    Romantic Wedding Vibes

    I can’t say enough what an incredible job Krystal did for my wedding. Everyone complimented how beautiful the decor and flowers were; saying how it looked so romantic! Krystal worked with me to capture my vision, creating exactly what I wanted! I couldn’t be happier.

    Beautiful!

    We rented a head table, backdrop, and arch and they were spectacular. They were thr perfect touch for the space and I’m so happy with how they looked! Delivery and tear down happened on time and efficiently. I would highly recommend A Night to Remember and would use them again without hesitation.

    So thankful for Krystle!

    When I started my wedding planning process I didn’t know how I was going to decorate our venue, or even where to start. I reached out to Krystle for help and I am so glad I did. I rented as much as I could from her so I didn’t have to spend my wedding day setting up and taking down. Krystle kept in touch with me through the entire planning process and made the planning super simple. On the day of my wedding I walked in and everything was absolutely perfect - it was even better than I had imagined.

    Wonderful experience

    Krystle is an absolute pleasure to work with and she is amazing in what she does! I cannot thank her enough for the amazing romantic feel she created on our wedding day! she brought my ideas and dream day to life! When I walked into the room after it was set up, I teared up it was so beautiful! was exactly what I wanted

    Unprofessional and inflexible

    If you have any interest in knowing what the vision for your decor will be before it is set up on your wedding day, I would strongly recommend finding a different decorator.

    When she quoted my fiancé and I 5 different elements all for the same table for our dinner tables, we respectfully asked her to clarify her vision because we thought we were misunderstanding her quote. We were not. When asked for sample photos of her ideas or past similar work, a sketch, a mock-up or a mood board - really anything - she was not willing to share her vision or any photos for the decor she had in mind, despite my fiancé and I expressing concerns that there were way too many elements. In fact, she essentially called us controlling and said we are better off with another vendor, stating that the way she works is to see how it all goes on the day of.

    Shocked by this, I met with other vendors to explore options and determine if this is the norm in this industry and I was asking too much. It is not. I have since met with several other vendors who don’t expect you to pay thousand of dollars with zero idea of what you are paying for, except for a laundry list of items that may or may not be used day of.

    I’ll also note that if you value communication and professionalism in a vendor, I would also encourage you to look elsewhere. Her level of professionalism is very poor. After our initial consultation, which was quite awkward, partly because she never explained what the process was for it and we sat through the appointment unsure of what was happening, she said she would provide a quote in 2-3 days. Instead, she went radio silent for several weeks and did not respond to two follow-up emails until weeks later when it was convenient for her to do so. In an industry where so many vendors really care about making your day special and important, she really does not.

    I had been so excited to contact this vendor as many of her other reviews are great, but she has by far been the most disappointing vendor I have spoken with throughout my wedding planning process

    Disappointing, unresponsive and unprofessional

    Find a different vendor. You want to be able to trust the vendor’s reliable, professional and responsive on your wedding day. We thought the other reviews were an exaggeration, and now regret that we didn’t take them seriously. The contract offered us $100 for a review and professional photos of our wedding- read into that what you will. The only part of our communication that was prompt was sending us the invoice.

    Our seating chart was missing during set up and all of our attempts to get in touch with her on our wedding day went unanswered. Our wedding planner had to seat our 80 guests individually. The seating chart arrived without any acknowledgement or explanation after our guests were seated. It arrived with the cardboard edges still attached, smudged, and not set up as we had discussed in our final meeting. To our dismay, there were numerous spelling errors on the names, and half our guest names were missing. She duplicated the first 40 names, which caused unnecessary confusion. There are several other things that we won’t get into.

    We understand that covid has been challenging on the wedding industry, and out of courtesy, we emailed her afterwards expressing our disappointment, wanting an acknowledgement and a refund on the seating chart. No response. We sent a follow up email, and again, no response.

    The rest of our team of vendors were phenomenal, but this is definitely one that we recommend you stay away from.

    Horrible Experience

    HORRIBLE customer service. I had to cancel my wedding due to COVID. I live in BC and my flights to Ontario for my wedding were cancelled. All my vendors EXCEPT this lady Krystle refunded my deposits. She dared to tell me that barely any of the money was kept for herself and she gave it all to the chair rental company that she outsources. Extremely horrible to deal with as she is ignoring all my emails. Brides, I advise you not to go with this company as Krystle is awful to deal with and keeps every last cent with no reasoning.

    Natalia, I am sorry to hear your experience was “horrible” simply due to the fact that I am not willing to refund your non-refundable deposit. 2020 is a terrible year for both marrying couples and vendors alike. Every day there is a new postponement, or emails regarding postponing or cancelling, I know how stressful it is on my end, and I can understand the stress from the couples end as well. I am doing everything in my power to change dates, change venues, change our service area and change décor services to accommodate this wedding disaster our client are experiencing, but we are not offering refunds on deposits.
    I am also sorry you feel that I have “ignored your emails” regarding cancelling. Your last email was sent to me was on May 20, 2020, it is now May 26, 2020 which is 6 days or 4 business days ago which I feel is unreasonable to assume you are “being ignored” especially due to the complexity of the wedding situation happening right now. You could argue that I am only responding now because you posted a negative review, but the truth simply is my last email sent to you regarding your cancellation was on May 19, 2020 which was only 7 days ago or only 5 business days ago (which I can see from my email tracking it was opened and you then responded to it). Your statement that I am ignoring your emails is simply untrue, just 5 business days ago was my last contact regarding your cancellation. My opinion is, much more time would need to pass for you to argue that I have ignored you, but you are entitled to your own opinion on reasonable timelines.
    Right from our first phone consultation I explained to you the deposit is non-refundable but it is transferable to another day or venue if needed due to the Covid-19 restrictions. The deposit being non-refundable was also mentioned as a written detail not once, not twice, but 3 times during the booking process. Once when you are emailed the quote, once at the beginning of the contract and a third time under the Cancellation section of the contract. In total during your dealings with me you would have come across the deposit being non-refundable 4 times. I was very upfront about this, this detail was not hidden in the small print of the contract. After reviewing how many times you came across this statement, I do indeed see room for improvement to add that detail to additional places, so moving forward I will ensure a client will see this 6+ times instead of your experience of 4. You never expressed any concerns during the booking process about the deposit being non-refundable, I even kindly asked you if you would like to pay less than the usual 30% deposit due to any Covid-19 related financial issues and you stated you can pay the full 30%.
    From your time of booking to your time of cancellation not much has changed Covid-19 related, there has been a slight lift in restrictions, so it’s not like you didn’t know Covid-19 could potentially affect your mid-August wedding date at your time of booking. From my perspective the only thing that changed during this timeframe was your mind and decision to not have a reception and to elope instead. You are not choosing to wait it out, you are not choosing to postpone, you are choosing to cancel your reception, and cancel your décor services in which your deposit would be non-refundable as stated 3 times and verbally mentioned 1 time.
    You have experienced “Horrible Customer Service” simply due to the fact that I am not willing to be bullied with negative reviews into refunding the non-refundable deposit when I made this fact very clear at your time of booking (Which was during the Covid-19’s lockdown). You are choosing to cancel your wedding and you feel that “the regular cancellation policy shouldn’t apply to you” which I believe is an unfair assumption on your part and an unfair reason to post negative reviews because you were very aware of the policy at booking and you are receiving the exact service the contract states if you decided to cancel (which you were fine with at the time of booking). But again, you are entitled to your opinion and entitled to post a negative review.
    I don’t believe I have done anything wrong, I don’t believe I have done anything unethical, I don’t believe I have done anything to treat you poorly, or ignore you, or provide you with bad customer service, I believe you are simply not getting your way so my punishment for that is a negative review across all my social media accounts stating horrible customer service which I believe is untrue and unfair. I am entitled to an opinion as are you.
    I don’t know what more I could have done for you to ensure you had a good customer service experience other than refund your non-refundable deposit. I am sorry that Covid-19 has affected your original wedding day plans, it has been catastrophic to the wedding industry. And I am sorry that you did not experience good customer service like the many other reviews posted here.

    The customer is treated totally as a contract. nothing personal.

    no words.
    Use this vendor at your own risk. Website photos are impressive. but you are treated as your contract states only. Not very personable.
    Don;t plan on getting married again... but would NOT risk this vendor and the cost.

    Beautiful Florals and Decor

    We highly recommend Krystal for your wedding decor and florals. She did a wonderful job making my vision come to life. She was easy to work with and was very accommodating to any changes we made throughout the planning process. The decor elements she has to offer are beautiful and the florals were exactly as I hoped. Krystal made the wedding planning process smooth and effortless.
