With over 15 years of DJing experience, Dougie Boom has played the gamut of venues throughout Toronto (with residencies at the Drake Hotel, Drake One Fifty, Levack Block, Broadview Hotel, Amber, Wrongbar, Sneaky Dee's). Primarily, a club & lounge DJ, Dougie Boom is also available for weddings. So, his approach is unique: a working DJ, who also does weddings, that prides himself on keeping everyone happy, jumping genres and moving crowds (big and small).

Services offered

Dougie is available for email consultations, followed by an in-person meeting at your convenience. There you can discuss your musical preferences, ideas and concerns. Of course, you will be able to submit a music playlist, which Dougie uses and expands on, connecting those musical dots. Services offered include:

• Proper functioning equipment including: turntables, speaker system and wireless microphone. Set up and cleaned up in a timely manner.
• 80,000+ song library (paired down from a much larger library at home) of various music styles that can be catered to your taste (eg. 90s-00s hip-hop, electronic, indie, funk, soul, top 40, trap, reggae, classic rock, house, motown, jazz, disco, etc).
• Flexible bookings. Dougie can play your entire wedding including ceremony, reception, dinner, dance portion or you can pick and choose.
• A DJ with a good attitude, who is courteous, professional and is familiar with the complexities of throwing parties big and small.
