Fantastic DJ
Joel was a great DJ! It was very easy to communicate and plan with him ahead of time. He was also great at adapting on the fly (making announcements from the venue staff, etc.)
Joel also knows how to read the crowd and play the right music - not just a ‘plug and play’ DJ, and is great with transitions and requests! We were very happy to work with him - he goes above and beyond !

Huge disappointment
We hired him based on all the great reviews on WeddingWire, but unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. His behavior throughout the night was highly unprofessional and left us frustrated. At one point, he was openly distracted on his phone, which was incredibly inappropriate given the setting.
On top of that, he spent time discussing personal matters loudly on the phone, in full earshot of our guests. This added to the overall sense that he wasn’t focused on the event at all.
As for the music, he said we could only request 15 songs and promised he would match the vibe for the rest of the songs, but the playlist he played didn’t reflect that at all. We were really disappointed with how out of sync the music was with what we had asked for.
Overall, I regret hiring him, and I would strongly advise anyone considering him for their wedding to make sure you thoroughly communicate your expectations beforehand. We wish we had done more research before trusting the online reviews

The best team to have by your side at your wedding!
I cannot begin to express my love and appreciation to Joel and his team. They provided the music, the lighting and the videography for my wedding and I am still so over the moon about everything they produced. Joel also got me in touch with another team for the photography of my wedding and I managed to get all of this through this amazing and kind man. Without him, I would've been running around for months on end trying to find a vendor for multiple things when he did truly the most out of everyone on my wedding team.
I had an Arab wedding with Arabic music, and Joel made the effort to learn and understand my needs and the music I wanted. He included EVERYTHING and was always consulting with me whenever he had any questions. He played all of my Arabic and English music flawlessly.
Thank you to Joel and Dan for all your hard work and imagination for my special day.

Amazing experience
DJ Joel was fantastic, he kept the music flowing perfectly. Was helpful and accommodating with our guests music requests. He also took pictures from start to finish. This wasn’t expected or requested but very much appreciated. Working with him on planning our wedding was great, his online questionnaire was easy to use and easy to update and change.
100% recommend him for any event you need some great entertainment.
The (dancing in the clouds) smoke machine was a magical addition to our first dance!

DJ Joel ensured all went smoothly
We hired DJ Joel for our wedding but unfortunately his DJ ended up quitting the profession before our wedding! Joel was so on top of things, hooked us up with another DJ. We didn't have to do anything different on our end, he was the go between for everything. We LOVED the dj we ended up getting so Joel really came through for us :)

Amazing, Amazing, AMAZING
We used Joel for our July 1, 2023 wedding, and it was, in our opinion, one of the best vendor choices.
He has a designated client area that lets you submit your timeline, song requests, and any special requests in advance, which makes it super easy. Communication was quick and easy.
The day of, our schedule was a little thrown off due to rain and we ended up being roughly an hour behind, Joel was there with suggestions to keep things moving.
And the music???? So good, it was such a good selection of classic hits, but many that aren't typically played at weddings. Our guests had an absolute ball regardless of their age (youngest guest was 1, oldest was 78) and everyone was dancing.

Made our day that much more amazing!!
Joel was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Our guests were dancing all night long and loved chatting with. He was so much fun to have at our wedding!! Highly recommend :)

Exactly what I was hoping for!
Joel was awesome, I'm thrilled that we worked with him! His approach as a wedding DJ was appealing to us as many of the other vendors we looked at felt like a pre-packaged deal, seemed gimmicky, and/or offered things that we didn't care about prioritizing as part of the standard package. Our crowd loves to dance and what we cared about most was great music and someone that was going to have a good time with us. Joel was super responsive in planning and organizing the event. He rolled with the punches as we had some specific song requests and vision for how the music would play a role in our ceremony and reception and was always happy to help make it work. He delivered on all counts! We would absolutely recommend him.

Amazing Wedding DJ!
Joel was the perfect DJ. He was super responsive and able to play every song we wanted (including some off the board requests)! We received so many compliments about his services. The dance floor was always bumping. Thank you for making our special day that much more fun, Joel!
