DJ Majd was amazing from start to finish.

Before we booked him, when he knew that we were still interviewing other DJs, he was contacting our venue to find out their set-up and rules about additional speakers. He followed up promptly and left us confident that he would be available for anything we needed.

Leading up to the wedding, he was extremely helpful. We had no idea what we were doing, and he helped us build a schedule and understand the etiquette and expectations around speeches as well as the timing of the whole day, from ceremony to reception. We had a huge range of music styles we wanted and were very picky about go-to party songs we DID NOT want, and he accommodated everything.

Majd's energy and presence was positive, enthusiastic, and confident - he always made us feel certain that he would take care of anything we needed and was so kind at every moment. We decided to have a friend sing us down the aisle, and he worked directly with her to ensure he had the proper set-up and planning to support her needs.

The day of the wedding, every single person who worked with him was so impressed that they told us how great he was. The manager at the venue told us he hoped to work with him again, and my friend who sang for us told us about the pep talk he gave her while they were setting up, saying "I didn't realize I needed it, but he made me feel so good about performing in front of everyone!".

Throughout the night he was attentive and checked in with us about last-minute adjustments we needed, and he made every single speaker feel good before passing them the mic. The photobooth we rented with him was also easy to use and people had immense fun with it!

Majd knew we were disappointed by the restrictions to dancing at our wedding due to COVID, and he managed to make sure everyone was still bopping at their seats the whole night. When we did sneak in some distanced dancing, everyone had a blast down to the last stragglers of the night!

I can't emphasize enough how lovely Majd was to work with and how much of a weight off our shoulders it was to have him there through the lead-up and day of our wedding. Not only is he immensely professional and generous, but he is a true gentleman and a kind soul. I feel like we made a friend when we hired Majd, and his assistant for the night, Bruno, was also very friendly and a pleasure to work with.

Back to Basics literally made our wedding perfect.

From our first meeting with Majd and Kirk we knew that we chose the right entertainment for our wedding. They really understood our vision of blending our cultures and the vibe we were hoping for that will keep our guests dancing all night long. They not only understood our vision but they also took it to the next level, all with top-of-the-line professionalism. When we entered our reception for a first look, we were absolutely blown away by the set up. It was better than what we envisioned! The lighting, the dj booth, speaker positions, sound quality, and all the small details came together so beautifully!

DJ Kloud and Majd ensured a seamless transition at our reception from grand entrances to first dances, to speeches and dance breaks throughout the meal. Great mix of music, seamless transitions between songs, everything you would want from a world class DJ team. They set the mood so well for when our dance floor opened! We had many people throughout the night come up to us and compliment the music and atmosphere. My husband and I took a moment to sit back and soak in how beautiful everything looked and how amazed we were by the fireworks, music and lighting!

If we could leave 10 stars, we would!!! One of the best decisions we made was going with BTB for our wedding. Not only was the music SO on point (perfect blend of Greek, Punjabi & English hits to accommodate both our cultures) but so was every other aspect that BTB brought to our event: the lighting effects, the special effects such as cold sparks, dry ice and CO2 gun, the facade of the DJ booth that they take the time to match with your venue/decor, and most of all, their kindness and professionalism… We simply could not be happier! You were the first person we made sure we had secured! We made sure we booked you even before we had the dress, the venue, the husband (kiddinggggg!). If you were unavailable, we would have changed the date to whenever you were free! That’s how important you are to us and how talented you are! There was no way we would have gotten married without you being part of it!

You and your team created an unforgettable night for us and our guests. I know it was a team effort, but I’d like to take a moment to show our gratitude to you personally! When I met you in 2018, you were just a friend of my sister and I loved the kind and fun person you are. Then, ever since I went out with my sister to support you when you were playing in clubs, restaurants and lounges, I fell in love with the artist in you! No matter how exhausted we were and how much our feet were bleeding from all the dancing, we just couldn’t stop dancing! At the beginning of every song we would scream “omg that’s my song! Ok ok last one”…. 3 hours later we’re still on the dance floor dancing and singing!

You have created this successful business and put together the best team to give your clients…well, simply the best service! You are an amazing human being, you are so polite and a really good listener. You went above and beyond the scope of your duties to make sure everything was organized perfectly. You went out of your way to demonstrate problem solving and provide different options whether it’s going through the multiple playlists together, writing down the schedule and timeline for the day of the wedding by the minute, or reorganize the floor plan more than once to make sure we have the best set up possible.

The day of the wedding, you and your team coordinated your outfits to match the theme of the wedding. We truly appreciated that. You were all truly professional, your equipment was top notch, you set up both the cocktail area and the reception hall and we were lucky to get your new elegant wooden facade for your DJ booth. Throughout the night, you made sure to check up on us to insure, not only we were having a great time, that everything was to our liking, but also that there wasn’t something we wanted differently. We also appreciate how thorough you were in keeping us accountable in respecting the timing of the schedule.

We don’t know how to thank you! We’ve been talking about how magical the night way with you and B2B ever since the wedding, it’s been weeks now! You listened and understood our vision, as well as provided some suggestions to make it more special! Whether it was the classical ambiance, the Egyptian/Palestinian flavour, or the ‘80s, ‘90s and ‘00s throwback, I was on my feet since the party started until we were kicked out! Guests were saying goodbye to us, and 45 minutes later, they were still dancing. Them too, couldn’t leave the dance floor with how amazing the music was!

We were so impressed with Kirk, Alex, Majd and the full BTB MTL team. They were so professional from start to finish and truly made an effort to get to know us and our tastes to ensure we had the best possible experience. Music / dancing was so important to us, and they kept the dance floor busy all night long! Not only did they provide exceptional service and an amazing experience the day of, but they also gave us total confidence and support leading up to our big day - helping us build the schedule, answering any of our questions (regardless of the time) and making sure they fully understood our vision. Had a great ceremony and reception thanks to DJ MAJD and his team. They kept our guests entertained during the whole event and really encouraged people to participate. No one comes close to Majd and his team. His level of attention to detail is simply unmatched. Beyond creating the event of our dreams, he's helped us with our timeline, came for a sound check at the hall 3 months before the wedding to make sure we had everything we needed, kept in contact with our coordinator weeks leading up to the wedding, connected us with other vendors, made last minute changes without a hitch and was readily available to answer any questions we had along the way. Whatever your vision is for your wedding, he will make it happen.
