Exceeded expectations
Bob and his staff were totally professional. He helped me arrange the seating to create a welcoming space for my guests. They set up and cleaned up quickly and the service was unobtrusive and attentive. Bob also made late arrivals feel welcome and made a special plate for them. The food was excellent. Liz and Bob helped me create the menu and determine how much to order. There were few if any leftovers. Everything was seamless and I would highly recommend Bob to anyone hosting an important event.Bob and his staff were totally professional. Gourmet Goodness
Gourmet Chef At Your Table provided outstanding service on our wedding day. We truly appreciate all of the hard work and attention to detail they put into our special day. Everything was above and beyond expectation and made the day that much more memorable for us. The food was incredible, all of the guests were raving about how delicious everything was. Their attention and care to ensure my dietary restrictions were met was beyond thoughtful. The entire team was so helpful, friendly and extremely kind. They even hunted me down throughout the night with little plates just for me and made sure I had enough to eat. The midnight snacks were a hit and kept the party going. Everything was AMAZING!!!!
Bob is a consummate professional and is incredible at what he does. From the very beginning stages of wedding planning, Bob was so helpful - from providing honest input and recommendations for our wedding menu, to helping us save money where possible, and meeting with us two weeks before the wedding to iron out every single detail imaginable. To say that Bob played an integral role in our wedding would be a massive understatement - he was like our second wedding coordinator!
Bob took great care in ensuring that all dietary accommodations were made for the safety of our guests. The serving staff couldn't bring the hors d'oeuvres out fast enough and they were gone within seconds -...Bob is a consummate professional and is incredible at what he does. The entrées were literal perfection; the dessert was equal parts light and decadent; and the late night snacks were a huge hit. Every single guest at our wedding made a point of letting us know how amazing the food was - many said it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding and although we might be a little biased, we absolutely agree!
Thank you, Bob, and your entire team for making our wedding such a special and memorable one. We hope to find more opportunities to work with you all in the future! -

Absolutely Amazing Experience!
Chef Bob was an absolute pleasure to work with. My partner and I got engaged and planned a wedding within a month, which is stressful enough, and were worried about obtaining excellent food for us and our guests in such a short time frame. With Chef Bob and his team, food and service was something we didn’t have to worry about in the slightest. He was so attentive to our wants and needs, even fulfilling a few last minute requests with apparent ease.
The food was EXCEPTIONAL. Our guests are still raving about it! We had a formal four course sit down dinner after an array of Hors D’Oeuvres, with each course tasting even better the last....Chef Bob was an absolute pleasure to work with. My partner and I got engaged and planned a wedding within a month, which is stressful enough, and were worried about obtaining excellent food for us and our guests in such a short time frame. With Chef Bob and his team, food and service was something we didn’t have to worry about in the slightest. He was so attentive to our wants and needs, even fulfilling a few last minute requests with apparent ease.
The food was EXCEPTIONAL. Our guests are still raving about it! We had a formal four course sit down dinner after an array of Hors D’Oeuvres, with each course tasting even better the last. My husband being a chef was skeptical at first, but now has nothing but praise for our entire experience. We capped it off with a lovely coffee station to wake us up from our delicious food coma just in time to get the party started.
Even better than the quality of food (which was amazing, so that’s saying something) was the service of his staff. From the chefs, to the servers to the bartenders, each and every one of them were kind and knowledgeable, treating every guest with the utmost respect and giving us as all a wonderful experience.
Thank you so much to Chef Bob and your entire team for making our wedding day the day of our dreams, a day we will never forget. We are truly grateful for all of you, from the bottom of our hearts.

The best meal we ever had!!
I used Gourmet Chef to cater my wedding and it could not have been more perfect. Bob was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process - helping me navigate rental items, finding creative ways to shave dollars off the budget here and there, etc... I truly felt like I had a partner working alongside me, looking out for my best interests and personally invested in making sure my day was absolutely perfect.THE FOOD! The food was mindblowingly good - I think every single guest followed up with us at some point after the wedding to let us know it was *the best* wedding meal they have ever had - and for some, the best meal they ever had, full stop....I used Gourmet Chef to cater my wedding and it could not have been more perfect. Bob was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process - helping me navigate rental items, finding creative ways to shave dollars off the budget here and there, etc... I truly felt like I had a partner working alongside me, looking out for my best interests and personally invested in making sure my day was absolutely perfect.THE FOOD! The food was mindblowingly good - I think every single guest followed up with us at some point after the wedding to let us know it was *the best* wedding meal they have ever had - and for some, the best meal they ever had, full stop. My sister even went home the next night and tried to recreate one of the dishes, she loved it that much. My deepest gratitude to this entire team of talented chefs and hospitality staff - you truly took every shred of stress or anxiety I had and turned it into pure joy. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I hope I have the opportunity to throw another event, just so I have reason to cross paths with Bob and his team again. -

More than I was expecting!
Chef Bob & his team are absolutely incredible. He catered our wedding & from day one he was so responsive, friendly & organized. He thought of things that I didn’t think of. He was extremely flexible with all of my COVID changes, going from 175 people to 50 to 25, he didn’t bat an eye, even two weeks before when we completely changed venues, he had no problem with that & made it work perfectly. He came with bartenders as well which was an added bonus! Highly highly recommend hiring Bob for any party you have. We look forward to working with him in the future! Exceptional Food! Exceptional Service!
There a not enough words to describe how pleased I am with Chef Bob and his incredible team! We had him cater a family wedding and as with all things COVID plans were continually changing and Bob was more than accommodating and willing to adjust to the ever-ongoing daily changes that came up. He was incredibly easy to communicate with and was very prompt with reply’s and answering any and all the questions we had. With regards the food, it truly was nothing short of exceptional! To this day the guests have raved about the meal served and have continually said that they've never had a better beef tenderloin. In fact all of the food from the hor d'oeuvres,...There a not enough words to describe how pleased I am with Chef Bob and his incredible team! We had him cater a family wedding and as with all things COVID plans were continually changing and Bob was more than accommodating and willing to adjust to the ever-ongoing daily changes that came up. He was incredibly easy to communicate with and was very prompt with reply’s and answering any and all the questions we had. With regards the food, it truly was nothing short of exceptional! In fact all of the food from the hor d'oeuvres, to the entrees to the deserts, everything was delectable and so skillfully prepared.
Not only did the food beyond exceed our expectations but the servers and the level of professionalism of Bobs team was very impressive and we couldn’t have been more pleased. I can say with 110% certainty that the service we were provided by Bob was truly unmatched. Without a doubt hiring Bob to cater the wedding was the best decision made, and we couldn’t have been more fortunate to have such a skilled chef prepare the food for us on such a special day for our family. We certainly will be hiring him again in the near future!!

We had the absolute pleasure of using Bob Friesen's services for our daughter's June 20th wedding dinner that we hosted at our home for a group of 6. When our daughter's plans had changed significantly, we contacted Bob less than two weeks prior to the event and he was able to accommodate our needs. The result was a fabulous meal that surpassed our expectations. Bob's attention to detail and his use of fresh ingredients was evident. The plating of the various courses was beautiful and his service was top notch. Apart from his obvious culinary talents, Bob is a gentleman and we would not hesitate to use his catering services in the future.
