Above and Beyond did the cupcakes and cake for my wedding this past weekend. They were absolutely delicious!! The setup was stunning and all of guests loved them!! I have a lot of food allergies and they were able to accommodate me. It was such a treat to have desserts that I can eat!

We ordered 150 cupcakes and 2 dozen (24) allergen-aware cupcakes from this bakery, in addition to a small 6-inch cutting cake for our wedding in Niagara Falls in July.
The cupcakes were delicious and so was the cake. We were very happy with the flavor.

However, I would not recommend this bakery. We did not receive our 2-dozen allergen-aware cupcakes. Our waitstaff counted our cupcakes and counted about 100-120. It was also incredibly difficult to place our flavor order with them in the weeks leading up to the bakery. We repeatedly emailed and phoned them and rarely received responses. We were not able to finalize our flavors until four days prior to our wedding.

When I phoned to inquire as to the missing allergen-aware cupcakes and queried the number of delivered cupcakes, the owner/manager was incredibly rude. She complained to me at length about how much trouble we had given her because we had not returned the stand in time. She also complained at length that our wedding event manager had not returned her phone calls. She then proceeded to complain about how on the day of our wedding she had 6 other deliveries to get to and that she could not find any staff to give the allergen aware cupcakes to at the wedding venue, on the morning of our wedding. She finally said she had given the 2-dozen cupcakes to “a guy” at the venue who “worked there”, but could not provide his name.

No staff at our event venue had signed for the delivery of the cupcakes and no one had seen them set up the cupcakes/cake.
This was the only vendor we had trouble with during an otherwise lovely wedding and I would not recommend their services until they are able to implement better customer service and better business practices related to delivery of their otherwise fine product. If you’re okay with lackluster (and very little) response, hearing lots of complaints about the work of running a small business, and zero customer service, then feel free to order your event cupcakes here.

Above and beyond cupcakes was a simple choice for me, their products are absolutely delicious. They are also a nut free bakery which was extremely important as many of my guests had allergies. Our wedding cake was exactly what i had asked for and it was beautiful.

Ryan & Stacey from Above and Beyond Cupcakes make amazing desserts! Our guests loved our sweets table at our wedding reception, full of cupcakes, cake pops, macarons and of course our beautiful wedding cake. They really brought my vision to life on this cake, it turned out so pretty, I almost didn't want to cut it up! ..but then I did because the inside was just as awesome, with an ombre layer colour effect, it was great! The girls helped set up the sweets table and I could not have done it better myself. Thank you Ryan and Stacey!

Above and Beyond Cupcakes made a cake and 100 cupcakes for our wedding. The food was wonderful and the price was very reasonable. However, cake was to be delivered between 11 and 3, and came at 3:15. Overall, wonderful service, would highly recommend the bakery :)
