We had a cocktail style reception of “heavy appetizers” for 30 people at our friend’s home. All of the food tasted great, there was more than enough for our group, our guests left fed and happy.
Communication leading up to our wedding wasn’t great unfortunately, and allowed for some fine details to be overlooked which made it difficult for my husband and I to fully appreciate the meal and experience. There was no follow up from the coordinator to ensure things went well or to provide feedback, which may have alleviated some of our concerns or at least left us feeling as though they cared about our experience. We left feeling pleased with the quality of the food, but since their reputation for their restaurants is superb we had higher expectations. They might be a bit jaded and make less efforts in their catering, which is really too bad.
