The Wascana Centre, a 930 hectare area, is located in the centre of Regina, Saskatchewan and was created by the provincial legislature all the way back in 1962. This is a great venue for a variety of special gatherings. Surrounded by rustic and rural beauty, this space is a great choice for soon-to-be newlyweds that want to enjoy the charm that nature offers.
Facilities and capacity
The Edna May Forbes Lady Slipper Courtyard and the Edna May Forbes Lecture Theatre are available to book together for reception and ceremony events. The courtyard is close to a serene garden and enclosed by a fence. This space is provided with five permanent outdoor tables that have benches attached with optional additional benches and two tables. While the lecture theatre is carpeted and seats a comfortable one hundred family and friends and is great for a banquet.
Services offered
Event services that are provided to prospective newlyweds include set up, chairs, tables and outside alcohol. The Edna May Lady Slipper Courtyard contains two charcoal BBQs while the Edna May Forbes Lecture Theatre has audio equipment including a sound system, projector and screen.
