  Lovely addition to our wedding day

  We would recommend Shirley for your wedding or event! We did a combination of cake and cupcakes for our guests - The flavours were lovely and Shirley was responsive to all our questions. Samples were an easy pickup beforehand and Shirley was flexible to a few tweaks. Shirley was professional and everything went incredibly smoothly and to plan on the day of. Pricing was very reasonable! Shirley took time to set up our cake/cupcakes arrangement, and did an incredible job at using some of our flowers to put on the cake.

  Great Cake! Highly Recommend

  Loved the cake! Looked exactly as we had envisioned and tasted amazing! Was a huge hit at the wedding.

  Amazing Cake!

  We booked Shirley for our wedding in May. I was specifically looking for a lactose-free cake and was having a tough time finding a baker to accommodate. Shirley immediately ready to take it on, and even offered lactose-free cupcake sample to taste. We ultimately went with the Early Grey flavour (which I did not expect to taste as incredible as it did) and got overwhelming compliments on it. She even designed it in a very cute way with pearls and flowers to go with our theme. Thank you so much!

  Portuguese themed wedding cake

  I highly recommend Shirley for your wedding cake! :) she was wonderful the entire way, and perhaps the only vendor that did not give us anything to worry about :)
  She completely customized our cake for us, and was so flexible with our design. We couldn’t pick between all the delicious flavours and so we had different flavours for different tiers. 10/10 would recommend!

  Shirley’s Sweet Creations

  A couple of months ago Shirley made our wedding cake and it was absolutely lovely. She was always very professional from the moment we met with her to discuss the type of cake, size and flavours (and provided us with great samples to help us decide which flavours to choose! They were all delicious especially the red velvet and lemon raspberry with white chocolate which we ending up picking!)
  Her services are very reasonable and many of our wedding guests complimented us on how beautiful the cake looked as well as how yummy it tasted! She put real gold leaf flecks and real flowers (champagne pink roses) on it which looked amazing.
  We would definitely recommend Shirley’s Sweet Creations if you are looking for a beautiful and delicious cake for your wedding.

  Recommended to us by our photographer, Shirley made both our wedding cake and sugar cookie favours for our wedding reception this July. Shirley is extremely professional, flexible, approachable and easy to work with. Her work is incredibly detail oriented in her designs!
  
  As our wedding reception happened during the pandemic, she was incredibly understanding of the situation and was willing to work with us to make sure that we had a delicious cake, despite a decrease in our guest count. When I mentioned to her that we had a customized acrylic cake topper, she made sure that our cake design would work and match with the topper.
  
  We can't say enough good things about both the cake and the cookies, as our guests raved about the cake - it was a big hit! The cake was both beautiful to look at and delicious to eat - so moist and flavourful, with the right amount of sweetness. The cookies were also the perfect favour and matched our wedding colour scheme perfectly.

  This review is a little late but I had to come back and do this cuz we loved our wedding cake! We had our wedding cake done with Shirley in 2017. The experience and results of the final product was phenomenal. She made sure we were completely happy with the tasting with a good number of choices to choose from. I also provided her with some ideas that I wanted for my cake, which was a gaming cross nature/forest (Zelda theme) accents with gold finish (saw on Pinterest). She put together the most beautiful cake that the guests absolutely adored! It was also very delicious with the two types that each layer was made up of.
  Thank you Shirley! After 2 years, it is still one of the highlights of our wedding that we think of. Would definitely recommend!

  Beautiful cakes were delivered for our wedding, Shirley is a talented baker. She delivered despite challenges she had on the day of, 5 star for everything including her sense of responsibility.

The cake she made for us was an EXACT replica of what we asked for! The cake was also delicious. Shirley was extremely responsive to questions we had, delivered and set up the cake on time, and was overall very professional. The cake was excellent value as well. Highly recommend!

  Shirley was very accommodating with our specific dietary restrictions and was extremely helpful in explaining which cake would be best suited for our wedding. She was friendly, and very professional with all her work. The cake and the samples were delicious and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking to hire a baker for any occasion.
