it but the Grand staff took formal dining etiquette into account and wouldn't allow speeches during serving and clearing which pushed us back a bit (like half an hour). Overall, our experience was absolutely fabulous, I would have our reception there a million times over, and the staff is so on top of serving. Wine glasses were never empty, food was served and cleared promptly, and bar service was efficient.

Everyone was amazed by the theme and the venue and how different it is from anything they have ever been to.
An now to the most important part which is the people at the venue.
We dealt with Sarah and Paula and we have no words to describe how AMAZING they have been throughout the process.
Not only would they accommodate the panic calls the week of the wedding. But they actually suggest things to make our life easier and our wedding even more magical. You can tell they are passionate about what they do and are genuinely helping out like they are our own wedding planners.
Even Artur the master of the sound and light at the venue was happy to jump on calls with us and accommodate all the ideas we had to make that night perfect. And it was just that.
The night went ahead without hiccups, and even if there were any which i am sure there was, the team there did an amazing job of handling it.
In short, this place is magical and unique and so are the people working there that happily made our dream wedding come to life.
