Above and Beyond Cupcakes & Cafe specializes in vintage-inspired recipes. The staff hopes to create a dessert that evokes memories of your grandmother's baking. In addition, the staff enjoys using fresh, local ingredients as much as possible. The ladies are licensed by the health department and based in Welland, Ontario. They are ready to create something really special for your big day!

Experience

In 2008, Ryan Hegedus started creating delicious, yet beautiful, edible pieces for family and friends. In 2011, she joined forces with one of her lifelong friends, Stacey Clare. Ryan has experience in Business Management and Marketing through Niagara College Canada. Stacey has Culinary Training and a Red Seal in Chef Training. Together, the two were unstoppable. The duo perfected their recipes for more two years before opening on May 26th, 2012. The small business grew within six months, selling to cafes and restaurants.

Products offered

Gourmet cupcakes, cakes, and pastries are offered through the bakery. More than 100 flavours are offered. Other desserts can also be made. This includes cookies, dessert buffets, fruits, and groom's cakes.

Other services

Gluten free, lactose free, and vegan options are available for those with dietary needs. Dairy free, sugar free, and egg free options are also offered. The bakers use as much local ingredients as possible, including farm eggs, locally churned butter (organic), and local produce. The team maintains a facility that is chemical free, artificial flavour free, preservative free, peanut free, tree nut free bakery.
