With a life-long passion for music and a dedication to the craft, DJ Floh Back is widely considered one of the elite music curators in the Toronto events community.

With 20 years experience DJing corporate events, celebrity weddings, and wild all-night dance parties, his clients are impressed by his professionalism, his in-depth knowledge of a variety of music genres, and his ability to keep crowds dancing.

He continues to be called to provide the soundtrack for the most prestigious parties in the country; he opens for international recording artists; he DJs private parties for members of the Toronto Maple Leafs; he is currently the DJ of choice for the NBA’s Giants Of Africa and the Jays Care Foundation.

One of the most requested wedding DJs in Ontario, he is the choice of upscale planners who insist on working with one of the best selectors in the city at getting everyone off their seats and dancing from beginning to end.

His DJ name suggests loud and vicious, but Earl is as calm and cool a DJ you will ever meet, and he is ready to take on any challenge that we can throw at him. When the party starts, his positive vibe comes through loud and clear in his song selection.

Earl grew up in a restaurant family listening to 70s-90s disco, classic rock, pop and RnB. His parents decided to transform their successful establishment into a Karaoke Bar, and he was hooked on the idea of entertaining when he discovered a DJ set up covered in dust in the basement of the restaurant.

Last year while on vacation in the Dominican Republic, he DJed a set at the nightclub at the resort that had the whole place dancing, and talking about it the next day. This was the moment he knew he wanted to take the next step to make DJing a large part of his life.

Earl has played venues such as Palais Royale, Sassafraz, Spoke Club, McMichael Art Gallery, Eglinton Grand and is one of our beloved resident rooftop DJs at Broadview Hotel.

We’ve welcomed Gerald into Team Floh Back with open arms. He’s a rising star in the Toronto DJ scene who lives and breathes music, and we are thrilled to have him now as part of our crew.

Gerald grew up listening to 60s, 70s and 80s records in a very musical family, with his parents were a big influence on his upbringing. As a DJ, he is a big fan of old school and new hip hop, R&B, House and Top40.

In his DJ career so far, he was a featured DJ at the Field Trip Festival in Toronto. He also opened for Daniel Caesar at a recent concert in Mississauga. And most notably has become a go-to DJ for Raptors meet and greet events, including OG Anunoby and CJ Miles.

He’s also deeply involved in the Filipino community, as a musical director for dance group Folklorico Filipino Canada, he shows his musical creativity knows no boundaries. Finally, he is a self-produced recording artist and music producer.

Ask Johnny why he became a DJ, and he’ll tell you “music is my life.” Maybe it’s also because his dad was a performing rock musician in the 80s. Maybe it’s because he’s an artist who needs to express himself. Or maybe it’s because he grew up in Scarborough surrounded by musical friends.

Whichever the reason, we are honoured to have him join our team this year. As a veteran of the industry, he’s been a coveted DJ for 20 years, with a focus on weddings for the past 10. He is a favourite regular with venues like Graydon Hall, Spoke Club, Casa Loma, Story’s Building, and a resident DJ on the Broadview Hotel rooftop.

He loves weddings because he relishes the moment when guests of all ages are on the dance floor having fun together. He’s often seen in the DJ booth himself dancing up a storm.

Like a Rock, Mike is solid, dependable, and the foundation for a great event. As an integral part of the DJ Floh Back Productions team, he combines a deep party music catalogue with a talent for positive customer relations.

When you speak to Mike, his calm and polite demeanour defy what most people would expect a DJ to be like in person. But don’t be fooled; when the lights go down and it’s time to get everybody up and moving, nobody does it better than our Rock.

Mike loves to party, and has one of the longest list of satisfied clients just waiting to rave about the endless dance party he throws. With these experiences and positive testimonials, Mike has become one of the most referred and requested wedding DJs in our crew.

If Spencer looks familiar to you, you are not alone. Fans of the show Degrassi recognize him from his 2 seasons as Wesley. In real life, Spencer is much cooler and more fun than his character was. Though his looks are youthful, Spencer has a passion for music that spans generations.

As a member of Team Floh Back, he has DJed some amazing events in venues such as Shangri-La Hotel, Canoe, Twist Gallery, Sassafraz, Sherwood Inn, and George Restaurant. During the Invictus Games in Toronto, Spencer can boast he was the DJ when Harry introduced Meghan to the world at Nathan Phillips Square.

Perhaps Spencer’s most memorable quality is his energy. Clients are always commenting how much they enjoyed watching him enthusiastically jamming away while mixing in the booth.
