The team at Sugar Suite has been such a delight to work with while planning a wedding during a pandemic! I came across them while searching for bakeries who made gluten free cakes in Toronto and while far from us, my now-husband and I decided to give it a try. We first worked directly with Kenzie at the beginning of the pandemic and she was so sweet and kind and creative - suggesting great ideas to help our vision come to life. And what really sold it to us were the cakes. We went with pink champagne which is just the most heavenly lightly-sweet perfect-for-a-wedding confection (we had it for 2 tiers). We had a third chocolate strawberry tier that was moist and perfectly balanced with the pink champagne icing. And to note, I'm not usually a fan of fondant as a flavour - but the fondant that they used had me coming back for more! Certainly to note, the cake was beautiful - we asked for a bunch of large sugar flowers that were stunning and for a unique painting of a motorcycle and VW Beetle around the side of the cake and they were so cute! Throughout the pandemic, with multiple postponements, Kenzie and later Liz helped us navigate our changing plans and were responsive to our changing plans and ideas. We know it was not easy at all and appreciate their understanding, patience, and hustle in making our wedding cake come to life and taste absolutely delicious. We had so many compliments - so many people couldn't tell it was gluten-free (and we forgot to tell the MC to announce it)! We enjoyed our tier a month later and we were not disappointed! We plan on getting a new fresh cake to celebrate our 1 year anniversary - and likely many more celebrations to come! [Their sugar cookies, cupcakes - definitely try their white chocolate raspberry and apple pie if you can!, brownies, and soft-baked cookies are simply the best! As a non-gluten-sensitive person married to a gluten-sensitive spouse, I'm the one who asks to make the journey across the GTA for Sugar Suites goods. Definitely give them a try!

Vegan pear caramel cake with vegan buttercream frosting

Exquisite! Deliciously moist crumb, fluffy texture, not overly sweet but just right with a hit of pear caramel at the centre. Gorgeous and better than I could have imagined!

Our wedding cake was so beautiful and delicious! We were getting compliments all night, and the guests couldn't believe it was gluten-free. As a bride with celiac disease, I loved being able to enjoy my wedding cake without any worries. We are looking forward to the next opportunity we have to order from Sugar Suite!

We had the best experience with Sugar Suite in Oakville. Kenzie and Liz were incredibly organized and professional, and made the whole process so easy for us as we were planning our wedding from the UK. We can’t rave enough about how easy the whole process was - from the initial phone call to discuss the details, to arranging our tasting for when we could enter the country (during covid times) right until the special day. My mother is celiac and we had one other guest who was as well so it was super important to us to have any worries of cross-contamination so it was the perfect place to order from. The cake was absolutely delicious - we went with lemon and strawberry! All our guests loved it, and they designed the most beautiful sugar flowers that looked so realistic.. I now have these on display and get so many compliments on them. We can’t wait to taste our top tier that we’ve frozen to have on our anniversary!

Working with Sugar Suite for our wedding cake was a breeze. We had such a great time at our in-person consultation where we had a chance to try all the different cake/frosting flavours, but also chat through what we were thinking for the overall look of the cake with the actual designer.

We ordered our wedding cake from Sugar Suite and it was perfect. The bakery is gluten and nut free and you would never ever know there's no gluten in their cakes! We had some Scottish touches that the bakery provided and it was well within our budget! The Calla lilies were made from sugar on the cake and they looked beautiful. We are so happy and the cake tasted amazing. The Dulce de Leche was particularly delicious! The cake was delivered no problem and we chose to rent a cake stand which we returned to the bakery. We had some little tasting cupcakes provided before we chose our cake flavours and honestly they were all so delicious... and gluten and nut free!

Sugar Suite was very helpful, from the first tastings to designing our very own cake. Everything was delivered on time and tasted great.
