I cannot express my appreciation for DJ Haymaker (Jeff) in just a few words.
Jeff made my daughter’s wedding exceptional! Additionally, he made my night (Mother of the bride and wedding coordinator) as relaxed as possible.
I feel like the only way to really demonstrate Jeff’s professionalism and expertise it to run through the event.
Arrival at the venue: Jeff took charge! He coordinated with all other hired professionals such as officiant, caterer, bar service & venue staff.
When the ceremony was to start, we all felt completely relaxed with Jeff at the helm. I must mention that this was without an actual rehearsal! Jeff took meticulous history and notes beforehand from the bride and groom and while I was a bit nervous without a rehearsal, my doubts were quickly put to rest.
Timing was perfect and he made sure that was the case; we really couldn’t mess it up.
As soon as the ceremony was over, he went right into Master of Ceremony role along with venue coordinator, security and a host of other roles I hadn’t even thought of like game show host!
The games were perfectly executed and super fun! Everyone laughed out loud! The bride and groom had such a great time!
Once dinner was underway, Jeff knew exactly when to jump in with a game and when to get speeches rolling which made for a great flow of the evening.
The special dances went off perfectly. He had special signals for the couple to indicate when they felt the dance was done which really helped keep the flow and the guest engaged.
The dance floor was PACKED all night long. The music was as requested by the couple.
To sum up, Jeff is your guy! He certainly was “our guy”!
We highly recommend DJ Haymaker. We can’t than Jeff enough for making the day “perfect”.

Jeff was more than amazing for our wedding! His online planning website made planning a breeze! He also MC’d our wedding and went above and beyond. We heard nothing but praise for Jeff from the guest of our wedding! We’d easily recommend Jeff to host/DJ your weddings because he made ours so special and stress free from the early planning days to keeping us rocking on the dance floor till the very end! Thank you Jeff for everything, our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without you!

When we first had our intro call with Jeff, Jeff was incredibly professional, enthusiastic, and engaged - Jeff listened to what we wanted for our wedding day. Jeff introduced us to the planning portal - we were able to make adjustments to our songs, details about the wedding party, and how we wanted the evening to progress. Jeff came to the wedding rehearsal the night before and helped us finalize the details. We noticed quickly that Jeff isn't just a DJ; he's a wedding planner, MC, games host, entertainer, comedian, and someone we could go to when things were crazy. Throughout the reception, Jeff was always in contact with us, asking how things were going, and what was coming up, and making sure the night ran smoothly. We felt completely at ease - Jeff added in some comedy of his own which we STILL talk about today. As a DJ, Jeff played all our favourite songs, threw in some bangers, and made sure the party was alive till the very end - we had people dancing that we'd never seen dance before. We still hear our guests talk about how much fun they had, how great the music was, and how entertaining our wedding was. Most people missed the late-night snack as we were all on the dancefloor!
We still refer DJ Haymaker to our friends, not only for weddings but for events too. For weddings or other events, you NEED to include DJ Haymaker.
Thank you Jeff for making our wedding the most perfect day. -

As the mother of the groom at my son's 2016 wedding, I am compelled to write this review even though it has been seven years since the wedding took place. With the fondest of memories, as I reflect on this wonderful day, there are definitely several reasons why this day left such an endearing and lasting impression. Firstly, aside from the obvious seriousness of the wedding itself, it was the most fun and enjoyable wedding I have ever attended in my life. This is all thanks to Jeff Haymaker as he worked his magic as a brilliant MC, as well as a magnificent DJ.
When my son and daughter in law first mentioned they were hiring basically a stranger to MC, I initially had my doubts. Wow, was I wrong. Jeff did his homework like a master, as he introduced in detail all wedding party members, and managed the speeches like a pro with a beautiful balance of comedy and seriousness . He provided hilarious challenges for the wedding party and their parents to partake, and everyone roared with laughter. I cannot tell you how many times I heard "that was the most fun wedding I have ever attended". And of course the dance music selection was perfect.
For anyone considering Jeff Haymaker as an MC or as a DJ, I would simply say do not hesitate and book him asap. He is a true professional who does an exceptional job with the utmost care and consideration. You will be so glad you went with Jeff.
Thank you Jeff for making one of my most precious life memories, and for creating a five star celebration.

Surpassed our expectations!
Honestly words can’t fully express how amazing of a decision it was to have Jeff be a part our special day. He helped tame the chaos of our families and channel it into a positive energy that thrived on the dance floor. Our guests still come up to us and remark on how awesome of a DJ and MC Jeff was and we could not be happier with our decision. He also was a major help with the fluidity of the event and coordinated with the vendors to ensure we were able to have everything we want and more. His professionalism, problem solving skills and knowledge throughout was a huge help at calming any anxiety towards the flow of the event. My bridal party even remarked on how incredible it was that he remembered peoples names and the information we gave him prior to the big day on each of them. I am a skeptic at having a perfect day, but with Jeff I was definitely converted into a believer. We can’t thank him enough and would recommend him for any event that strives to be something to blow people’s expectations! -

DJ Jeff!! What an absolute epic experience we had working with you. You were hands down an amazing dj and mc at our wedding who knew how to read the room perfectly and go with the flow. I had so many guests tell me how fun and unique the wedding was. The guests absolutely loved the bridal party introductions. The dance floor was incredible and I looked around at one point and I think the whole wedding was up out of their seats enjoying the night! You went above and beyond supporting us through the ceremony walk-through and the actual big day. I can truly see your passion in entertaining and it’s evident how much you love what you do and want to make others happy and feel celebrated. Not to forget you also sweated it out with us on one of the hottest days of the year with a smile on your face the entire time. The Rubies are forever grateful for you making our wedding day an absolute blast and one we will never forget. -

Jeff, thank you so much for making our wedding the amazing event it was. Our guests are still talking about "the awesome MC/DJ, who nailed the music". Furthermore, we completely appreciated all of your help leading up to the wedding. Your wisdom and suggestions for making things run smoothly were valuable.
The level of detail you put in to gathering info about us and our bridal party was impressive. It was really neat to have our love story and quirks woven into a game at the reception. Jeff we are grateful that you were a part of our special day. Thank you.
