Incredible and unforgettable menu

This was such an incredible experience. From the get go when we found out about your bespoke catering menu, to the tasting session, we knew it was going to be incredible! Being able to have an intimate, cozy, and delicious meal is everything we could have wanted, and you folks absolutely delivered.

When the wedding day finally came, your team was amazing at making sure we actually ate (not an easy task on such a wild day), and we really appreciated that extra care and attention! And just like we expected, our friends and family haven’t stopped raving about the food.

This was such an incredible experience. From the get go when we found out about your bespoke catering menu, to the tasting session, we knew it was going to be incredible! Being able to have an intimate, cozy, and delicious meal is everything we could have wanted, and you folks absolutely delivered.

When the wedding day finally came, your team was amazing at making sure we actually ate (not an easy task on such a wild day), and we really appreciated that extra care and attention! And just like we expected, our friends and family haven’t stopped raving about the food.

Incredible Food, Unique To Us!

Chau were wonderful, from our introductory call to scope out a possible menu, working with us to make everything as economical as possible, while making sure the food was 'us' and delicious! All of our guests loved the food, and Chau went above and beyond to make sure even the most stringent dietary needs were met. Would recommend to anyone!

Chau is incredible!

From the very beginning, the team at Chau was helpful, responsive, and friendly. The planning of our wedding dinner was handled with great care, and the service at the event was great. The food was excellent and received lots of praise from our guests.

Thank you Chef Jane & Team - you're amazing!

Choosing Chef Jane and her team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, other than our venue. We got married at the Madison Greenhouse where they are now an official preferred caterer, finally having an option for people who have asian backgrounds, and want to serve up a modern yet authentic experience. We were so fortunate to book in for a tasting menu to get a sneak peek of our wedding menu - which was an incredible gift and experience for our bridal party. Choosing Chef Jane and her team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, other than our venue. Deliciousness

The food was sooo good and we got great feedback from our guests. Chau was accommodating and helped us to tailor our menu to reflect our love for ethnic food.

Great team with delicious bespoke menu

Chau was amazing and incredibly easy to work with, their team was detailed in outlining everything for us. Their day-of team was quick to adapt to sudden changes (there was a heat wave and our guests desperately needed ice/water to cool off upon arrival).
The food itself was exactly what my husband and I were looking for in our wedding (Asian fusion). We were told by some friends/family that wedding food doesn't really matter and to just pick whatever because people will forget the food, but I'm so happy we made the effort to find a good catering team that fit our vision because I still have guests raving to me about how much they loved the food. My only regret with Chau's is that I didn't eat enough!

Hidden gem for catering!!

My husband and I are both Chinese and big food enjoyers. We love contemporary foods that bring new exciting flavors to the palate and fusion dishes that encompasses flavors we enjoy from different cultures. Chau catering team did that justice for our wedding day! It is typical that most Chinese weddings would include a standard 12-course meal that many are familiar with. We knew that we did not want that for ourselves but somehow showcase our love for food and each other to shine. Chau catering team did that justice for our wedding day! It is typical that most Chinese weddings would include a standard 12-course meal that many are familiar with. We knew that we did not want that for ourselves but somehow showcase our love for food and each other to shine. We did google searches for catering and Chau was the first to pop up (and for good reason!). We read many reviews about how they create custom menus for each couple depending on what they wanted or their cultural background, and we felt like it was a good fit for ourselves. Working with Jane and her team has been wonderful as they are transparent, quick to respond, and organized. We were one of the first few couples to use this new portal system that allowed for organized communication and I would say that helped the process a lot because I knew where to go if I needed information! The portal helped organize our invoices, any attachments that were sent, and organized emails based on the topics. Jane and her team love to plan ahead which is music to my ears as a type A person who also loves to stay ahead of the game when possible. However, if we were limited on waiting for other vendors to reply to us, they were flexible in giving us time to correspond back to them. I am so grateful too for the opportunity to have a tasting session before the big day! We pointed out things that we loved and food items that needed to be swapped out. We even presented details we thought weren't possible but Jane said yes to it all! For example, we had a truffle siu mai as a canape but we thought could use a little boost. My MIL asked if it was maybe possible to have a little bit of broth to be added. Jane said yes and thought immediately to use little spoons for the siu mai to sit in the broth. These tiny details made such an impact to be during the process of wedding planning. Jane, also having been in the industry, helped provide pointers on things that we didn't think about for reception such as timing for each course as to not collide with entertainment, etc. We were also very grateful for her expertise in that too. On the actual wedding day, our food was absolutely amazing! Whenever we had a chance to speak with guests about food, it was nothing but good reviews. Our guests loved that it wasn't a traditional course, and that it was something new and exciting that they haven't seen before. Guests have also mentioned to us that they were beyond full and kept trying to eat more because it was all so tasty! My husband and I shared a similar sentiment as we were very full after cocktail hour and the first course. We nibbled on some of our second course and eventually asked for a goodie bag to pack away some food for us to enjoy days later! Which, might I add, was somehow still just as delicious and flavorful even after being microwaved again- haha! We are so proud of our menu and that couldn't have happened without Jane and her team at Chau catering. We had several guests with severe allergies or dietary restrictions that were easily managed by the team as well. One of our guest had a very sensitive condition that limited their ability to eat most foods, and even then, Jane adjusted the menu accordingly so that they could enjoy the food equally as much. This was another detail that was greatly appreciated because it showed how much they go the extra mile to ensure the wedding day food was enjoyed and loved by all. A final note to add is the amount of options that were provided as well. Jane's expertise starts from cocktail hour canapes, to main courses, to even station bars depending on what the couple wanted. We were so excited to have a late night ramen bar at our wedding. After the dancing, many guests were happy to have a quick nibble of noodles and some gourmet toppings as a little treat to end the night. I am so grateful for this because it meant we didn't have to source out another vendor to have it happen! All in all, we cannot thank Chau catering team enough for making our wedding menu so unique, but also going the extra mile in so many ways as well. I highly recommend to anyone considering an outside caterer to provide a unique menu for you with tons of options- with the only limiting factor being how much you can eat in one night!

Creative and professional Wedding Catering with Chau

We could not be happier with the service that we received from Chau. Hands down of the best decisions we made for our wedding!!

As we all know, food and beverage are one of the most important parts of a wedding and what the guests will remember! The service that we received could not have been more perfect for what we were looking for. Our guests still cannot stop talking about the amazing food and signature cocktails that we served at the wedding!

On the day of the wedding, there was a little hiccup with rain right before our (untented) ceremony/reception. Our amazing vendors, including Chau, somehow found a way to make everything work and...

The service that we received could not have been more perfect for what we were looking for. On the day of the wedding, there was a little hiccup with rain right before our (untented) ceremony/reception. Our amazing vendors, including Chau, somehow found a way to make everything work and Chau's team was instrumental in this.

We hosted an elegant backyard wedding for 70 guests Sept 2023. We were looking for catering that was creative, interesting and delicious. Chau absolutely delivered! Our menu was Vietnemese/Mexican inspired. Jane and her team were accommodating and excellent throughout the whole process. We also especially appreciated the modifications that they made for allergies and particular eaters. They even brought out a special plate for my father, which was so helpful! They also saved a plate of appetizers for us (the bride and groom) which was so helpful. They also were flexible and willing to make our kitchen set up work, which saved us thousands of dollars.

On the day of the wedding, Chau brought a fun and classy touch to our event with their excellent servers and bartenders. Their service manager, Ashley, was also awesome and made me feel at ease throughout the evening. The value and execution of their service is unparalleled. This whole experience made me wish that I worked in weddings so that I could hire them again.

We are so happy and grateful to have worked with Jane, Ashley and their team! Wish we could relive (and re-eat) it all over again :D Thank you so much Chau!

Jane is an amazing chef & organizer & person to work with,.

She created a very unique menu for our Wedding and our guests definitely LOVED the menu she designed.

Jane's crew also helped us in arranging our amazing Bartenders, the very personal wait-staff and all the catering cutlery and all the dishes. There would not have been any way that it could have gone smoother without the assistance of their crew.

The only minor issue was one colleague kept getting our names wrong during several of our meetings which was a little nerve-wracking in-case we got mixed up with somebody else. Also, similarly there were things that were discussed in previous meetings but had to...

However, I am 100% glad we chose Chau and especially Jane for catering our wedding and delivering the dishes that were way beyond our expectations, and would 100% recommend them for any weddings or any future events! (P.S pricing was also super competitive compared to other vendors) :)

Amazing team and amazing food!

Working with the team at Chau was amazing! We met with a lot of different caterers when we were planning our wedding, and Chau immediately stood out to us. We had an initial call with Jane where we discussed our food tastes, backgrounds, etc and she planned a menu for us that played off of our cultural backgrounds and the things we liked, but also remained open and neutral enough that all of our guests would also love the meal.

I have to say that the real stand out from our wedding though was the staff that Chau brought in. The servers and bartenders were truly so incredibly kind and awesome. A couple of them helped my husband...

Jane and her team were also so supportive leading up to the wedding. When things were getting the most stressful, they really stepped up helping us figure out how much alcohol we needed to buy, planning our signature cocktails, helping with rentals, etc. I couldn't believe how helpful they were. The team is incredible, the food is incredible, we're so happy that we decided to go with Chau for our wedding!
