Amazing cake and presentation
We got married in the summer and decided to contact Megan to help with our cake. The final product was great and many of our family and friends had great reviews on how it looked and tasted.

Delicious!
Megan is an absolute gem - she did our wedding cutting cake and also four dozen cupcakes for our guests. I also ordered the quartet tasting box from her so that we could have her cake for our welcome party, the night before our actual wedding. The cake tasting slices went so quickly - everyone loved them, and we personally really enjoyed each flavour. Megan was super quick to reply, and was so flexible with us changing the pick-up times for the quartet box. Will happily recommend Megan's beautiful baked cakes any time for any event :)

Wedding Cake & Cupcakes
We worked with Mooch Custom Confections for our wedding day. She made us a small wedding cake and cupcakes for our guest which were all delicious and beautiful. She was very responsive, easy to communicate with and professional. Her prices were very reasonable and she has lots of flavours, and designs to choose form. I would highly recommend working with Mooch!

Canadian Destination Wedding Wonders!
Megan was great to work with! She was extremely patient while I tried to figure out what I wanted for my wedding cake, and was very helpful with ideas and suggestions. The design we came up with was exactly what she created for my wedding day. She even incorporated sugar butterflies and my family heirloom vintage cake topper. Communication was top-notch as we were planning this destination wedding in a foreign country (Seattle WA to Squamish, BC Canada), and Megan had to coordinate delivery to the destination. However, the best part was the cake- it was delicious! We were so glad we chose her to make the perfect cake for our wedding. Highly recommended!

Great Experience !
We recently had Megan make our wedding cake for our August 12, 2023 Downtown Vancouver wedding at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Megan was very easy to communicate with and she made our wedding cake just the way as we discussed on the phone. Her chocolate & vanilla salted caramel flavors were delicious and complimented each other. The overall look of the "Amor" style wedding cake we chose looked just like the one she had on her website. Overall, our wedding cake experience with Mooch by Megan was easy and worth the money.

The most perfect wedding cake!
Megan did the cake for our wedding a few weeks ago and she absolutely killed it! She did such a great job. The cake was beautiful and EXACTLY what we hoped for, and all of our guests commented on how unique and gorgeous it was.
The cake was devoured by our guests during our reception, and everyone loved the flavours we picked (chocolate salted caramel and vanilla strawberry). Megan's buttercream is the best I've ever had -- I'm usually not a big cake fan because I find most buttercream too sweet, but Megan's was the perfect amount of sweetness, and so smooth and tasty. The cake itself was moist and also not overly sweet. Everyone had 2-3 servings and we literally had zero cake left by the end of the night.
We really can't recommend Megan's cakes enough! :)

Amazing Gluten Free Cake
I am so happy that we went with Megan for our wedding cake. She created the most beautiful delicious cake from the inspiration pictures that I provided. We were so happy to find a wedding cake vendor that provided gluten free options, which made the experience so much better for us. I would highly recommend her because the process is so smooth and simple, which is helpful when planning a wedding!

Megan is as amazing as her cakes are.
My request was a simple classic 2-tier cake with fresh florals in the colours of my wedding (pink and white), plus 1 simple piping to blend the line where the tiers were stacked. I couldn't be more impressed as she understood me completely. She even rents cake stands, which my partner and I did rent and returned the next day.
I do recommend the cake tasting box, so you can try the flavours she offers. That way you'll know exactly what you are getting.

Amazing cake and a pleasure to wok with!
We had the pleasure of working with Megan for our wedding cake. She was easy to work with and highly responsive. Megan provided the florals and she worked with our schedule to deliver the cake on time.
The cake exceeded our expectations, both in taste and how pretty it looked. We received many praises from our guests. We went with the high tea and strawberry matcha flavours, both were delicious and not overly sweet.
Would definitely recommend Megan and Mooch!

Best Cake Ever
Megan did the best job EVER on our cake. I changed the size and design a few times as we booked her two years before our wedding date- and she honoured her original price despite inflation and many companies that jump to current rate when you request a change. Megan did the most beautiful job. It was delicious, gorgeous, and she even sent a photo the night before to ensure we liked the flower placement. Not only that, Megan knew we were on a tight budget and gave us an extra tier at a great cost. Thank you so much for helping make our wedding day the best day of my life!

Owner & Pastry Chef
I am the owner and creator of all things sweet with Mooch. After receiving my BA from UBC, I continued on to study the sweeter things in life at The Culinary Institute of America. With a background in fine dining, the standards of kitchen cleanliness and "doing things right" are in the forefront of my mind. My attention to detail and constant strive for perfection is what makes our creations a work of art.
My grandmother used to make stunning cakes for our family weddings, and it brings me so much joy to know that I am following in her footsteps. I love getting to know my clients because they become part of my "Mooch family". I am lucky to have found my passion and to be able to share it with all of you. I look forward to hearing about your cakespiration and having the honour of being part of your Special Day.
