A Night To Remember

What a wedding!!!
October 19,2019 will be a day remembered by many.

We couldn't have dreamed of a better wedding and it couldn't have been made possible without the Eglinton Grand venue and staff.
The venue is unique and has a beautiful history. All the details were perfectly place. The atmosphere had a certain je ne sais quoi about it.
However, the extraordinary team of people is what makes the venue what it is. They all have played such monumental part in making our day so very special.
A special Thank you goes to Teresa who was there for us every step of the way supporting and guiding us, giving us genuine advice and help

The food was spectacular, our signature drink Turned out Perfectly! And the service thourought the night was Stellar...such friendly, warm people. We couldn't ask for more.

Thank you Eglinton Grand for making our dreams come true.
PS. We will for sure come back for our vow renewal party!

Our Perfect Wedding

My wife and I were married at The Eglinton Grand in November 2024 on our 10th anniversary together.

Our wedding couldn't have been any better. Teresa runs a pretty tight ship and we are so fortunate to have worked with her, Paula, Gleb and the entire TEG team. I know my wife and I and our family are glad we went with this venue. We have absolutely zero regrets or what ifs when looking back at our wedding.

The Gallery Room and the Main Hall were absolutely stunning for both our ceremony and reception. The entire property was perfect for cocktail hour, photos and dancing. Our only wish was to have had a couple more hours to enjoy the evening.

One of my favourite parts of booking TEG was the convenience of everything being centralized at one location. They have their own kitchen and staff and the food was by far and away the best wedding meal we and many of our guests (their words, not mine) have had a wedding. We didn't have to find an overpriced caterer or deal with the AGCO & LCBO either - they include bar options in wedding packages.

We hired many of the TEG's preferred or exclusive vendors - there are some very professional and talented companies that we connected with. Some of the ones we didn't hire were also very easy to deal with despite not being hired due to our own reasons and no fault of the vendors.

While planning the wedding was a lot of work, the venue being an former movie theatre leaves a lot of room for creativity and imagination for small and large details. Many of our guests credit their experience being so great with the venue's interior architecture and vibe (not just us or the food). If we had to do it all over again, I don't think we would do anything differently.

I hope one day we're fortunate enough to attend an event at TEG as guests and not as the ones throwing the party.

Met our expectations and more!

My husband and I were married and had our reception at the Eglinton Grand in November of 2024 and it was everything we had hoped for.

From the beginning of the planning process, Teresa always had time to answer our questions and help guide us through all our options and requests.

Closer to the wedding, Paula was there to make sure every little detail was as we had planned and was super helpful with any last minute requests.

I would also like to give a shout out to Gleb who made sure the night ran smoothly and was there if we needed anything on the day.

The highlight of course was the stunning and historic venue. All of our guests gushed at how beautiful and unique it was (with the help of our decorator, Elite Decor). The food (we went with the bone in beef rib) was also the best food we've ever personally had at a wedding and we had so many compliments on how amazing it was with people echoing the sentiment that it was by far the best they'd had at a wedding reception. Kudos to the kitchen and wait staff who made dinner service perfect.

All in all, I would 100% recommend this venue and the Eglinton Grand team to anyone looking for a beautiful venue, amazing food, and memorable night.

A GRAND place to have a wedding

I recently was married here and had an outstanding experience.
The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.
Paula and Teresa were very responsive and understanding with any last second changes we had.

The food was very well done and many guests had great things to say about it. The mushroom pasta and the steak were the highlight for most people.

All of our guests absolutely raved about the experience.

Beyond impressed

We had our wedding here and the evening was flawless. Teresa, Paula, Gleb and the rest of the staff were professional, kind, and a joy to work with. The bar service was amazing, and they took so much care in the drinks they made.
The team was accommodating and were always excited by ideas we had. The venue itself is stunning and our guests were treated so well.

Glamorous Wedding!

The second my husband and I came to tour The Eglinton Grand for our wedding we fell in love with the venue. EG offers special touches that no other venue can. You can really personalize your event. All our guests cannot stop talking about it!

The staff are responsive, professional and extremely helpful. The food and hors d'oeuvres were excellent - even the fresh popcorn during cocktail hour. EG provides a great value package and can work with your budget. EG works with their preferred vendors which makes it feel like a one stop shop, and I would also recommend them. Overall, EG provided a stress-free wedding planning experience for us, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

A dazzling and memorable Wedding!

We had the wedding of our dreams at Eglinton Grand. Our guests raved about the venue and the food, we all had a blast! Teresa was our first contact at the venue and was really helpful and quick to respond to any of our questions. Our main contact was Paula who was so helpful with helping us finalize all of our details; she was really kind and easy to work with. Our day-of contact was Gleb who was quick on his feet and ensured things ran smoothly. All of the other day-of staff, from servers to A/V, were kind and professional. Movie perfect day

What an amazing experience from start to finish, the Eglinton grand staff was very professional and did their best to accommodate everything that we asked from them. The food was better than the tasting and everything ran so smoothly. We’re very happy to have chosen the Eglinton for our wedding and will remember it for years to come.

Where do I start with the Eglinton Grand? As soon as Teresa showed us the venue we were hooked! Its charm and uniqueness captured the attention of all of our guests! My husband and I had a relatively shorter engagement (8 months) but Teresa allowed our timeline for payment and decisions to be smooth and effortless. We also booked when they had their "Inventory Sale" which is a great incentive to book to save some money!

The weeks leading up to the wedding there was constant communication from the events manager Paula. She was calling and emailing promptly and was a pleasure to work with. The day of events manager Gleb was very polite and on top of everything. He went around to every table to ensure guest satisfaction with their meals. One thing to note, we wanted our speeches to happen throughout dinner, back to back to back. The DJ was fine with it but the Grand staff took formal dining etiquette into account and wouldn't allow speeches during serving and clearing which pushed us back a bit (like half an hour). Overall, our experience was absolutely fabulous, I would have our reception there a million times over, and the staff is so on top of serving. Wine glasses were never empty, food was served and cleared promptly, and bar service was efficient.

The Most Incredible Experience

Eglinton Grand helped make our wedding day everything we wanted and more! All the staff especially Sarah and Paula are extremely helpful and quick with responses. The food, drinks and service was amazing and truly such a highlight. If you are looking for a venue that will be memorable for many reasons look into The Eglinton Grand!
