Manal’s talent is unmatched. Her cakes are creative and the flavors are delicious. She creates custom cakes and flavors listening to and fulfilling all of your desires for your special day. Our cake topper was so gorgeous and everyone said the flavor of the cake was so delicious and unique. She did a custom flavor for us and made sure we were satisfied in every possible way. Manal thank you for making our special day extra special. I would recommend Manal Bashir Toronto for all of your events. You will get a professional product with a personal touch.

Absolute Masterpiece - Inside & Out

Thank you to Manal Bashir Pastry Co. for making our beautiful wedding cake, we absolutely loved it as well as our guests. It was a five tier masterpiece! Amazing to look at and amazing to eat as well! For our wedding we wanted a white cake with florals that matched our wedding theme. It is one thing to stick real flowers on a cake - which is beautiful, but it is another to handcraft hundreds of singular sugar flowers and place them individually on the cake (on-site); this was executed extremely well and takes immense skill and talent. Thank you to Manal Bashir Pastry Co. for making our beautiful wedding cake, we absolutely loved it as well as our guests. It was a five tier masterpiece! Amazing to look at and amazing to eat as well! For our wedding we wanted a white cake with florals that matched our wedding theme. It is one thing to stick real flowers on a cake - which is beautiful, but it is another to handcraft hundreds of singular sugar flowers and place them individually on the cake (on-site); this was executed extremely well and takes immense skill and talent. These hand-crafted sugar flowers not only are edible (we did not try as they are simply too beautiful to eat), they are legitimately the most REAL looking fake flowers we have seen in the business. Everyone thought they were real! Manal listened to the types and looks of flowers we wanted and did not want - through pictures and verbal description – and she delivered. The amount of detail on the flowers and especially the eucalyptus and hypericum berries were brilliant! We cannot imagine how much time and effort it took – it was absolutely gorgeous and we thank her for time.

During the consultation process, there were so many options for flavours. Manal let us sample each flavour and recommended some options that were not on the menu that we ended up choosing – such as Vanilla Hazelnut. A fan favourite during the tasting process was also the Lemon Chiffon, which was a nice combination of sweet and tart – not too sour or sweet – it was perfection.

Manal was extremely accommodating throughout the process and open to ideas, she is very knowledgeable in her craft and gave suggestions - we felt well-attended to and heard.
We could not have been happier with how everything turned out and we are very thankful we chose Manal as our cake vendor – even though we knew she was the vendor we wanted from the start. Thank you again Manal!! We highly rate and recommend Manal to everyone and for every occasion – big or small.

Samples Not Worth The Price

I have ZERO idea how there are so many good reviews on this place?
As the Place itself looks like a run down car shop in an industrial area. You aren't allowed inside to see the space or cakes and it doesn't even look like a bakery exists there.
They charge you for cake samples! And trust me when I say Save your money! Because these were SO GROSS!!! Me and my FH couldn't even tolerate more than One Bite of almost EVERY piece of cake we tried and i ordered one of every flavour.
I literally spat 3 back out and the salted caramel which normally would be my favourite was the most disgusting thing I've...

But up to date this is the ONLY cake tasting we literally couldn't finish a single piece of the Sample cakes and were left wondering how this place even does business as it wasn't just 1 or 2 of the cake samples we didn't like/couldn't even eat, but ALL of them!!
I would definitely NOT recommend this place or ever be going back. The $30 on cake samples I had to Throw Out was already too much of a waste of both time and money.

Thank you for your feedback and sorry to hear that our samples did not meet your expectations in terms of taste. As you mentioned in your review, we do have many 5 star reviews. This is because we take the taste of our cakes very seriously.

When it comes to our actual space, we are currently strictly online and for pre order as we launched our company in 2020 during the pandemic. We did not require a full fledged storefront and as a small business this is the setup that has worked best for us. We don’t advertise our location as a storefront anywhere on our site and our pickup instructions say “Thornhill Kitchen” which...

Best Bakery, saved the day!

Manal really saved the day with our wedding cake! We left our cake planning, later than we should have thinking we would go with a bakery we loved. The bakery we really liked turned out not to be as good at cake as they are their other pastries. So scrambling to find someone who could help us out 3 months to our wedding we miraculously found Manal Bashir Pastry Co.

If I could rate above the google ratings of 5/5, I would give them 100/5! The cake was so beautiful, but also beyond delicious. We found trying others bakeries cakes, that they are either beautiful or delicious but rarely both. We also got an assortment of macarons, tarts...

Delicious wedding cake from Manal Bashir

We tried many different cake places within the GTA and always referenced Manal Bashir's cakes when rating them. We always circled back to how delicious Manal's cakes were. We even tried their sampler packages on two separate occasions. Manal creates amazing looking and tasting cakes. We truly wanted a wedding cake that captured both, and Manal succeeded at that. We opted for a three-tier, three flavour cake enough for 100 servings. We chose Wild Berry, Chocolate Hazelnut and Salted Caramel. We have zero regrets. Everything was delicious, and our favourite flavour of the three, Wild Berry, ran out first! All of our guests have raved about the cake.

Would recommend Manal Bashir over and over again for cakes/desserts for any occasion!

Top of the line cakes for all occasion!

I was on the hunt for a cake vendor to create my wedding cake and found quite a few but none of them could quite understand my vision until I came across Manal Bashir!

Manal is simply amazing! She is super attentive and takes the time to sit down with you to help design your cake, just as you envision. She also provides you with sketches of your vision to ensure your cake looks exactly the way you want it! She is extremely talented in making beautiful cakes for any occasion!

What surprised me the most about her was that she is able to create cake decor simply out of sugar! When I asked her...

What surprised me the most about her was that she is able to create cake decor simply out of sugar! When I asked her to add specific florals to my wedding cake, she mentioned she could create any type of flowers using sugar and I cannot even express how real these looked! We were all so amazed!

Lastly, her cakes are SO delicious! I tried cakes from a few other vendors before I came across her and nobody can top the quality she provides! She knows the exact amount of sweetness to add, especially when pairing her cakes with buttercream! Some cakes can be overly sweet and iced heavily but Manal's cakes are just right! In terms of texture, her cakes are super soft, moist, and fresh, and can keep up to several days without becoming hard or dry!

Overall I had an amazing experience with Manal and cannot wait to place orders for future events!

Delicious!

Manal was great. Very responsive, reasonable price. We ordered a small rasmalai cake that was unique, delicious and a big hit at our wedding. We also had 1 teir or chocolate and 1 teir of vanilla. Guests were having second and third helpings of the cake it was so good. Still getting compliments.

Outstanding/fantastic/yummy
