  MAKEvents in the best of the best!

  Maricel & Ingrid are simply amazing! I used MAKEvents for Day Of Coordination and, knowing what I know now, I wish I had gone with them for their other services as well!!
   
  The first time I met with Maricel (via zoom, because we live away) for our consultation she found two mistakes in one of my other vendor’s contracts. This find saved me $400!! It was wording I totally missed but she saw it right away.
   
  Once back in town for wedding week, I met with Maricel & Ingrid in person at my venue. They arrived early and scoped out the building. They both had wonderful suggestions on how the day should flow. Their calming presence was something I definitely needed in the lead up to the big day!
   
  Ingrid was my day-of coordinator, so she attended our rehearsal at the venue. She was so prepared, led us through the entire ceremony (from entering to exiting, who walks when, who stands where, etc.) and certainly helped us get excited for the real event!
   
  On our wedding day, Ingrid was right there with us from morning till evening. Ingrid ensured hair & makeup were progressing according to schedule, she checked in with the best man to make sure all groomsmen + groom were where they needed to be & getting ready, and checked in with other vendors to ensure their timely arrival for ceremony & reception.
   
  Something I was concerned about for our wedding was the decor (to clarify, I had a different vendor hired for decorating). The decorator went into the venue the morning of the wedding (which believe it is standard practice) so everything was being set up while I was getting ready. I don’t exactly like surprises.. so I was concerned to be walking down the aisle dreading the look of the place. Ingrid went down to the venue about two hours before us to ensure everything was set up the way I had envisioned and sent me pictures!! I really appreciated her doing this, so that I wasn't be surprised when walking in!
   
  The day flowed perfectly (in our opinion!). If there was anything that went astray it was handled and I, nor the groom, were made aware of it. Thanks to Ingrid, we were able to enjoy our day and not worry about a single thing.
   
  Day of coordination services are high on the list of things I recommend to other brides, and now, after my own wedding, MAKEvents is at the very top of my list of vendors that I recommend to others! Their team delivered my expectations and then some! MAKEvents in the best of the best.

  Amazing experience, highly recommend!

  MAKEvents was everything we wanted and more! Maricel and Ingrid were so easy to work with, and had such a creative eye. We loved that we were also able to use some DIY decorations to give a personal touch.

  I am so grateful to Maricel and Ingrid for their care and expertise that they brought to our wedding. I hired them for full decorating and day of coordinating and am so happy I did! I planned our wedding from out of province, and they were so flexible with meeting with me, and were really easy to communicate with and responsive to my (many-lol) emails. Maricel was very organized and really helped our wedding day run smoothly, I felt very comforted knowing she was helping us. Ingrid and her team made our ceremony and reception spaces look absolutely beautiful. I felt like they genuinely cared about our wedding being special for us, and I can't recommend them enough.

  Excellent setup/take down services

  I provided the MAKEvents staff with my decorations and a basic outline of what I wanted done, and they completely brought my vision to life. The venue looked amazing, and they did an excellent job!

  Would recommend over and over!

  They are so amazing to work with and very prompt with responding to texts and emails :) the day of the decor was so beautiful and they took my decorations and effortlessly placed them!

  Amazing team!

  We were a diy wedding but life got in the way and decided to hire a decorator 2 weeks before my wedding! I told them i wanted simple nothing over the top, and boy did the exceed my expectation! They were amazing, and i didnt have to worry about a thing! They assisted in putting together an arch and even took over putting the cake toppers on for me! They went over and beyond! So happy with the work they did! We havent gotten our professional pictures back yet but added some we took!

  Wedding Review

  MAKEvents were great to work with. I had originally booked them just over a year before my wedding and we discussed a few details then. Due to covid-19, our wedding plans were changed a few times and really not finalized until 6 weeks before our wedding. The girls were super accommodating and understanding and really helped put together what my wedding decor would look like. Due to my venue being a tent, a few things did not work out that I personally had planned and I had asked if they had another option for center pieces the night before my wedding, to which they quickly proposed an option and brought what was needed the next day. They also realized my table numbers would not work and had brought a substitute. Would highly recommend!
