I emailed the owner 2 months before our tasting to notify her our wedding date had changed, she responded quickly and said the date was still available at this time. Therefore we purchased tickets for a tasting evening in Edmonton (we’re from Calgary). On the day of the tasting I was no longer sure if I had mentioned the wedding day change. When I called their front desk, the employee told me my name was still written under the wrong wedding date and did not know if my new wedding date was available. I tried to call three more times and left a voicemail but got no answers. So we went to Edmonton anyways for the tasting as we’re running out of time to find catering. Upon arrival I asked the employee running the tasting night to please ask someone if my new wedding date was still available as I would like to know before I sit down for dinner tonight. We told her that in total we will have done 6hrs of driving for this tasting tonight and took a day off work to be here not to mention 25$ in parking and 60$ ticket for the dinner. She never got back to us with an answer and quickly urged us inside for the tasting instead.
The charcuterie they served tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. The crackers were stale the cheese was crusted. We didn’t like any of the desserts and they didn’t bring enough for everyone to try them all. The cookies on the dessert table were soggy. When we asked if they could bring out an extra chocolate mousse for us to try we got told “it’s just a chocolate mousse, we don’t have anymore left”. Coming to a taste you expect the caterer to try and impress you…
Safe to say we won’t be going with this catering company.

We had A Capella catering do my engagement party and we absolutely loved everything that they brought! Because it was a smaller and more casual event we went with the hor d'oeuvres menu and the hardest part was having to stop eating! The food was delicious, there was something for everyone from the pickiest eaters to those with allergies as well. I would absolutely recommend them for anyone looking for a caterer, and will be using them for my wedding in November as well!

We hired A Cappella catering for our wedding. Their food was amazing, was hot and ready to serve, and tasted great. All our guests commented on how great the food was. There were just a few problems with quantity of a few items. We added on perogies for an extra cost per person. At least a quarter of our guests did not get any perogies. I'm not sure if they just had enough for one per person, but many guests took more than one, including me. We also ran out of caesar salad very quickly. I assumed they would have refilled the bowl once it ran out, but they did not. Also, the slaw we taste tested at our tasting was not the same that was served. The one that was served was just coleslaw from a bag, not as good at all. If I would have known this about the salads I would have ordered double caesar salad and no slaw. A Cappella has delicious food, there were just a few issue with the quantity of some items.

This company is AMAZING!! I had nothing but a good experience working with them. They were one of the only companies that got back to me with a quote within a day. Anytime I emailed, I received a response that same day. I wasn’t sure what to expect, as we didn’t do a tasting but once I saw the beautiful professional set up on the day I was blown away. I received nothing but compliments on the food (brisket). The staff was amazing to work with during the event and I couldn’t be happier. It’s great to know the money you spent is worth it! Couldn’t recommend them more for your event.

The food was amazing and guests could not stop talking about it. We barely had any leftovers because people kept going back for more. It was so good. They were super easy to work with and took care of everything for us on the day of so we didn't have to worry about anything! The quality of service was top notch!

We had a little mix up on our wedding day where the truck showed up 2 hours late to our event but they were quick to pick up when we called in a panic. It was a simple mess up but the food was still really tasty and everyone was pretty please with their meals they were very polite, quick, and professional with the fairest prices around!!!

This is my 3rd time having acapella and this one was for my wedding day, from communicating with Melissa on the details to the execution the day of. It was nothing short of wonderful. They replied fast and efficiently to all my questions and everything was served on time. Not to mention the food was delicious! We went with the BBQ package of steak and chicken, everyone loved it and the price is reasonable. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

My finance had a tasting at our venue with A Capella catering about half a year before our wedding . Long story short it was not the best and we were scrambling thinking of where to go from there. My fiance and I decided to give them another chance I know it seems risky for the wedding to take a chance. But A Capella catering superseded all of our expectations on the day off, guests keep raving to me about how amazing the food was!

A Cappella Catering was the preferred caterer for our Wedding Reception venue. We had a tasting at the venue, and were happy with the food, although not really blown away by anything. My now-husband and I aren’t picky though and figured the food would be perfectly fine for the wedding, plus we did like that their location was close to our venue and they had worked there before. Given that there is no kitchen at the venue, keeping everything hot and staging it all would be interesting if we did choose another company that hadn’t been to the venue or was further away. We were also able to order other options for takeout that weren’t offered at the tasting on a later date so we could really make the best choices for our menu.

The venue had just opened a couple months prior to this tasting event, so maybe by the time our wedding came around the following year, all the kinks had been worked out, because everyone (myself included) was blown away by how amazing all the food was! We got absolutely rave reviews saying it was the best wedding food they had ever had, and we actually agreed - the food was better than we could have imagined, almost completely different from the tasting!

The only things I would recommend is if you order hors d’oeuvres, perhaps pass on the salad rolls. They’re made with a paper wrapping that sticks to the roll and most of the guests wound up eating the paper, but really, that was a minor thing and no one even complained about it. Also, if you order the Greek Salad it may look a little more like a vegetable platter instead of being mixed as a salad, but otherwise, everything was so delicious and flawlessly laid out that I would definitely highly recommend A Cappella Catering for any wedding/event!

The premium buffet was very delicious and the brisket was a big hit! Everyone was pleasantly satisfied and had full bellies. The only criticism I have is that the food had gotten cold quite quickly.
