We booked Devine Wedding Design for our August 2022 wedding and loved the work that the team set up for us.

Our initial meeting with the DWD team was a great start to my experience with them as they walked us through their showroom to show the various options that could be offered. They helped us take our ideas and find the right pieces to bring those details to life. I was grateful for their recommendations as well during selection.

For our wedding reception, we ordered a beautiful sheer curtain backdrop with lights, a curved curtain entryway for our doorways, various tablecloths and napkins, charger plates, and headtable/long table greenery garlands

Unfortunately, the teal napkin colour (which we were unable to find with other vendors) we selected was not available at the last minute due to supplier issues they faced, but DWD worked quickly to help pick an alternative colour which worked fine in the end .

The set up and tear down team that showed up to set up what we ordered were very friendly and worked efficiently to get the decor ready for us.

We hired them to decorate and then bar tend and cleaning. Honestly I wish I hired them for coordinating as well. Wendy is the best - so organized. She knows what she’s doing and will take the reins. I love her.

I wanted to have a Great Gatsby style wedding and Wendy and her team were absolutely fantastic. The room was phenomenal...more fabulous than I could have imagined even in my dreams. Wendy took my vision and brought it to life and people are STILL talking about it years later. This team of professionals are attentive, easy to talk to and beyond accommodating. I continue to recommend Wendy and her team to anyone getting married or planning a special event!

I was hoping to do some of my own decorating but due to a wedding booked the night before and family and guests from out of town it didn’t seem like it was going to be feasible. Plus, who has a 24x16ft freestanding curtain rod laying around?? Sharon was amazing, showed me around their showroom and let me pick out some things, custom did my centre pieces like I imagined in my head, and had everything I needed done and organized without a hitch! Best part was the hassle free no worries take down of everything the next morning, I didn’t have to wake up early and go dismantle 13 tables, I went for brunch with my family with all the confidence everything would be taken care of. Sharon was prompt with estimates for additions and subtractions along the way, never pushy. She made up the table I envisioned, simple and elegant but def my style! Couldn’t have asked for more! Would recommend 150%

Wendy and her team were amazing throughout my whole planning process. Through a change in venue, and constant change in "vision" she kept up with all of it. She made great suggestions and helped me feel at ease in every moment. Wendy even went and looked at some decor I had seen in a store and picked it up so that we could use it for our ceremony. Everything was set up so beautifully. I was nervous about not being able to see everything put together before the day of the wedding, but shouldn't have worried at all as it was stunning. They are always quick to email back, and accommodate any concerns. Thank you so much!

Wendy was great to work with, we rented he chairs and the swigs from her! Everyone aid the chairs were comfy, she was there on time and diversely and pick up and sit up for the swags were fast! Thanks

I enjoyed working with Wendy to come up with decorations for the wedding. She was very helpful and went through everything I may need. She was very friendly and easy to work with. Wendy added some chair covers to touch up the hall on chairs we were not going to put chair covers on. It made a huge difference and there was no extra cost. Thanks to Wendy and her crew for all your help.

We absolutely LOVED our decorations! Wendy was so great about meeting up with me, even driving to where I lived to show me samples etc. She is extremely friendly and very talented. I had the biggest smile on my face when I walked into our reception hall and saw it all decorated.

We went with Devine Wedding Design with Wendy Bennewies. She was wonderful, so down to earth and easy to work with. She really made all of my visions, and ideas come to life. The reception turned out beautifully with fabric draping and patio lights draping the ceiling, and paper lanterns throughout. We had perfectly matching napkins, and wraps on the white chair covers. The head table back drop was stunning with lovely drapery, lights, and just the right amount of sparkle. I also wanted there to be A LOT of candles, and this definitely came true for me. There were 8 candles per table, and even candles on the bar height tables in the cocktail lounge. I wanted the feeling to be very romantic, and intimate. The exterior decorations on the gazebo were also beautiful, with flowing fabric and paper lanterns.

Wendy did a great job with the decorations at my wedding. Everything looked beautiful and she gave some advice in how to improve the event. Unfortunately service the day of the event and after was terrible. She delivered three distinctly different wine glasses instead of the promised one, had tacky ribbon around my event tables that I didn't ask for. She was unnecessarily rude to both of my parents during cleanup, and she couldn't explain how her invoices changed from one amount to the next. She was a blemish on an otherwise amazing day. I would not recommend working with her for any future events.
