  Great Vegan Options For Wedding

  Working with Truffles was a great experience. We wanted an all vegan wedding and they did a wonderful job looking after our wants and needs. They also looked after all of the extra rentals we needed for the big day (dishware, glasses, bartender, etc) The staff who came for our wedding was exceptional and our guests enjoyed the food immensely. Would definitely recommend Truffles for any occasion.

  Professional, Excellent Food and a Pleasure to Work With

  I had the opportunity to partner this year with Truffles for their Spring Fling industry event at the VanDusen Botanical Garden.
  
  Not only was it a pleasure to collaborate with Genevieve administratively, but as the performer playing music for the event I had a front row seat to the guest experience.
  
  I was greatly impressed with how professional and well executed this event was. I had the chance to speak with multiple guests and it was obvious that everybody loved the food and the experience overall. I happily and freely recommend Truffles for your event!

  Five Stars Caterer in Vancouver

  Truffles Fine Foods is a professional catering company in Vancouver BC. Starting from the preparation of proposal to our big day, Truffles is very organized and detailed to make sure we have everything we need on our wedding day. The on-site staffs are professional, friendly, polite and well cooperated.
  
  All our guests were very impressive by the canapés. We also had the three courses from their Spring/Summer menu.
  Appetizer: Miso Glazed Pork Belly : 4 stars
  Entrees:
  Beef Sirloin (medium rare): some guests were served with medium, some with medium rare: 4 stars
  or
  Albacore Tuna: 5 stars
  Dessert: Dark Chocolate Salted Caramel Tart: guests feedback too sweet for them: 3 stars
  
  Catering can be expensive, especially if you require food to be served instead of buffet style, as well as rentals and staffing. Food price are reasonable, about $100/guest.
  
  I would say their servers are outstanding! When we were so busy taking photos etc, they saved some canapés for us. They are not just doing their job, but they know who need extra attention and care. Apprenticed!

  Amazing Food! Great Service!

  The food and service on our big day was outstanding thanks to Truffles! Melissa and Scott were easy to work with and understanding of changes that needed to be made throughout the whole planning process.
  
  There was a slight misunderstanding about some of the financial logistics after we needed to postpone our event five days out, but Melissa and Scott worked hard to ensure we were happy and felt comfortable with the changes going forward!
  
  One the day, the staff was all so incredibly kind and respectful. They followed all guidelines for health and safety for the pandemic, but also made sure each one of our guests were happy and full. I am still thinking about the pork belly appetizer, our amazing entrees and delicious desserts!
  
  We couldn't be happier with how delicious the food was and can't recommend them enough!

  good overall

  We decided to go with Truffles because we had wedding in VanDusen Garden and Truffles is conveniently located inside the garden. Also, we tasted some items and Truffles showed professionalism. We were a little disappointed on the wedding day because the food tasted bland (especially the Paella) and the steak was dry. That said, when we talked to some of the guests, they said that the steak was quite tender. I guess the buffet style means that there are differences in food quality. Many of our guests also liked the dessert and the appetizers. Overall it was good, but for the price that we paid, we did have higher expectations.

  Delicious Food

  The team at Truffles were so wonderful to work with! They are professional and have done so many events that we didn't have to do much planning other than select our menu, colour linens and provide a quick timeline. Such a breeze! Truffles was the recommended caterer by our venue, Van Dusen Gardens, and they were the perfect team to partner with. Truffles knew the venue, so we didn't have to worry about liaising between venue and caterer.
  
  Our family and friends all raved about the food -- especially their mushroom risotto (a must!). The food was exceptional, as was the service team. They're definitely a caterer I would partner again!

  Best Catering Company for the Pipeshop

  If you want a top of the line catering company that is reasonable - this is the one! Truffles Fine Foods were amazing caterers and we specifically worked with both Monique and then Scott! Both went above and beyond in service! During the tasting, Monique was so lovely, patient and helpful. For the preparation of our wedding, we were so lost because our beautiful venue came as a blank canvas and for a 240 person wedding, it is difficult to estimate the numbers of quantities for everything. Scott was a total pro and really put our minds at ease by helping us with not only the catering but the rentals!!! It was the best idea to just fully go through Truffles because if we forgot or didn’t think of something, Scott had us covered - there was a lot we hadn’t even thought of! He is also just so personable and lovely so we felt a lot of trust going into such a large scale event. The day turned out beautifully because Truffles was so organized with Scott leading the way and making sure everything was in order and even in respect to food allergies or dietary restrictions for the guests! In fact, the food was so good that our guests were raving about how great it all tasted and we were laughing because people were taking more than just one meal at the buffet because everything was just that good. The staff were cheery, helpful and absolutely lovely! Thank you, Scott and Truffles!

  We were so happy with the service from Truffles right from the quote process, to the tasting, to the execution day-of. We had some logistics issues with our venue and Truffles was able to solve them pro-actively prior to the event and on-site as well.
  
  Knowing events, I'm sure things didn't go perfectly, but from our view - everything was seamless. The food was delicious, served hot and the plating was beautiful. The service was efficient and professional and we had tons of compliments on the food.
  
  We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Truffles to anyone! We are so thankful to have had them as our wedding caterers.

  Scott and Monica did an amazing job putting together a delicious and cost effective menu for our wedding in New West. They helped us put together the perfect menu, arranged all our rentals, were receptive to changes, and put in professional suggestions throughout the process that were extremely helpful. We had a BBQ buffet with a late night snack and the food couldn't have been better; we received multiple compliments throughout the night and for weeks afterwards, many people saying it was the best food they had had at a wedding. I would also like to put in how many compliments the serving staff received. They were both professional and approachable; they kept glasses full, tables clean, and guests happy! Overall, TFF has a wonderful staff who clearly know their profession, enjoy their work, and delivered on all their promises of a delicious, problem free meal!

  We used Truffles Victorian Buffet menu for our wedding reception, we dealt with Taryn and she was extremely helpful with assisting us choosing our menu options and explaining the associated costs. Our guests all raved about the meal and presentation . We highly recommend Truffles for quality of food and service for the price
