Harvey and the team from Rovey deserves nothing less than a resounding 5 stars! From our very first meeting to the last bite, his attention to detail and culinary expertise shone through. Our guests are still raving about the delicious food, beautifully presented. Harvey and his team effortlessly accommodated dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring everyone left satisfied. Beyond the food, Harvey's professionalism and friendly demeanor put us at ease throughout the planning process. He even helped with the coordination on the big day, going above and beyond his catering duties. If you want a true professional for your special day, Harvey is the one to trust. We are so grateful that we went with Rovey for our Chinese reception menu. From the first bite into the suckling pig all the way through to the dessert, all the courses were AMAZING! We heard so many of our guests mention to us how full and satisfied they were with the meal. We appreciated that the food was cooked on-site, and that they were flexible with the menu. We also really appreciated the full 10-course vegetarian menu to accommodate our guests with dietary restrictions without taking away from their meal experience. Aside from the food, Roger and Harvey are very experienced and provided a lot of great suggestions to us throughout our wedding planning journey. Harvey is a flexible, professional and experienced catering coordinator. We outsourced for Harvey after trying out a food tasting to confirm the quality. THE FOOD WERE DELICIOUS! We ordered a 12 course meal from Harvey. His staff delivered each course with care. Harvey also went out of his way to meet with venue coordinator to confirm all equipment and space. We highly recommend Harvey (Rovey) to any bride looking for a Chinese meal. We will definitely go back to Harvey for any future event!

Roger and Harvey from Rovey Catering had been a pleasure to work with since the very beginning. Prior to our menu tasting, Harvey was our main point of contact via email. He had always been helpful and prompt with his responses to any questions we had, making it very easy to communicate with him. 

When we met in person for the tasting, Roger accompanied us and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience for us and our parents. We were impressed not only with the food quality, but also with Roger's patience and knowledge. He was extremely detail-oriented and even gave us a lot of tips and reminders on other aspects of our wedding planning. 

We were lucky to have both Harvey and Roger present on our wedding day to assist with coordination between their catering team and our venue staff and wedding MC. Although our reception rundown was a little behind schedule, the flow of the night was still very smooth. The food was fresh and delicious as expected and Rovey's servers were friendly and courteous.

We have been to countless weddings where it’s always been the typical steak or salmon dinners that were nothing to write home about. We wanted something different... something that would show our guests how much we love good food and that’s when we found Rovey Catering.

From the first day of planning to the night of the reception, Harvey and Roger were very flexible to our needs and preferences by letting us customize the menu exactly how we wanted. During the menu tasting, they made sure to listen to any feedback any of us had for every course so they could adjust it accordingly for the wedding day.

During our reception, all our guests would not stop raving about the quality of the food as well as the service; even saying how it was the best wedding meal they've ever had. We wholeheartedly agree with them. All twelve courses were phenomenal and there was more than enough to eat for all our guests. In fact, there were many who were full half way through the meal!

It was very important for us to have a traditional chinese wedding banquet, and our venue the Guild Inn set us up with Rovey, who did a fantastic job.

The quality of the food was excellent, and on par with any wedding I've been to, and they were extremely professional from start to finish. They have a lot of options, so if you want to make adjustments (eg. no shark fin, or different type of crab claw etc) they are amenable. They also have gluten and lactose free options for your guests, which was appreciated.

The servers were also really nice, especially the ones that served the head table. They made sure my wife and I were able to enjoy our meal (as much as possible at least!) and made sure that any extra portions were given to us or our bridal party and not wasted! (which always bugs me haha) Also they coordinate with your planner so that the service flows with your schedule (eg. for games and slideshows and speeches) which I thought was really nice too.

Their servers also went the extra mile and helped us set up the tea ceremony, as we didn't have a lot of experience, and showed us how to properly do it.

Also Roger and Harvey were present and made sure everything went smoothly and overall I cannot say enough nice things, except to wholly recommend their services.

Rovey Catering delivered service that was beyond our expectations. Harvey was very flexible in catering to our needs and preferences. Roger was attentive throughtout the night of the wedding. He came to check on us many times to make sure things were going smoothly. The food was delicious and the quality was consistent with what we had at the tasting. Portions were large and many of our guests left with bellies full of happiness. I highly recommend Rovey Catering for all your Chinese catering needs. You won't be disappointed!

I was very impressed with Rovey's service the moment I emailed to inquire. Harvey sent a thorough pricing information on menu packages along with a beautiful spreadsheet of all the venues and their pricing information. They are quick with answering questions and very accommodating. I have heard word of mouth that Rovey's catering quality is very consistently good so I am excited to work with them.

Harvey and team catered our wedding in early July and their service was impeccable. As food was a priority for our wedding, we found Harvey through a recommendation from a friend and reached out. He was very helpful in suggesting a venue, we toured a few venues and ended up going with the Hilton in Markham (which we also highly recommend). Since the Rovey team was based in the Hilton, this enhanced our wedding experience. From doing menu tasting to serving the head table, the entire Rovey team was extremely professional and experienced. They let us try out the menu and make any substitutions we needed. Everyone at the wedding loved the food, including the vegetarian option. Harvey was very accommodating and knowledgable regarding the food and the traditions related to it. Highly recommend Harvey and the Rovey team for your next catering event!

Harvey and his team were great and provided a unique experience for our guests: Chinese banquet hall food served as individual portions (French style, without a turntable as is typical of a Chinese restaurant). They were professional and accommodating to last minute changes by our guests.
