  The best wedding venue in all of Durham!

  Royal Ashburn Golf Club is the best wedding venue in all of Durham! My husband and I had our wedding there in Sept 2024 - leading up to the wedding, our wedding coordinator Sowmya went above and beyond to quickly answer any and all of our questions and requests including making sure the sky-lights were cleaned and the railing of the outdoor stairs were freshly painted! Their outdoor ceremony spaces are absolutely stunning. It did unfortunately rain on our wedding day but Sowmya made sure we didn't stress in the slightest and had the ceremony set up in one of their indoor locations which ended up looking absolutely beautiful and felt so intimate considering we had over 170 guests! The entire staff at Royal Ashburn made sure that my husband and I didn't have to lift a finger on the day of our wedding - making sure all our vendors were in the right place, helping guide the groomsmen on where to usher people, assisting our bridal party with their walk down the aisle, making sure we were fed and hydrated throughout the day and kept ON TIME with all the events of the day so I didn't have to worry. They even made sure to remind us about sunset photos during dinner service so we didn't miss out on golden hour! Everyone boasted about how delicious their meals were and that they were all served hot, there were no awkward delays in dinner service and they also were amazing at substituting for food allergies as we had quite a few guests with gluten allergies. One of the waitstaff even asked one of our guests that had a gluten and dairy allergy if they had tried the carrot cake from the dessert table (which was gluten and lactose free) and when our guest said no, the waitstaff hand delivered a slice to her and the guest said it was delicious! This just goes to show you that the entire team goes above and beyond and cares about all the little details which, as a detail oriented person, is such a relief when you're planning and organizing a huge event like a wedding.
  
  We also had our rehearsal dinner at their restaurant Farm and Founder the day before the wedding and they went above and beyond for this as well. The food was excellent and they even did custom off-menu cheesy garlic bread for the kiddos! If you are considering Royal Ashburn for your wedding venue then look no further - the venue is absolutely perfect in everyway. The team at Royal Ashburn will take the absolute best care of you, your spouse-to-be and all of your wonderful guests.

  Best Wedding Venue

  We picked Royal Ashburn Golf Club for our venue simply because we were hooked the minute we stepped foot during the Spring Wedding Show. Sowmya was a warm and welcoming host and my fiancé and I are so glad she was our wedding day coordinator! From the very first email, Sowmya was always there for us and answered all the questions we had. We chose the Cedar Garden and Compton Hall as our wedding day spaces for our September 21st wedding day. Everything was perfect, the Cedar garden is your perfect spot for an outdoor wedding and the Compton Hall’s solarium is truly the icing on top! Sowmya ensured that everything went smoothly on the day of our wedding and we were able to pull off a very successful wedding all thanks to her and the wonderful staff at Royal Ashburn. We were hosting a mixed wedding (Indian and North American) and food was a big priority for us. From the menu tasting for the North American food to a special tasting for the South Asian food, Sowmya made sure we were 100% satisfied with everything and on the day off, the staff pulled of the most seamless wedding buffet that our families couldn’t stop raving about. If you want a professional, kind, and caring venue, then Royal Ashburn should be on top of your list!

  Great venue

  We had a beautiful wedding in the Compton Room and Sowmya and the Royal Ashburn staff were amazing. Food was great, the photoshoot went smoothly, and the locations in general were awesome! We really appreciated it when Sowmya came out a couple of times during our photoshoot to bring out appetizers for us to eat, and even grabbed us blankets to stay warm while travelling around the golf course.

  We had a beautiful wedding in the Compton Room and Sowmya and the Royal Ashburn staff were amazing. Food was great, the photoshoot went smoothly, and the locations in general were awesome! We really appreciated it when Sowmya came out a couple of times during our photoshoot to bring out appetizers for us to eat, and even grabbed us blankets to stay warm while travelling around the golf course.

  Beautiful venue and amazing staff

  The Royal Ashburn was incredible. The grounds were gorgeous, we got lovely photos. We had our ceremony in the Cedar garden and our reception in the Compton room. The staff was amazing. Sownya, our coordinator was so sweet, kind and helpful. She kept me well fed and hydrated the whole day. They were on top of everything and made sure our day went smoothly. We didn't have to worry about anything.
  They had very decent pricing and were very accommodating. We're hoping to celebrate our anniversary there next year.

  Best day of our lives

  We had the best wedding day, literally the best day of our lives. Shout out to Shweta and Janene for dealing with my endless emails. Our original venue coordinator left the venue and once Shweta was on board she handled our wedding so effortlessly. From daily emails to the day of we were in good hands. The grounds are beautiful and we got the best photos! Ill attach one! Food was great, guests loved it! Highly recommend :)

The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and went out of their way to help us with every single detail of the day. Sowmya as our venue coordinator went above and beyond helping us, and ensured our day went absolutely perfectly. From the ceremony space, the grounds, reception space and sun room, it was absolutely beautiful. The food was amazing, and service staff were attentive and friendly. I absolutely recommend Royal Ashburn as a place to get married. A perfect one stop shop; ceremony space, cocktail hour area, photo opportunities, and massive reception space to comfortably fit all guests.

  Laane Wedding

  We just had our wedding here this past weekend and it was magical! The whole process from start to finish was so easy and enjoyable. We started with a coordinator who ended up leaving but Shweta stepped in seamlessly and made the transition unnoticeable. She was organized, caring and helped a ton when things maybe didn't go as planned. A big shout to Mike also who has amazing customer service skills and really went above and beyond for both me and my husband. Great food, great landscape, and great staff. Highly recommend for weddings ... hubby says the golf course is great as well!

  Gabriela & Bryce Wedding Aug 4, 2024

  My husband and I just did our ceremony and reception at the Royal Ashburn and we couldn't be more happier. The ceremony was held in the Cedar Garfens and the reception was in the Compton Room. The service was exceptional and all the staff were very responsive, professional and friendly. The food was amazing and plating presentation was perfect. Everything was done on time. The golf course itself was beautiful for photos my husband and I even got to do some photos on the pond at sunset. The wedding coordinator Sowmya Boddu is absolutely wonderful she went above and beyond to make sure everything went well she wore more than one hat and deserves all the credit she is very well suited for her role and she is like a wedding planner in my opinion she even made sure that my husband and I were comfortable and got to eat appetizers while taking photos. Mike the manager was also amazing super friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend this place if your looking to do a fairy tale wedding that is upscale. Thank so much for making our day so special.
